Not sure what is going on with Farmstream as they were 5* but in the last two- three weeks we are not getting the service or responsiveness we used to . We have four cameras and only one is working correctly and despite numerous what’s apps we aren’t making any progress. It would be nice to talk to someone but no one rings us back . The problems have become urgent as we are about to start birthing and we need fully working cameras

I purchased the Ruralview 360 camera 4g over 2 years ago. I have no electric at my horses fields, so was told it would work perfectly on a 12V battery. All hooked up and working ok but very slow and had to heave the battery back home every week to charge it. Not ideal! So I spoke to Farmstream and they suggested I buy their Solar panel to attach to the camera. This worked ok when it was summer time and weighed around 25kg dimensions 1020mm x 670mm x 30mm. So not that easy to move about. After lots of going back and forwards to customer services as it wasn't serving consistent power to the camera very well. I sent it back and got a partial refund. I have had so many issues with the camera not working and faulty, the company would not refund me for the camera. If you have NO mains electric then this camera will not be sufficient, it struggles on the 12v battery alone. Only purchase if you have electric.

Brilliant cameras, great tech support and really easy to use. Very cost-effective for peace of mind. You get to speak to a real person if you need any help or advice. Superb.

At Doncaster Rowing Club we use a Farmstream 360 to monitor the river level on the River Don, the view of the river can be accessed by club members prior to setting off for the club on which for some are long journeys. We don’t have WiFi at the club so the 4g solution is perfect for us, a reliable quality video output available 24/7 to those who need it when they need it and all at a reasonable price (£60/year). A quality piece of kit, easy to install and set up with good customer support, I don’t ask for anything more!

Well worth the investment, it provides great coverage in our lambing shed. This camera enables us to closely monitor the pregnant ewes from the house without keep disturbing them in the shed and us walking up and down to the shed at all hours of the night. This is our second year with this camera and i can honestly say it as saved more than a few lambs, so paid for itself in the first season.

Easy to set up and provides really high quality images even when zooming in. We use our camera for lambing so only buy data for those months, you can pause subscriptions and then reactivate when you need to. The support desk are great, they will answer queries quickly and are polite and patient, even with a technophobe like me

Easy to fit,easy to setup and great quality. You can zoom in and nearly read the ewes tag number it’s that good. Would be lost without it now, great piece of mind being able to check while your doing other things round the farm. Example if fencing you don’t need to nip back you can just check your phone. 100% worth it’s money first lambing season with it and it’s saved many mix ups, or seeing a lamb coming out in sack and having to run out and it’s saved.

I’m overjoyed with my Farmstream camera, so much so I’ve ordered another one.
The fact you can just plug it in and set away from there was great for me in my cow shed. I initially purchased it for calving time but it lends itself as a great security camera in the yard too.
Excellent product and great technical support if needed.

Friendly and helpful team. Had a few teething problems with my camera but they were resolved very quickly with Farm Streams teams assistance.

I have had 4 of the wifi 360 cameras in use for a number of years now I use them to monitor a fold of highland cattle that calve outside. The zoom is fantastic for this purpose and the memory card recording is really useful for watching back footage to see if a new calf is up and drinking successfully, just leave a camera pointing where they are then check back the footage later. They all work really well. I have since installed the for my father in law too to monitor lambing and calving too. The app works really well on iPhone and iPad at home and even abroad. No hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Excellent service, always call you back if the phones are busy, very helpful, couldn't do more to be helpful. Would thoroughly recommend buying their product.

The Farmstream products are absolutely brilliant, so useful . where ever we are the cameras can be picked up , far better than other similar products, not only can we watch calving but make sure the calf is drinking and any problems, the visibility is so good and covers a big area , be lost without them now .

The cameras are worth every penny. An absolute god send when lambing and als for security around the farm. Yes I’ve had a few problems but what doesn’t. Bit of WD40 can work wonders. Overall very pleased. Especially the staff are very helpful

We have the 360 G4 great product, does what is says on the tin, we've have had one for years, works in all weathers, if it has a fault it can be over sensitive heavy rain can set it off, but you simply reset with you phone. Spares are cheap and sent by return, the speaker on ours went after 2 or 3 years continuous use, good product and company easy to deal with and very helpful.

I have 7 farmstream Cameras around my house , 4 x 360 and 3 static , best things I ever bought has I have no neighbors as I live at side of a wood and farm land.
Getting notifications on phone is great so I can check from anywhere and even speak to people if I'm not around, a must these days

I’ve owned this camera for four years and persevered through all of its many problems. Has not once lived up to the reviews that were online. The list of faults is many and I have finally confined it to the role of dummy camera and replaces it with something that works. Too cheap for a reason .

I bought 3 solar powered cameras and have been constantly disappointed since buying them. The support has been unhelpful and basically I think the main problem is that the panels simply do not provide enough power through the winter as suggested.
The panels are massive. Much bigger than they look in comparison to the camera on the picture. They also weigh an absolute tonne.
It wasn’t safe for us to install on poles using ladders so we had to hire a cherry picker which added almost £1,000 to the installation cost.
They have only been online around 30% of the time and I have done everything suggested. They are fully south facing at the correct 45 degree angle.

The zoom capability on the camera is good when you do get it online.

Also saving the images is an issue. It only stores them on the card so you need to ftp them locally if you want to retain them.

If the camera is not online you can not therefore view any captured images. So that’s a right pain. If someone manages to damaged the camera you would lose the footage so it seems a bit pointless.

If you need a solar solution then I would think again before committing to these. I have spent around £5,000 on the cameras, set up, new ladders, and paying people to come and reconnect them every time they go offline. It’s been a bit of a nightmare. I wish I hadn’t bought them and I am considering my options now as I think I’ve been misold.

We have a number of these products and they are great - clear pictures day and night, easy to set up and install and innovative with products to improve them over time.
What makes this even better is the service behind them, genuine people you can speak to and support you as needed. Have helped us quickly and efficiently a number of times, and ensured our security is maintained with their excellent products and support. Don't buy one - buy three, you won't be disappointed
