3 EV cables from EV onestop have now failed within a year. The IP rating on the type one connectors is clearly substandard.

Customer service started of ok but after sending a replacement cable half the length and initially refusing to recognise that. They have left me without a cable for 3 weeks now because DPD lost the cable they sent and somehow that is now my problem to suffer. I have since had to spend another £200 just to charge the car because they cannot sort their lives out.

Great customer service following a faulty cable.
Sent it back and it was looked at and replaced within the week. New one arrived today. Would use again

When I initially purchased the cable the service was excellent. I had an issue with the cable some time later which was quickly and efficiently dealt with, despite being out of warranty. Will buy again.

Rude rude rude this company dose not want to give refunds for faulty goods
The manager puts the phone down when she doesn't get her own way just like a little kid
If we don't get a refund ASAP i will take it up with a newspaper and give them an advert they won't forget please avoid this company at all costs the manager has forgotten who pays her wages

Absolute rubbish keeps coming up with Red fault seller can't say why only that "you can't expect everything to work when you buy things"!!
I can return for refund however need a refund to buy another cable they won't refund till received cable back!!
So leaving my vehicle uncharged gggrrrrr!
Update.. no refund available I have to have a repair or replacement.
Awful company

I was looking for a charging point to work with solar panels for an older Prius. Used the chat function and got a very speedy, helpful reply, guidance and a link to the product I needed which showed everything I needed to know. Was so quick I thought it might be automated but when I sent a thank you it turns out it was a manned service from Ben. When I’m ready to buy I’m coming straight back. Thanks Ben!

We had great advice and was supplied everything we needed the next day.

EV Onestop offfered me a THANKYOU20 discount (for orders over £200) with my first purchase to be applied on my next purchase which I made in December for £299. However they charged the full amount to my credit card and refuse to apply the discount.

Simply awful experience. Poor response times and when i negotiated a discount they just removed items from the order! I would avoid purchasing from this company.

I didn't buy from this firm as I was very unimpressed by their customer service - very rushed - and their website is very technical for non electrician type people. There prices are also misleading given that I was going to have to add an O-PEN earthing unit - something you don't need to do with Pod Point. One to avoid.

Buyer beware. Awful company to deal with, I messaged on the webpage but did not get a response. I called them 3 days later, told to email! Recieved the lead a couple of weeks ago. I'm disabled and was at a motorway services trying to charge my car, the lead would not work, another customer was so lovely, as he was actually a local he went to halfords and collected a new lead which cost me £150. As I say contacted the company and the response is basically I'm out of the 14 day warranty period, I send it back at my cost and they 'check' the lead, if they say it's ok they send it back to me! So seems a waste of time doing this as viewing responses on here I'm not getting a refund but will get either a new lead which is pointless now or the old one returned! Avoid at all costs in my opinion.

I can't quite believe how poor this company is, on pretty much every level.

I bought an adapter cable to convert my Type 1 car to a Type 2 cable (as you mostly find Type 2 at ECO hotels etc), so took it with us when we travelled out to Wales and, on first use, the Type 1 gun at the end of the adapter fell to pieces. It's really poorly manufactured and very unlike my Type 1 cable at home, which has been in service and regularly used since 2015. The adapter also has a flexible gator, which I assume is supposed to be waterproof but this is not sealed and leaves a gaping hole for water to get into......Really poor quality control.

I decided to send the adapter back and asked for a refund, this was backed up in an email so no room for error......or so you'd think! Guess what turned up at my door around 10 days later, yes a replacement adapter. No advance notification, nothing.

I phoned again and asked them to collect the cable and action a refund so they send me a link to a PDF label which needs me to set up a Gmail email account.....really?? Can't you send me a PDF attached to an email??

I have emailed them...nothing. I have called them.....queing for an age.......more of my life gone that I won't get back. Took my money quickly enough though.

If you want a decent Type 2 to Type 1 adapter, I bought this one from Amazon:

Bought a QUBEV 18th edition charge box (wasn't sure about 17th above 18th) and 40amp RCBO.
Very glad l choose 18th as it's a very reassuring quality product.

I ordered a 10-metre cable in the afternoon and it arrived at 8.30 the following morning. Excellent service!
The cable appears to be very well made and works well.

Bought a cable for PHEV over there, very good product, looks reliable and very good price. Think to add the bag for cable, cause it's in option.
Shipment very fast, 5 days to France : perfect.
Good communication with customer service too.

I do not suggest to buy from this company, especially because of the poor service. I had to return the cable to check it for an error. This should only take roughly three days, but it took in total more than a month! In the mean time I could not charge my car, and because my car is fully electric, this was a big problem. I mentioned this to the seller, but they did not respond to this at all.

So if you fully rely on the cable for charging your car, buy from another seller.
