Very friendly and flexible. Safe pair of hands.

Very efficent, thorough and caring from start to completion. Lots of information and guidance from the time of the initial examination and assessment through to the completion of my procedure which involved the removal of cataracts but most importantly lens replacement to restore my long sight to 20/20 vision. Now in my late seventies I have the long sight I had 63 years ago!
The nurse who prepared me for the operation described the procedure as being as close to a minor miracle as anything they did at the clinic. She was so right, it is life-changing.
Be sure you follow Mr Hamada and his team's advice.

We had excellent care for my daughter's complex congenital eye condition from Mr Hamada. Her condition seems to be stabilising thanks to his interventions. We went to Mr Hamada on the basis of a recommendation from another renown paediatric eye surgeon and because the NHS consultants had run out of ideas, preferring to "wait and see what happens" while our daughter's eyes continued to deteriorate.

Instead of the risk-averse approach from the NHS, Mr Hamada gave us pragmatic advice and took action to try and stabilise the deterioration. He even referred us to a colleague who could (and did) some work on her eye lids to ensure they closed properly.

The costs were extremely reasonable, and great value given the quality of care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Hamada to others.

I visited the Eye Clinic London after experiencing chronic dry eye symptoms for over a year. I am currently still in treatment, but so far progress has been good and my symptoms are no longer getting in the way of my day-to-day. I cannot express in words how good that feels.

I underwent ICL (also known as Implantable Collamer or Implantable Contact Lens) surgery to correct my vision. I chose this treatment as an alternative to Lasik or Lasek laser vision correction.

I have worn glasses ever since I was four years old, and although I’ve never minded them, I wanted the freedom of not depending upon them.

Working as an optometrist, I have witnessed both the success stories and complications of vision correction. I did not make this life-changing decision lightly and spent two years researching into potential surgeons.

I attended multiple webinars by Mr Samer Hamada and followed his teaching, education, NHS/private work, patient reviews and complication management, as well as the international travel he has done to perform surgery on the most delicate of cases.

I first met Mr Samer Hamada during my friend’s ICL consultation. Naturally, we both had many, many pressing questions to which we wanted answers, advice and reassurance on. Mr Hamada has a natural and calm aura about him that alleviated any concerns. He was able to answer all of our questions in the most professional manner, in a way that only optimum clinical experience, passion and knowledge is able to. He was unfazed by the two optometrists in front of him that were throwing the most obscure worst-case scenarios at him.

My first treatment was an iridectomy (new opening in the iris to control pressure) before my implant surgery. I surprised myself by how extremely nervous I was beforehand. However, upon his performance of the procedure with such precision and grace, I was instantly assured that I had picked the right surgeon.

I was now actually excited when it came to my surgery day. The surgery itself was around 10 minutes per eye. It was fascinating - and although it may be hard to believe - I really enjoyed the process. I loved every minute of it. Watching a master at work on my eyeballs after all those years of research was just stunning. Mr Hamada’s touch and attention to detail was incredibly gentle - and I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure. The only way I can describe it, is as if I was swimming in the coral reef of the Indian Ocean! Lots of brightly coloured lights and the feeling of constant water on my eyes. He was a master at work, and I was a mere spectator. It was a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The whole team was lovely, professional and looked after me well. They even allowed me to video most of the experience and upload it onto YouTube for everyone to really see what the treatment journey was like. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Samer Hamada to my family, friends, colleagues and patients.

Samer Hamada of the London Eye Clinic was a lifesaver when I first experienced the need to deal with cataracts at the age of 48. As my vision deteriorated and the colours dulled I was referred to Samer by my optician. The procedure was painless, swift and expertly arranged by his PA Joanna. It could not have been an easier experience and I was instantly rewarded with 20/20 vision. Since then I have used the practice for YAG laser treatment and I still enjoy crystal clear vision from the multi focal lenses that were used to replace my old tired ones. I highly recommend Mr. Hamada and his staff! I was put at ease from the moment I made my first appointment all the way through my after care (cataract surgery in both eyes, due to medical steroids). I never felt rushed during my appointments, instead, I was relaxed and made to feel I was the only patient they had.

Eye Clinic London was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. I had an astigmatism in my left eye which meant that there was a significant difference in vision between each eye. I visited the clinic during covid restrictions but I felt completely at ease with what the clinic had in place. When I met Mr Hamada he explained the options available and made me feel really at ease. The procedure itself was very quick and the aftercare was excellent.

Hi. I have suffered with severe dry eyes for many years. In the country I live in I was tokd that all treatment options have been exhausted and there is nothing doctors there can do for me.
