Ordered a pair of pants on 4/01

Ordered a pair of pants on 4/01. As of the time of this review it's 4/09. My shipmet was last scanned 5 days ago and haven't left OH. I assume they're lost. I'm unable to reach an actual person (tried phone, email, and chat)as they seem to exclusively use AI which only tells me they can't cancel the order or refund me until I receive the item, which appears to be lost. Paying a premium price should come with some customer service. Based on the experience their is no value for the price.

They need to work on sizes

I bought a shirt in womens XL because I wanted a loose fit. The shirt is beautiful and seems to be high quality, but it was the most enormous XL I have ever seen. The sleeves went way past my hands, and I could have fit another person in it with me, so I exchanged it for a medium, thinking two sizes down would be a great fit. I slipped it on and it seems like the exact same size as the XL I just returned. Not sure if they just swapped out the XL tag for an M or if they just can't determine how to measure normal human-size clothes. They're now out of stock in smaller sizes so I'll likely take it to a tailor and make an already overpriced shirt even more expensive. Oh, and they haven't yet refunded the first shirt that I've confirmed they received already--so they one shirt back but I've still been charged for two (over $400). I would love to talk to someone about this but they only have an AI chatbot, who told me it's probably a "hold" on my credit card that will eventually be refunded. Beautiful shirt, but I won't be shopping at Faherty again.

The clothing is very poorly fitted

The clothing is pricey - -between $128 - $300+ for shirts - - ergo, one's expectations for a premium product with excellent fit are deserved. The fabric feels premium. Unfortunately the Faherty Brand fit is very poor. Faherty Brand fitment is perhaps best described as 'floppy' - - as in, if you want to resemble a circus clown. For example, a Faherty Brand size L shirt on a 6'2, 220lb male with athletic shoulders lets the sleeves not only completely cover the hands, the wrist button fitment have such massive floppy openings (on a 200mm wrist) so as to allow the shirt sleeves to topple all the way to the fingertips. It's shoddy, throw-it-out-there-to-the-masses low-quality lousy fitment which defeats the look. If you purchase Faherty Brand shirts & overshirts, then prepare to pay more money to your tailor to attempt to get the item to actually fit. Or, wear unaltered & look like you're wearing a clown shirt or a shirt that a larger daddy donated to you. I have purchased over 6 shirts from Faherty Brand, including their Nazare efforts, & each time a tailor has been employed to take in each shirt. Other brands, such as Taylor Stitch, have sizes that actually fit. I don't recommend Faherty Brand.

SCAM

SCAM! Do not buy. Product never shipped. Confirmation email, all links are bad and don't exist anymore, so not only can I not see my order or track it, I can't contact the seller. Thank god for CC company to be able to reimburse me.

Lost package

Really cute clothes but they use FedEx which is maybe the worst company. The clothes I ordered were lost in transit. Despite me emailing faherty multiple times, they told me to keep waiting. By the time faherty admitted my stuff was lost and offered to resend, weeks had passed and one of the items was sold out and one I no longer needed because the trip I needed it for had already passed. The remaining item didn’t fit.

Returned 2 items before Thanksgiving

Returned 2 items before Thanksgiving. Unworn. Tags still on. It's now Jan 14th and they still haven't refunded me. Can't reach them via phone. I did get the chat to work and the conversation was awful as in no real answers for the delay and no help overall. Only the are still looking into my return and thanks for waiting. This can't be real.

Quality & transparency issues

This company deletes all negative product reviews on their site. They tout product quality in order to justify their prices but in reality the quality is abysmal.

Great marketing covers low quality

I buy in store and their marketing and design are really good. But when I get home I usually find that they don’t look as good as in store. And I am beginning to realize that they are not good quality. They don’t last.

one month delay in shipping

Ordered a shirt with free shipping. When It didn’t even begin to ship for a week it clearly wasn’t even in stock. I asked the order to be canceled and they refused. It took over one month to arrive, their estimated arrival date was off by two weeks. They then charged me $7 to return an unopened item. Never going to Faherty again.

Terrible customer service and items never arrived

The 1 star reviews are correct. Ordered an item that three weeks ago that is not moving via fedex and customer support keeps telling me g me I should have used expedited shipping. How about go track the order or offer a refund instead of being condescending to your customers. Avoid ordering from them at all costs.

Not quality clothing

Bought some very cool, soft jeans at their store in Ketchum, ID. Loved the jean…until I washed them. All the softness was gone and now they are a rough pair of thin jeans. I washed inside out, cold water delicate as instructed. So disappointing. They were $200! DO NOT buy from this brand. It is a rip off! I saw the same jeans at The Gap for $61. Not as soft but much better quality. Never again!!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I returned an item via UPS and my refund didn't go through. I reached out to customer service and got this response:

"Our Returns Team has reviewed the situation and confirmed that while your drop-off occurred before the Happy Returns codes expired, the return does not appear to have been scanned properly at the UPS location. Because of that, the system didn’t register your return, and we don’t have a record of it being received.

