Tally Pro Scale died after 30mins.

Bought Fellow Tally Pro Studio Digital Coffee Scale

Tested it out for 30 mins then plugged it in to top up the battery to full so as I plugged it in the battery indicator came on for 2 sec then went off I wanted to see the charge level while its in so re plugged it in and the screen went dead tried for an hour to turn it on it wont turn on. I left it plugged in for an hour and it is still dead. It wasn't wet as I was very careful seeing as its brand new. Amazon refunding it, Warning to others its supposed to last over a month before it needs a charge so many will find out it dies on charge after its too late to return for a refund. So if you just bought one plug it in now.

Fellow custmer service wass amazing

I have been a avid user of Fellows products for several years, and never had a single issue with their products, never had a need to use customer service until I did.

I was presently surprised at the speed and response I received to make things right, truly a great company that takes their customer service seriously, I'll continue to purchase their products and support their company

Amazing customer service

My Ode Gen 2 has a stuck burr housing screw, and in my attempts to loosen the screw, I just damaged it more. First, I took the grinder to the retailer who sold it to me in the first place - they wouldn't help. So, as a last resort, I messaged Fellow. They shipped me a new grinder. Easy peasy. Fellow definitely earned themselves a life-long customer.

terrible customer service with my wholesale order

I normally love their products but I tried placing a custom order to sell at my shop and the customer service has been terrible. The products are expensive and you would think at that price point that the customer service would be better. The mockup process was terrible, and it took weeks of revisions to get the files placed properly, and then once it was in production the delivery date got pushed back a full month and no one reached out to me to tell me of the delay. I had to reach out a week after i was supposed to receive the order to see what was going on. They offered nothing as a way of apologizing for the delay.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Bought mine in 2021 we don’t use it for coffee i just got it because of the rave reviews. So saying that we use probably 1-3 times a month. Guess what. It stopped working all of a sudden. I emailed customer support and they say it was out of warranty and they can only offer 10% off. what the hell. why would i want to buy another one when I know the one i got stopped working with minimum usage. stop playing. you can keep your 10%. trash product. and trash company who don’t stand by their products. buyers beware!

Terrible Support experience

I have a Fellow Carter mug which I like very much however the coating has started peeling off.

Support from Fellow has been zero. No acknowledgement of their obligations under UK consumer law, just repeatedly point to US website and state that the warranty is only 30 days and after that you’re on your own. No interest in rectifying the issue. It’s like talking to a brick wall.

Very very disappointed as I like the look of their products. The reality however is different; in my case there’s a pretty straightforward quality issue, and instead of making it right Fellow just fobbed me off.

Had hoped to buy two more mugs (as gifts) and a grinder
 after this experience will never buy from them again.

Opus Grinders

I found it odd, when reviewing the Website FAQs, when the question was asked what the unit was made of. Although the word plastic was not used, it really did not mention in particular what the Materials were. Now I suppose that the use of plastics is warranted for some parts but not for the cradle holding the rotating Burrs as they smash coffee beans into powder. NO BRAINER.

Such as it was the three supports were ripped from the interior structure, also plastic, and were spinning freely yet doing absolutely nothing. The unit takes beans, so is it's construction not suitable for the task at hand?

What a shame, as the unit itself is visually 5 STAR. I am usually only somewhat frustrated when this happens, but more so as i'd like it to last a tad longer than 3 months. I really liked the unit yet expected the performance to be far superior at the price point it retails for.

The retailer where I purchased the unit from, well I was directed to the repair department of a completely different company. I resubmitted the issue to Fellow by email but the response was that it would take some considerable time to get back to me. It had already been close to three weeks to get to this stage and interjected, to which Fellow did respond to almost immediately.

My preference would have been to take a refund and as i pointed out, a replacement was not satisfactory, as investing a few more toonies would present some metal options. A store credit was all that was possible. I don't believe in the product and after dropping over $300.00 on BARBIE'S DREAM HOUSE CAFE COLLECTION, it was the only resolution. An upgrade was not even acceptable, something that had the potential of lasting longer than the boiling time of a stove top kettle. An all aluminum alternative is expected this week, and paid more for something i was able to try out first hand. There are many out there that will consider higher pricing to get what they want for something that will last.

The store credit I tempted to spend, well the site would not take my mailing address, way up here in Canada, eh, so nothing was ordered. Will have to see that all works out.

Really, it is a shame, with such striking design, but more focus on the product and less on coffee culture is what is needed here, and when something screws up, own up and fix it instead of leaving the client with the overall sense that they were ripped off. In these times, no one wants to spend their cash on something less desirable or not wanting in the first place, nor want to expend large amounts of time in resolving a transaction that is unreasonably beyond what was promised.

