Meets the need

I purchased this product to manage three family loans of various sizes on behalf of my mother with Alzheimer's. I was impressed with the developer who responded very quickly when I had a question and actually deployed what turned out to be an enhancement. Hoping this application get's traction and stays around for the long run.

Managing three loans on someone else's behalf is exactly where a spreadsheet stops being good enough, and I'm glad it's holding up for you.

On your last point: I'm in it for the long run. And you're not locked in either way, every loan and its full payment history downloads as a PDF whenever you want it.
