Finest Book Publishers – generally strong on formatting, but keep control of your accounts and be cautious about the extras
There are many good points about Finest Book Publishers, particularly when a project is progressing well. I found them responsive, helpful and capable of producing high-quality, professional formatting. They were also very supportive in helping me understand the process of self-publishing and uploading books to KDP and IngramSpark.
There were, however, some areas where I felt greater caution was needed.
I was disappointed that the likely production cost of a colour illustrated book was not made clear early enough. In the end, I had to revert to black and white to make the book commercially viable.
I also found them quite persistent about offering to publish and upload books on my behalf, which would require access to my KDP and IngramSpark accounts. I allowed this for my first book, which was then published under their name. Since then, I have preferred to retain full control of my own publishing accounts and have not shared access again.
On another occasion, I agreed to purchase 10 copies of a book for them to take to a book fair. I understood from the written agreement that I would receive feedback or a report from those to whom the books were presented. No such report was produced, and I was later told this was not something they provided. The evidence I was shown of the book at the event also left me unconvinced.
I would also be cautious about their marketing services. I found the sales approach quite pushy, particularly from one US-based marketing representative, and felt there was more emphasis on selling the package than listening to what I actually wanted. In my view, the marketing packages appeared expensive and high-risk, and I chose not to proceed.
That said, the core formatting service has been successful. Finest Book Publishers have now professionally formatted four of my books, and I have been pleased with the standard of that work. Alex Smith, Assistant Project Manager, was particularly helpful, responsive and easy to work with.
My overall view is that if you know what you want, retain control of your KDP and IngramSpark accounts, and use them primarily for formatting rather than wider marketing services, they can do a very good job. On that basis, I would probably use them again. If you are happy to let them do it all then they are very capable of that too.

Honestly speaking I am an indie author and I was unable to publish my book on platforms such as, Amazon, Barnes and nobles etc but then I find finest book publisher and then the heavy lifting for me and my books are published on both platforms.

They got me an ISBN for my book and they publish my book on amazon, I like their team. They have done a lot of work for my book.

This company is brilliant! From the very first phone call, and throughout the whole process, I have never felt pressured or stressed. The project manager has been incredibly patient and supportive with constant communication. Even giving precise times when he would phone. I have always felt that it was my own book, but received really encouraging support and advice. My next book (or two) will definitely be published with them.

I’ve now worked with Finest Book Publisher on three published books, all of which became worldwide bestsellers, and I currently have two more books in editing with them, plus another manuscript almost ready to send over.

Although they aren’t a traditional publisher, they are the team behind the scenes who transform my manuscripts into professional books. I send them what are essentially story scripts with plenty of grammar issues, and they take care of everything from editing, cover design, formatting, creating a beautiful finished book, and uploading it to Amazon KDP and Ingram. I genuinely wouldn’t know where to start without them.

My first project manager was Amy, who was fantastic. As a first time author, I had endless questions, and she was always patient, supportive, and quick to respond. For my next two books, and the two currently in editing, I’ve worked with Jason, who has been equally brilliant. Communication is always excellent, I’m kept updated throughout the process, and they’re always happy to offer advice whenever I need it.

One of the main reasons I’ve stayed with Finest Book Publisher is their ability to keep up with my fast paced publishing schedule. My stories are driven by my online community within my social media presence, so I needed a company that could work quickly without compromising quality. They’ve consistently delivered exactly that.

They make every book look polished and professional, and they’ve allowed me to focus on what I love most writing and connecting with my readers online. I honestly don’t believe I would have achieved three worldwide bestselling books without their expertise, dedication, and support. I have found my experience with this company to be very positive. Elijah answers any of my queries straight away and has been extremely helpful. This whole process is new to me but I have been led carefully through the steps I needed to take. I am also grateful to the designers who designed the cover and the editors for their hard work. I’ve had the best experience ever with Finest book publishers especially compared to some other companies that I won’t mention. My book is still in the process of being published, but the service etc with Elijah allows me to realise that everything will be okay.

This company is honestly great for people who want detailed and high quality finished articles. They really display what your thinking very well onto the covers and the writing in general. I genuinely would not be able to finish or properly write my book without the assistance of this company.

After the money I spent I found myself doing much of the work I had paid a publisher to do. Poor communication, missed deadlines, assurances given, promises made, editorial errors, and endless chasing for updates and constant delays I eventually removed my book myself and self-published directly through Amazon. Little to no customer service (especially once they had received full payment). They do not care about the client or the client experience.

Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

I've been messing about with self-publishing for ages, and nothing really stuck until I gave Finest Book Publishers a go. And honestly? They were brilliant. These people sorted everything, everything means everything from proper editing that caught more than just typos (they actually helped the story flow), and the cover they cooked up? Gorgeous. My book finally looked like it belonged on a real shelf, not some dodgy DIY job.

The did good work. They proof read my book and publish it on amazon.

Yes, they did the editing and pre-publication support but as soon as the book was published I was on my own.
Repeated emails asking for assistance and information were ignored.
Calls not returned. Totally abandoned and completely unacceptable.
Passed from one person to another. Promises broken. They provided zero support.
Since I published this review I’ve come under a lot of pressure from Finest to remove it…….. what does that say? They don’t want to accept negative feedback and learn from it. They want to bury it.

Publishing a book is a fraught experience especially if, like me, you are a technophobe, but FBP were a model of patience and understanding throughout. The finished book proved satisfactory in many ways, although (minor quibble) I would have liked a few complimentary copies!

The team did a wonderful job. There were a few minor delays and hiccups, but the end result was really worth it.
