I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Xterior for a lifestyle room project.

Please don’t be misled by the reviews you see on Instagram — many of them appear to be paid promotions rather than genuine customer experiences.

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. Initially, they approached us with an offer of 60% upfront payment and the remaining balance spread over 10 months via EMI. However, after taking our money, the project dragged on for nearly **two years**, despite countless calls and emails from our side.

Eventually, after what felt like endless follow-ups, someone named L....n took over and informed us that if we wanted the items delivered to our home, we would have to pay the full remaining amount upfront — completely contradicting the original agreement.

As for the “lifestyle room” itself, it is poorly suited for UK weather. It’s only usable in summer. During winter, ice formed and even hung from the roof. When the rainy season arrived, the room started leaking badly, flooding the space and damaging our furniture.

Despite being promised a 10-year warranty, I received no support. Customer service was completely unresponsive, and I had no choice but to hire an independent handyman to fix the issues at my own expense.

Overall, this has been a very stressful and costly experience. Please be cautious and do your research before committing — I wouldn’t want others to go through the same situation.

They are scammer
They do survey , take 80% deposit and then disappear, no call and nothing , my solicitors now I have to take them to court.

DON’T TRUST THEM They take money Then disappear , they are scammers.They never reply to emails or calls and ignore after taking money.This company is a scam

The product is not fit for purpose

This company have ripped me off, installed a building badly, it is unsafe damaged at installatin by the installers, and they lie and cheat and tell the biggest porkies. I am now have to take them to court to get their dangerou building out of my garden

Top company, highly highly recommend !! I had a pergola installed in an awkward and difficult position but it was no challenge for the chaps at Exterio. Communication from sizing to sale was so easy they took the challenges into their own hands.

Just had the Tokyo firepit dining set and i’m impressed! The service was great and the set brings a warmth to the outdoor space. I’ve hosted a couple of nights for dinner and drinks since receiving it and everyone loves it. Thank you Exterio!!

Very happy!! I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first but they were so helpful with all my questions. It’s been a few weeks since delivery and installation and I can happily say that it was a quality job! Rare to find a good company like this. Definitely will use again if we ever move house or decide to make more changes.

I received a pergola and BBQ from exterio recently really great service and good with delivery and contact along the way definitely be back next spring

Amazing service, I had a pergola installed by these guys and it’s been a fantastic addition to my garden. Really good quality, and it was fitted very efficiently. I would highly recommend Exterio to anyone looking for any garden furniture or garden appliances. My experience with them was much better with than other companies as they seemed to actually care about what I wanted! Thanks Guys!
