Just love the store and service

Friendly helpful staff, the quality is great and the order arrived at the shop quickly

I was kept informed of my order, the reason for four stars is because part of my order took longer than first expected.

We were greeted by a friendly lady when we visited on Friday 13th 2026. Other shops we visited didn't even say hello.

Good quality clothes for the money. Nice long sleeves and good proportions. Customer service was swift and professional.

Dear Customer Services Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your Winchester store regarding your exchange policy, which I believe creates unnecessary inconvenience.
I recently purchased black velvet trousers in size 10 online, collected in-store. This was the same size as my previous Fat Face trousers (corduroy, herringbone and denim styles), so I felt confident ordering without trying them on. However, this particular style runs larger than expected.
When I attempted to exchange them for size 8, I was informed that a direct swap was not possible. Instead, I was required to:
1. Buy the size 8 as a new transaction
2. Return with my original payment card to process a refund for the size 10
3. Wait 5 working days for the credit

The staff member who served me was dismissive, stating only "that's our rules - sorry" before moving to the next customer without explanation. This left me feeling undervalued.
Upon returning the following week to complete this cumbersome process, another employee explained this exists to prevent stock discrepancies between your warehouse and store systems. While I understand the operational reasoning, customers should not bear the burden of managing your inventory challenges through duplicate transactions.
Furthermore, I have discovered that online and in-store purchases have different return policies, adding complexity to what should be a straightforward shopping experience.
This situation has significantly impacted my confidence in shopping with Fat Face. A simple size exchange has become complicated, prioritizing internal systems over customer satisfaction.
I would appreciate your response regarding whether these procedures might be reviewed to better serve your clientele's needs.

Ordering and collection was very simple and the product the quality you come to expect from FatFace

Nice product, good price in the sale.
Had to visit the store twice to pick up my parcel. Despite I got a text message that my order has arrived in the store - it was not there. Second time it took a while to find my order in the system…..
But the parcel was there at last.