There are enough reviews here to indicate that there are some issues that could be addressed. Good Luck!

Support is non-existent

I made my first order and immediately realized that I ordered the wrong mug. I tried to contact their support in order to swap it out or cancel so that I could reorder. There was no phone number to call and no support to chat with. Just email and it took them 2 days to respond with "Sorry, your order has already been shipped)". On top of that they charge return shipping. I most certainly won't be ordering from them again.

fellow’s customer service a disappointment!

I actually really like my two fellow coffee bean containers that have a lid that turns and sucks out the air in the canister.
One of my tops stopped indicating when the air was fully removed as the small button became stuck in the downward position at all times.
Fellow customer support asked me to provide a bill/ proof of purchase which I then did.
They got back to me and said my product was beyond the 30 day warranty period and I could purchase a replacement part.
The part is 10.00 but the shipping to me in Canada is an additional 13.00 usd !
Fellow would not wave the shipping.
I AM NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE COMPANY OR WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I’m on my second EKG Pro kettle

I’m on my second EKG Pro kettle. Needlessly complicated. A wifi connected kettle? All it needs to do is heat the water and hold the temp. I had an Oxo kettle that did that just fine, and much cheaper. The replacement kettle refuses to connect to my wifi, the timer function works intermittently, and the temperature fluctuates. My opinion? A waste of money.

FELLOW PROSUCT DON"T PERFORM

i have a Fellow Ode 2 grinder that jams and requires me to wack it hard every time it is used to unjam it
REALLY?? ON A ALMOST $400 MACHINE?? I also have a fellow coffee air tight storage container that does not stay airtight, and coffee mug that does not keep coffee hot.
Fellow products are great looking..but the suck at function!

Fellow products are nice but bad return service

Fellow products are nice. But they wanted to make cheap money. I ordered some mug $150 worth hoping to use them. But I did not like as much and wanted to return some and get different fellow products but the return process is a hell. Felt like they intentionally made it harder so that I can’t return them.
Listen fellow I was initially to buy your products and recommended to my friends but now I feel like you guys little care little I spend $ 600 dollar 
.I bought a grinder, ekg kettle and 5 move mugs.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. A $200 white kettle was purchased only 4 months ago. The lid has already turned yellow but Fellows comment is that it is something ‘to be expected with white products’.

The product still is in warranty but it looks like a warranty is worthless from this company.

Unresponsive, bewildering customer service

Fellow shipped a grinder via GLS. Prior to arrival in my city, GLS marked it "shipment damaged" and "failure". They delivered it anyway; the box pierced through to inner cartons.

"Customer support" means sending emails into the ether and then get a link to re-explain yourself in an RMA form. You print the label at your own expense.

I dropped off the damaged grinder to UPS on December 8. Rather than ship a replacement, non-damaged item, they simply gave me a store credit to self-serve. But, since I purchased using a friends referral code, and that's one-time only, I couldn't re-buy the item at the original price. I emailed "support" immediately.

On Dec 10, Fellows says "Rest assured we are on top of this for you".

It is Dec 14 and there is no response. What's so difficult here? Your own shipper marked the item as damaged! I guess pre-damaged items by your shipper are within brand spec?

You charge a premium for your products. Hire one more support person. Your company clearly can't keep up with its own sales volume. You've managed to turn a referral code into a liability.

Update: All's well that ends well. (Fellow Mugs)

Mistakes happen!
A company's true personality is in how they address issues.

I ordered 4 mugs from Fellow after falling for low level UTube reviewers pitch.

In the future I will stick with reviews from long established, known and trusted reviewers before purchasing anything!

I am sure Fellow Mugs will work for many folks and I wish them the very best.

They did not work for me. I found it initially impossible to reach them to return their products. Their use of "Zendesk" in my experience is a BIG Negative! But it is their choice.

I only received a response after emailing Fellow directly.
an address not easily attainable in my experience. But one I found actually produced an avenue to a solution.

As Trust Pilot does not allow sharing email addresses I cannot share Fellow's address. But checking the address of their review our product email will get you there.

In the end Fellow honored its return policy with a full refund. I suspect "Zendesk" as the issue with no response to my early requests & give Fellow a pass on not responding. As when directly contacted they were honest and efficient.

My issue with their mugs was the lid gasket. Had it been properly installed & not simply laying inside the mug. I would not have noticed what I perceive as a possible health issue. In my perspective.

As previously stated I am sure Fellow mugs will work perfectly for many and wish them all the best.
