Very helpful first video consultation which was packaged as part of a physical one if needed once I am vaccinated. Good impressions overall, from both the consultant and the staff.

Eye Clinic London is one of the best clinic around with a wonderful supportive staff and highly talented and experienced consultant Dr Hamada. I had developed problem with my eyes after post covid19 infection and came to see Dr Hamada after finding out about the fantastic work he has been doing in his field of work. Overall I couldn't have been happier with the treatment i have received from Dr Hamada who is extremely knowledgeable and as stated above a highly talented consultant with impeccable manners.

In the last year i have undergone extensive eye surgery through the London Eye Clinic. The surgery was cataracts and then cornea transplants in both eyes. My surgeon Dr Samer Hamada explained the whole procedure beforehand and let me know what i could expect after the surgery. Due to this i was completely ready for the surgery and understood everything regarding my recovery. The aftercare was second to none and i couldn't have asked for a better surgeon and would highly recommend Dr Hamada and the London Eye Clinic.

Posted by Elizabeth Musetti: I was struggling with the sight in one eye and was originally referred to have a YAG capsulotomy (a correctional laser procedure) under the NHS. However the procedure was cancelled until a much later date but this new date was not guaranteed because I was not considered a priority - I still had sight in one eye and there was a long waiting list. Because I was finding it increasingly difficult to read and was concerned about driving I decided to have the procedure carried out privately. Mr Hamada’s lovely and efficient secretary booked me in and explained everything to me. On the day Mr Hamada carried out a thorough examination of my eyes and then proceeded to carry out the laser treatment on one eye which took only minutes and was completely painless. Normal eyesight was restored immediately. It was worth every penny and I am very happy with the result.

Well received by the team and was given good feedback and the next steps etc. I felt at ease with the specialist and trusted him.

My first consultation with Mr Hamada was very helpful. I've been suffering from irritated eyes for 4 years and have seen a few eye specialists, but Mr Hamada is the first one who went beyond the symptoms and pointed out the root cause. He suggested a few new treatments and referred me for further tests. I am hopeful that with his help my eye condition could finally improve. His PA Joanna is also very helpful and friendly. August 2020- I experienced an awful eye ulcer which sadly left behind a huge scar covering half of my pupil. This was primarily due to contact lenses.

Jan 2021- After researching various surgeons, I decided to visit London Focus Clinic which lead me to Mr Hamada. I attended my first consolation and I felt completely at ease and very confident with the procedure options in order to correct my scaring issue on my right eye. I decided to go ahead with PRK on my right eye after talking this through with Mr Hamada.

Feb 2021- It has been five days since my surgery and I have just attended my follow up appointment, all is looking well.

The procedure it’s self wasn’t painful at all and the whole team make you feel so safe and calm throughout. I was advised in advance about the pain from PRK and I was well equipped to target this directly with drops and medication.

I am currently waiting to schedule my four week appointment with Mr Hamada to see how my vision will improve over the next few weeks.

I honestly couldn’t recommend EyeclinicLondon enough. I felt in safe hands throughout and Joanna is absolutely amazing at organising and talking through each step. I really appreciated the follow up call provided by Joanna, she was fantastic at listening and advising.

My mother came to Mr.Hamada many years ago , since 2012/13 , with extremely dry and inflamed eyes. She has had a history of eye problems since childhood making her eyes extremely sensitive and treatment that much more difficult. The level of care has been consistently excellent. Mr. Hamada is very patient understanding and humble. He goes out of his way to make his patients comfortable . His diagnosis and treatment are accurate and effective.
Mr. Hamada has maintained the health of my mother’s eyes to date. Impossible is not in his vocabulary- Mr. Hamada will find a solution to a problem always.
I would like to add that Mrs.Joanna Tragent, Mr.Hamada’s secretary, is very much an important part of the consultation. Joanna is very prompt and efficient in liaising between consultant and patient. She is very helpful and will go out of her way to make the whole experience as smooth as possible. Joanna is a source of significant contribution to Mr.Hamada’s clinic ,definitely not very common from my experience, paying great attention to detail regarding the welfare and comfort of the patient.

From the first contact I had with Joanna, Mr. Hamadas' P.A. I was impressed and went forward with an appointment to meet Mr. Hamada and discuss what course of action he felt appropriate. He arranged for pre-operation assessments and armed with this we sat down and discussed his recommendations. I was immediately put at ease and the full procedure was explained together with pre and post operative details. I could not be more impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending him, nothing has been too much trouble and Joanna had endless patience with any questions I had. Thank you very much.

Top class service. Our only problem was difficulties with parking.

CATARACT OPERATION - AUG 2020

The knowledge, professionalism and standard of care provided by Mr Hamada were all exemplary - I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. First class throughout, from first diagnosis through to the procedure itself, especially when set against the challenging backdrop of COVID-19.

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. The professionalism, expertise and clinical outcome exceeded my expectations. Empathy and care abounded and permeated every level of this organisation. The clinic itself is modern, spotless, high tech and efficiently run. Particular thanks must go to Mr Hamada – 5 procedures on my eyes including lens replacement and LASIK – extremely skilled, attentive, reassuring and very successful.
