I had a private tour of Oman In October. It was a fantastic trip. I saw a lot of Oman with a great guide, Qambar. I saw the Grand Mosque, museums, palaces and opera house in Muscat. Then we drove into the countryside where I hiked in Wadis. One favorite day was driving through the sand dunes to a tent camp in the desert. Another favorite was a tent camp by the ocean to watch the green turtles nesting.

The Team that put our Tour together, was exceptional. They designed a Tour for my Husband & I with a Private Driver, Mohammed, who was outstanding & catered to us the whole trip through Morocco.Experience It/Morocco Tours worked together & picked all the places we stayed, which were superb in every way. It was a great experience thanks to the great organization from this Team. About the agency/staff:
From the initial consultation for the tour of Morocco to the final goodbye to our driver/tour guide at the airport security gate, we felt very well taken care of by the staff of Morocco Tours/Experience It Tours.

Bethany was very knowledgeable and accommodating when we requested a change to the initial itinerary. The follow up information about Morocco, photography, history, food etc. were very informative and helpful. In the last week before the trip, Vienna kindly followed up with us for any last minute questions which we had plenty. Once again, this helped easing our minds before the trip.

Having our driver/guide’s phone number was extremely helpful as my luggage did not arrive with me in Casablanca. I called and he patiently waited for 2 hours outside for us to report the missing luggage. Our driver/tour guide, Wahid, is exceptionally flexible, always consulted us on the schedule and happily adjusted to what are interested in and physically able to do. He eased our concerns when he volunteered to follow up with vendors to clarify purchases and shipments. He is friendly and have a great sense of humor which we greatly appreciated. We felt safe with Wahid and considered him a friend by the end of the trip.

For the home office: La Tangerina Hotel in Tangier was an outlier for the trip. It did not measure up with comfort luxury standard offered by all other places we stayed in. Please seek out a new place for your next guests.

About the trip:

We wanted to celebrate our 30th anniversary with a return trip to Africa (Bostwana Kalahari Desert in particular). Morocco was not even on our mind at the beginning of the year. Bostwana did not work out and somehow Morocco popped up on our radar. We looked into it and was particularly impressed with cultural diversity, history, and the Sahara desert! Morocco did not disappoint and with the care we received during the trip, it was beyond our expectations.

Our highlights:

1. Riding the camels at sunset to our tent in Sahara Desert on our 30th Anniversary. Dinner at the tent was the best meal we had on the trip.

2. Interactions with Moroccans: our own driver is an excellent representative for his country, visit with a Berber family in their tent,

being called a “Berber” woman by the vendor during a price negotiation for carpets, and a farmer in Erfoud handed me a handful of ripe dates off his trees. Favorite story: At Riad Myra (Fes), I asked our waiter for “chamomile” tea after dinner. He was a bit confused and said that there was no “camel milk’ at the Riad. He said he came from the desert and they had camel milk there, but not a the Riad. I was confused too. My husband finally figured it out the similar sounding of “chamomile” and “camel milk”

3. A sense of what life was like in 11th-14th centuries on the route of 1000 kasbahs ending for the night at a restored kasbah in Skoura.

4. I loved Moroccan food! Tajine, kafta, brochettes, bread with eggs cooked in a tajine, olives, cookies, Moroccan tea, escargot and herbal hot drink at the Marakesh market. I now have a Tajines & Couscous cookbook and a tajine to cook my new favorite dishes.

5. Woke up to calls for prayers as our La Maison Arabe in Marakesh was next to a mosque.

6. Could not leave without some argan oil and Moroccan botox (cactus seed extract), Berger rugs, lamps with Iraqi glasses, tiles, etc..

We had an absolutely wonderful 11 day driving trip around Morocco.
There couldn't possibly be a more lovely person and companion nor better driver than Driss. Our riad stays were also wonderful - even our one substitute 3-star was quite nice.

