This Northern Irish Equality Commission is no easy, approachable, welcoming platform for most, in my experience. I found their responders when speaking on the phone, deliberately hostile, their attitude aggressive and overbearing, uncooperative, tone overly loud and in deliberate haste, impatient, unprofessional, an absolute disgrace deliberately conveyed so that their desperate recipients/clients were put off by the experience. So it seemed they could evade a task that they were being paid to do. Be warned, guys, this is no impartial, easy approach to gaining a resolution in a climate of trust, comfort, and sympathetic attitude. Try another source if you are male or if you have an American or any non-native accent. Particulary all legal residents should report all negative prejudices/experiences to their embassies, especially if an American male to the American embassy, or the European courts, even to the Republic courts. Don't forget Amnesty international are supposed to be helpful with impartiality, but anything is possible in the hostility of NI's clandestine network corporate climate/services. This is the worst climate of equality I've ever witnessed. Look out for the signs, question their input where they should be working for you. If this is omitted, it's a sure sign. Look for strange interviews and listen to the language they use. Question everything, is the place showing fewer males? question their morale and corporate attitude, silence to instil pressure in an uncomfortable enclosure, especially why does NI engage more females here and there? Abuse of policies in NI is rife. Question why they avoid feedback from resumes/C"V"s and interviews. Sure signs of negative activity.

We are so lucky in the uk to have such a fantastic service the staff are amazing I was talking fast die to my disability and the lovely lady listened to everything I said and gave me great advice and gave us so much hope during a difficult time in our lives I would definitely highly recommend this organisation they will go above and beyond to help you I am so pleased I rang them.

 I had the pleasure of speaking with Umar, and I couldn’t be more impressed. I recently had an unpleasant experience in a London retail store which left me extremely upset. I contacted the EHRC and was lucky enough to get advice from one of their advisers who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The fact that the adviser "D." acknowledged my unlawful discrimination experience was extremely reassuring. He also helped and assisted me on how to deal with this matter moving forward. I am really grateful to the EHRC's and the adviser's help and support.

Just another useless organisation. Staff being paid just so it looks the part and can boast its existence. Advises use of the law society. Both of which are totally inept.

Half or zero would do it. They have a very good website , point. Nothing more. You complain , you wait indefinitely. They dispose off your case without any follow up. They send instructions to officials which are never followed. Result , you are back to square A after an indefinite wait . No one communicates with you and they wash their hands off you. My experience is with Indian commission. We are forced to seek justice elsewhere

very poor service . i have no idea what it was set up to do as never bothered to help me despite a very strong and good case. if I could give it no stars I would. The bad rating are so clear . we cannot all be wrong. i do not think it it is fit for purpose, if a 100%rating for dissatisfaction/ bad of it users. serious questions need to be asked

The Equality and Human Rights Commission have failed to properly investigate or take action on very serious complaints of a professional body racially discriminating against its own British members, as had been proven in a British Court. Nothing but excuses about resources or that somehow the matter does not fall in line with their strategy. They are not fit for purpose.