At this point, our Returns Director has asked that you contact the UPS Store directly to explain the situation. They may still have a record of your drop-off under your name, phone number, or email, even if a receipt wasn’t printed at the time.

Once you’ve had a chance to reach out to them, please let me know what they’re able to share — I’ll relay that information right away so we can move forward with resolving this for you.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we work to get this squared away."

I guess Faherty now expects customers to do their work for them. I'll shop elsewhere.

I had a disappointing experience with…

I had a disappointing experience with Faherty’s customer service. I came across a 50% discount code online that applied correctly to my entire cart—until I entered my email, at which point the prices reverted to full retail. When I reached out to inquire, I was told the code was only valid for “friends and family.”

To make matters worse, the representative told me that if I didn’t like that answer, I should contact the Faherty family directly—whatever that was supposed to mean. I explained that, as a returning customer, they should have honored the discount as a one-time exception, especially given how misleading the site behavior was. It felt like classic bait and switch.

Their response showed zero interest in retaining a customer. They offered a 25% off code, which is only marginally better than the 15% discounts available everywhere. Once I use up my remaining gift card balance, I won’t be shopping with Faherty again. At $200 for a pair of pants, customers deserve better treatment and a brand that values loyalty.

When a Quality Guarantee is a Marketing Gimmick

I reached out to Fagerty Brands about Shorelite bathing suit (MSS2401-OFF/PO#33884). I’ve owned the swimsuit for a year and worn it under a dozen times. The lining now tears in several places. While the response was quick, their “Quality Guarantee” is not what was advertised. I was offered a $25 gift certificate to replace $98 trunks, claimed to be because the item is “in otherwise great condition.” When I pushed back, I was told to contact the merchant carrying THEIR brand. Not what I expected. Very disappointing from a once-favorite, expensive label.

Frustrating customer service

Ordered two items 13 days ago, it took a few days to ship out, and the last FedEx scan was 8 days ago, still across the country. I inquired with customer service who took 3 days to get back to me over email, and their response was essentially 'the package is with FedEx, we'll email you once it is delivered!' I understand they do not have control over FedEx, but they did chose them as the carrier and I found the response to be flippant and insufficient. Seeing the tracking stalled 8 days ago, I would have hoped would trigger a closer look from them or some sort of remedy. I ordered for a spouse's birthday, with what I thought would be plenty of time and now that present will not arrive on time.

Nonexistent Customer Service

I ordered a dress recently. I received an email from FedEx confirming delivery on a Wednesday that included a photo of the package. The package was laying on a bare stone floor in a building lobby. Unfortunately the building in the photo is not mine. My building has a 24 hour/7 day doorman that receives all packages, logs them into a database that alerts the residents. My building lobby also is completely carpeted. There are no bare floors in our lobby as shown in the picture.

I called Faherty the same day at (877) 745-8994. I received a recording that loops over and over stating all agents are busy helping others and simply directs callers to use the chat feature on the website. Well I did that, thinking I would receive help. The chat feature simply asks you for your email and advises you that an agent will be in touch shortly.

I continued to call multiple times, hoping to reach an agent but no one ever picks up, regardless of when I called.

I spoke to a FedEx rep who stated that due to the type of service Faherty uses, she cannot assist me. She states that I cannot submit a claim on my own behalf, despite having a photo the clearly shows the package was not left in my building. She advised me that I need to notify Faherty immediately, or at least within 24 hours so they could submit an expedited claim and have the driver investigate. It is now 48 hours, multiple calls, chats with a useless AI bot, and I have not been contacted yet.

To have a company that cannot provide adequate, or in Fahertys’ case, any customer service at all, is ludicrous.

My recommendation to Faherty:
Your customer service is nonexistent. When customers seek help, forcing them to communicate with an AI chat bot that cannot assist is not helpful. It only causes frustration. Hire live people to address customer concerns!

At this point, I don’t even want the dress anymore, give me a refund. I have no faith in Faherty and the company is seeming to be a scam. There are many other vendors that treat customers well and are actually available to assist when issues arise.

Save yourself the heartburn….

Save yourself the heartburn….
and just don’t order from Faherty online. There’s zero customer support, literally zero. The “chat” is AI only. It repeatedly told me customer support would contact me. It’s now a week later and they haven’t. The phone number on the Contact Us link only refers you to email or FAQs. I emailed directly a week ago and again no response. It’s just not worth it.