Oman was quite different to what I expected. I found it a country with gentle, hospitable people. The mountain scenery was amazing. My friend and I had a guide/driver and the tour organized by It Oman was much better than I expected. There seemed to be many families travelling & at all times I felt safe & welcome.

Our trip to Morocco with Experience It Tours really was wonderful. We took the 4-star package and at each stop wished we could stay another night just to enjoy the riad. Our driver, Ryad, was superb! There's a lot of time in the car and you go through some less than ideal road conditions so having an excellent driver was the key to the trip's success. Ryad also provided a lot of insight into the history of Morocco and life there today.

My one caution is the carpet sellers in Fes. They are aggressive (in spite of their protestations to the contrary) and you need to remind yourself what your goals are just before you go in. What was billed as education on the different types of carpets was 10% education and 90% sell.

We loved having our own driver and being a small tour of 6. We have disparate, but extensive, travel experiences and this was the first time for all of us to not plan and direct ourselves traveling in another country. We are grateful that Experience IT made this a tour without stress.

Our group unanimously declared this the BEST vacation ever - and this group has been all over the world! The name of the tour company - Experience It Tours - describes their tours well. We had a full immersion into Morocco in all respects.
Our driver/guide Tarik was fantastic. He was a great, safe driver, had flexibility and tailored the trip to our interests on the spot. He is a great person - fun, knowledgeable and we all came to regard him as a friend by the end of the trip.
We had excellent guides in each city: Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakech, Essaouira as well as the many smaller stops along the way. The trip into the Sahara which included a camel ride to our tents in the desert was unique and very memorable.
Our meals were all included (except for lunches) and were all in excellent restaurants chosen by Tarik. The overnight stays were in Ryads (local guest houses) in the older parts of town called Medinas and they were all outstanding, not lacking in any aspect. The staff in each Ryad and restaurant were friendly and took time to explain the Moroccan and Berber cultures and food. None of our many questions were left unanswered.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience that gave us an intimate and wonderful knowledge of the Moroccan people, geography, culture, food and history.

I was born in Casablanca and lived there until I was 12. This trip brought so many wonderful memories and added enough new ones to last me a lifetime. We all highly recommend Experience It Tours and encourage everyone to go to Morocco.

EIT did s a great job working with our group of 6 to customize a 10 day Moroccan trip. The guide, Abdelkader was very good and Abdul, the driver, was good as well. Highlights were the night in the Sahara and a balloon ride outside Marrakech. All around great tour with very nice riads at each of the stops.

Great tour to Morocco! Careful attention to detail. Ryad was a great driver and we enjoyed the riads in which we stayed. Restaurants for lunch didn't offer much light fare.

We spent two of the best weeks traveling on an excellent, well-planned trip to Morocco with the best driver and excellent tour guides. We are still talking about our trip, the sights, the foods, and the fact that everything was taken care of by our terrific driver, Ryad. We would recommend Experience It Tours again and again.

My wife and I have visited over 80 countries and traveled both on our own and which guides. Our trip to Morocco with "Experience It" was an outstanding memorable trip. The organization was first rate. The choice of hotels unique, luxurious and interesting. Our drive was very knowledgable and able to make each day special. Experience It has my highest recommendation.

Experience it Morocco did an outstanding job booking my son and I into Morocco during high season with only a 12 day lead time. They were flexible and attentive.. I even got a surprise when I reached home. Our driver picked us up at the airport and we bonded with him immediately. This wonderful guy we called zeeko greeted us with a welcoming smile and always had our pleasure and safety in mind. The guides we had in each place of interest were personable and informative. The riads— a mos of 3to 5 stars were really quaint and special. We felt very immersed in Moroccan culture. It was truly an authentic experience. Our favorite part was the desert experience— sand surfing and atving. The thing to remember is there are great distances to cover so download your tunes to play in the car and pack some snacks BC you can be in the car for hours. The coolest places take a drive. I highly recommend this tour team and our fabulous driver, zeeko.

