This company is a true, genuine scam. I cannot believe they are still doing âbusinessâ. Nothing about this company is honest. Worst experience ive had. I had a flight booked thru Exploretrip with Copa Airlines for next november 30th, yesterday i found out that theres a problem with my tickets and that Exploretrip has put my tickets as an Open Ticket so i would be unable to use them. Copa is charging me $700 to restore them unless Exploretrip fix the issue since they were booked thru them and is Exploretrip the only ones able to make changes. They need to re confirm my flights. So i called them around 6 times just to get a bunch of excuses and telling me they cant do anything for me. They dont stand with their customers and is probably a scam. I lost my money and had to rebook my flights obviously not with them. Not to mention their rudeness from costumer support agents and imposible to reach via email. Sad but it happened to me.

I purchased 4 tickets for international travel through a discount website, then decided several hours later to make the purchase through my travel rewards program instead. I thought I had 24 hours to cancel the booking without penalties but learned after speaking with Larry at ExploreTrip that there will be a $75 charge for each ticket ($300 total). Of course I wasn't happy with this, but I realize that Larry is just a guy doing his job. He has to deal with difficult and unhappy customers every single day. What I appreciate (and the reason for my 4 star review of this company) is Larry's willingness to listen and to answer my questions. He explained the company policies and after some back and forth, found a way to reverse my purchase, which thus eliminated the cancellation fees. I don't know if this would have happened regardless of who I spoke to, but I ultimately did have a positive outcome with this company and their employee. They had/have the cheapest airfare compared to all the other companies but the $75 cancellation penalty is a bummer so I docked one star.

Bait and switch scam, messed up website and terrible customer service
Short summary:
These are cons artist playing bait and switch scam, along with terrible customer service and communication, and messed up website
Conclusion! Always check the reviews before dealing with any new air ticket vendor, there are many bait and switch artist around.
Long story:
I found them from another website that show competitive prices from different vendors. Their price was lowest although a little bit lower than another highly reputed vendor so I decided to go with them to save few extra bucks, which was my first mistake. The booking experience went smooth all the way they grabbed my credit card info. The horrible story started right from there.
- First of all they tried to charge my credit card in USD while all prices were shown and agreed in CAD.
- Then I got the email that my booking has been successful and a ticket will be issued shortly WHICH NEVER HAPPENED.
- At that time I realized my mistake i.e., not checking their reviews first. So I tried to persuade them to either issue me the ticket or cancel my order instead of keeping me in the limbo.
- I tried to get hold of customer service, there is a online chat service that is useless as no one ever answered.
- They have listed US local phone number but it requires you make international call from Canada.
- I sent emails as well but no response until next day around noon, an Indian lady (I am not against any race but you know these days every scam call you get has an Indian accent on the other side, so it has almost become a red flag the moment you hear it) called me. I requested her the same thing that charge me in CAD as promised on my booking plus either issue me ticket right away or cancel my booking so that I can move on. She assured me that a ticket is going to be issued shortly and confirmed again the CAD price as per my booking. This was my second mistake that I trusted her assurance, I had pretty much made my mind earlier to just ask them to cancel it and book it with other vendor but alas I fell in to the trap again by trusted her and was stung the second time.
- The whole day went by and in evening an Indian guy called me and started bargaining about the ticket price claiming that airline has bumped up the price now. I reiterated that since beginning I have been asking you guys to either issue me ticket as per my booking or cancel it, and finally they cancelled it.
In this whole exercise I wasted lot of time with these guys plus lost the deal from the other vendor because the price did go up just about the time they came back to me and started bargaining. So they screwed me up and kept me in limbo saying ticket is on the way and deprived me of the opportunity.
Their website is also messed up. For example if I search the same flight from their website (it is a single non-stop flight run by a major airline) I get "no results found", but when I searched it on skyscanner it shows up and directed to to their website, that's how I ended up booking with them.
Other issue on their website is after I completed my booking it shows CAD currency with USD amount (which is 1.27 times lower), that could have been another claim that I could have make legally because my booking does shows that lower price with CAD in bold, but I knew their website is messed up and didn't want to be unfair on my end.
