Disappointing

I placed my order 28th November for a bouquet and vase, when they arrived they unfortunately looked nothing like the advertised bouquet on the website .

I got in touch with customer services and Lydia replied to my emails, she agreed that the bouquet was disappointing in comparison to the photo displayed online. She was happy for me to return these for a refund, however it took around 2/3 weeks to successfully get the DPD returns label through via email.

Lydia explained on one of her emails if I ever wanted to order in the future, to let her know and she would personally do the order herself to ensure the quality of it. I replied to this and explained I was grateful and I would love the bouquet I originally ordered, subsequently Lydia then ceased replying to my emails.

I returned the bouquet and vase via DPD, Everbloom refunded me once they had received these, however didn’t refund my original postage of £5.95.

It’s not about the money, it’s the principle that we paid postage for something that we never ended up keeping due to the quality of what we received being poor, the owner admitted this over email.

I emailed Lydia once more and explained the above, Lydia never replied to this email - neither did anyone else. Which is pitiful customer service, if something has been returned due to the quality being poor, the original postage should also be refunded too, as it isn’t the customers error that the items were poor quality.

It’s my first experience of this company and it’s safe to say I would never purchase from these again.

** Update**

Thank you for the postage refund, I fully appreciate that it’s not in your policy to refund somebodies original postage when they’ve simply changed their minds, however as you’re aware that didn’t happen, it was a case of poorly quality items received - that’s a different matter.

I never disputed that you sent a pre paid for DPD postage label through, I was grateful of this, however it took a few weeks to receive this, as I stated.

If you’re happy to help with another order, why didn’t you reply to my emails? I literally explained to you on an email that I would’ve liked the bouquet I received, but as it was pictured online. You literally ceased replying, which you will see if you simply check your system and I have never heard from you since then. I’m unsure as to why you think I would want to place another order with your company when you simply stopped replying to my emails, terrible customer service and not a good first impression of your company.

Thank you for taking the time to share this — we're genuinely sorry the bouquet wasn’t what you expected.

As soon as you let us know, we offered a free returns service so you wouldn’t be out of pocket. We also generated and sent a DPD pre-paid returns label the day after the order arrived and you requested it. When you said it hadn’t come through, we resent it several times and ultimately forwarded it to ourselves from our inbox to ensure you received it.

Once the items were returned, we processed your refund as soon as they reached us. You’re absolutely welcome to place a new order for the bouquet you originally wanted — as mentioned, we’d been focusing on getting the return completed and refund issued, but we’re still happy to help with a replacement order if you’d like?

Regarding the £5.95 delivery charge: our policy doesn’t automatically refund original postage, however on this occasion, given your experience, we can and will refund this.

Didn’t take long to arrive and also packed really well so it didn’t get damaged.

Exceptional service from start to…

Exceptional service from start to finish .
I needed help ordering as it was a special gift - got great advice and support to give me in confidence in pick the correct item . Kept up to speed on delivery etc.
The product - beautiful .
Everbloom know their stuff and care - will back for more.