We had an incredible experience. Far exceeded expectations. Our driver worked hard to keep us happy. Khalid was wonderful. I would be happy to share our experience with anyone.

A group of 4 empty nesters, we had plenty of collective international travel experience but none in Morocco nor even good guide contacts. After some online research we contracted with Experience-It tours for what turned out to be a very positive experience for us. Expereince-It provided continuous communications (which helped build trust), lots of pre-trip information and was quick to respond to questions. They provided a great guide (Ilyass), comfortable van and nice accommodations.

In the ‘what I wished I had known category’ I would advise Morocco adventurers to secure a large supply of small 20 dirham ($2) bills and 5 dirham coins for tips and bathrooms as they are hard to come by and go fast. Also be aware that Morocco is a big country so you will drive a long way over 10 days or so (we went 1200 miles). Camels are very uncomfortable to ride but make for great photos and your Sahara overnight will be a highlight of our trip. Hotels and Riads are generally nice but do opt for as many stars as you can afford. We did 4-star, which was perfectly fine, but would save up for 5-star next time. Wine and beer is widely available and inexpensive in restaurants and spirits can be purhased at groceries; your guid can take you. While you probably have read about the conservative dress code it is not really that big a deal and you will see plenty of tourists in short-shorts and other culturally inappropriate garb. And be aware that you will be placed in a few pressure-selling situations (rugs, textiles, oils, fossils, etc.) so be clear with your guide how you feel about that. We didn’t care for being hotboxed by the rug guy. Good news is that the souk vendors in the markets have toned down their high pressure tactics.

Hope this review helps you enjoy a wonderful and interesting country. And if you need a tour company you can trust Experience-It is a great choice.

My wife and I had an amazing time on our honeymoon. It was the exact adventure we were looking for. Thanks to Experience It Tours we didn't even have to think about anything. The driver they coordinated was perfect and really went above and beyond for us. I have a peanut allergy and not once was I ever concerned due to the organization and coordination of Experience It Tours. I would highly recommend them to plan your next vacation/adventure!

Our driver, Driss, was a wonderful driver who was super friendly, had lots of great insight, and set up wonderful tours with local tour guides.

We are experienced world travelers and we think this was one of the best trips we have taken. Our driver Hasani was wonderful and added so much depth to our understanding of the history, geography and culture of Morocco. He listened to our requests and went out of his way to set up special moments like taking us to see how olive oil is pressed or helping me pick out a special tagine. He made sure that our trip was personalized and not a prescribed agenda of stops. The food, people, accommodations and geography plus the professionalism and deep knowledge of Morocco that Hasani possesses all came together to make our time in Morocco magical. We we all agreed that Experience Tours offered us the rich experience that we simply could not have done on our own!

We had a fabulous visit to Morocco planned for and with us by Experience It Tours. The staff team at EIT could not have been better. They were knowledgeable, flexible, and well organized. Advance materials prepared us well for our entry into another culture. The driver they arranged for us, Ryad, was excellent and the tour guides he engaged for us at each location were very good. We learned so much about this beautiful and fascinating country. We highly recommend EIT to anyone who wants a personalized in depth experience in Morocco.

Excellent to deal with. The US Staff (sales/billing/backoffice) was responsive, quick to answer questions, eager to help with planning, and quick to fix some payment issues that arose with some Paypal problems.

Many of the Riads we were booked in were exceptional and exceeded our expectations.

After our tour, we gave an honest review and feedback directly to the people at Experience IT Tours and expressed some disappointment in some areas. Mainly around the quality of the independent daily tour guides that were assigned to us.

The trip was still enjoyable and we were not expecting anything other than to supply feedback so that they could improve things for subsequent clients. However, Experience IT! tours said that our experience did not meet their quality expectations and unsolicited, they issued us a partial refund.

This was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. It goes to show that they care greatly about their customers experience and are a trustworthy and reputable operator.
