Very clear on taking details down and explaining the process going forward. Sometime you put making these calls off as you fear the hard sell. Not in this time very relaxed and polite.

A great service

A great service. We had been considering equity release for some time. The advisor contacted us very quickly and went through the different schemes and possible alternatives to raising equity from our property. There was no pressure in any way and the meeting was very informative covering matters that we had not considered. Everything was carried out an easy pace and we were given time to make a decision..
In the end we decided not to use the service - only because we considered an alternative option. All in all, simply by making an enquiry, we benefitted from the information received that enlightened us to all the schemes together with associated costs with no pressure / obligation.

A company called One Family contacted


A company called One Family contacted me and explained everything making it exceptionally easy to follow and choose the right path to take. On deciding which idea to follow the process was simple and understandable and fairly swift so it could not have been easier. I feel in control of the decision making and importantly, in control of my property.

The information provided was spot on to what I had enquired about with equity release. The agent I spoke to, Katie from OneFamily, was knowledgeable and although they weren't quite able to help me in my circumstances at the moment, I am on their books for further advice after my 57th birthday to see if my circumstances can be helped further then. I highly recommend this company for its friendliness and professionalism.

Supported throughout

I completed a online form and was advise to look into other options which I was guided through, everything is complete and I have bought a new car which I would not of been able to do on my own. Then they followed up and it was that final support that made me leave this review. Thank you for seeing it through to the end.

Administration improvements

The whole experience was trouble free and all the people I dealt were knowledgeable and pleasant.
The area I found the most difficult was the paperwork,especially the first packet. To clarify the requirements I numbered the 33 pages and carried the page no’s through to the check list.To make it easier for us old folks I suggest you adopt this from the beginning .It’s simple to follow numbers but page headers for the first time became difficult.Also when I listed any queries I had the page number to refer to.
