From my first phone to Fireplace-Fitters I found them to be very helpful & professional. Appointment made, confirmed by email & time of visit later received with a phone call.
Engineer Kai arrived on time & it was quickly evident that he was well qualified, friendly & sorted out the issues with our Barbas Fire.
Would recommend this Company & definitely use them in future.

Ordered a gas stove directly from Fireplace fitters. They were marvellous on the day, very knowledgeable and experienced. They installed the entire fireplace, with hearth and surround to the exact specification we asked. Excellent customer service from Gemma and Amy whenever I needed to ask a question.

Not an easy install for these guys and although they had to come back for round 2 of installation, there were no complaints and a can-do attitude. Chimney swept from years worth of nests, pot and cap installed on chimney, and a beautiful stove installed with limestone surround. Love the result. Thank you.

I was recommended to Fireplace Fitters and have found them to be first rate in every aspect of our dealings. From the initial survey/inspection by Jordan, who was knowledgeable, patient (I’m a “stove novice”, with lots of questions) and friendly, through to many exchanges with Gemma about technical queries, cost options and supply arrangements, their expertise and professionalism has shone through. The day of fitting went smoothly. My installation team were on time, meticulous and thorough. The installation went smoothly, my marble fire surround, slate hearth and Dik Geurts stove all installed perfectly. Paul and Stephan did a great job, were friendly, explained how to commission the stove for the first few burns and what to watch out for as a stove novice. I have already recommended the team to a neighbour.

From start to finish the team at Fireplace-Fitters were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. From the first contact in the office to the boys fitting our beautiful fireplace, their professionalism exceeded my expectations. Thank you for making the process seamless :)

We were really unhappy with the service we were provided by this company. We were spending 3.5 thousand pounds on our fireplace but after paying the deposit we decided to get a refund as Gemma spoke to us extremely rudely throughout the process of the job which resulted in an argument over the phone. Very unprofessional and wouldn't recommend.

Extremely satisfied with fireplace fitters service and their team. There was very good and clear communication from start to finish. The team that fitted the wood burner were friendly and approachable. They gave me lots of tips and suggestions on the running of my new wood burner, and what type of wood to use.
They were also good value for money, I had 3 quotes and they were definitely the more affordable one.

Gemma was very responsive to emails and helpful in advising us on a range of stove options that could work for us at a competitive price. Gemma worked around our schedule and managed to coordinate installation much earlier than expected. The team were excellent on the day - all the work has been completed to a very high standard. We are delighted with our new stove and would highly recommend Fireplace Fitters!

Great customer service, Gemma was really helpful and made the booking process easy! The guys who came to fit were great- very clean and tidy and knowledgeable.

I always say that you really know how good something is when something goes wrong. There was a little hiccup with my fitting due to the manufacturer and not Fireplace Fitters but it was Fireplace Fitters that sorted everything out. They were absolutely superb from start to finish. The communication and organisation was excellent. Wonderful job!

I have used fireplace fitters since 2012 and they have fitted a variety of stoves and open fires for me. Just done a stove in Richmond this time - efficient, tidy and great finish as always. Amy and Gemma in the office always super helpful and always willing to do a little video tour of what’s in stock if you are unsure on which product to go for

I found Fireplace Fitters on Google. I have a MultiGlow Classic 2 coal effect gas fire that was installed over 20 years ago.

My normal local service engineer had failed to rectify a hissing sound that I had to remedy for myself. He was also unable to provide a new white mat to lay the artificial coals on or new artificial coals. Both the mat and coals were disintegrating.

Fireplace Fitters came on 19 October 2023. There was a 2 man team. They did a thorough job on servicing the fire which I couldn’t get to work. They replaced the mat and artificial coals and the fire is now working perfectly. The work didn’t come cheap but, on speaking to my normal gas engineer, having kept his price the same for many years, he told me that his price for such a service, has now doubled!

I was also sent a Gas Safety Certificate following the work.

My only criticism is that I was promised an email to notify me of when the engineers would call. I never received the email and had to call Amy in their office to find out their estimated time of arrival.

Otherwise, a great job!

We just used Fireplace Fitters to remove a gas fire and replace with electric fire. Excellent service from start to finish, very pleased with the final result, highly recommend

We were recommended Fireplace Fitters by Zigi Freplaces as it was proving difficult to find someone with the relevant experience who could install the fireplace surround we had purchased from a third party supplier.

Fron the outset, the communication from Gemma at Fireplace Fitters was excellent. We received a very detailed quotation with lots of additional options we hadn't even thought about!

We were interested in purchasing the Gazco Chesterfield 5 Electric fire to complement the fireplace. As Fireplace Fitters work with such a large range of suppliers, Gemma was able to obtain an even better price that I had seen online, which was fantastic :)

Our fitters on the day of installation were Paul and Stefan who were brilliant. With so many years of experience between them, they were able with install the fireplace with ease. They were also on time, very tidy and the end result was perfection.

It's so reassuring to work with a company who specialise in the fitting of fireplaces as someone with less experience may have took a lot longer and I don't think the results would have been as good.

Thank you Gemma, Paul and Stefan you all deserve five stars and I would definitely recommend Fireplace Fitters witout hesitation to anyone that needs a fireplace fitted.

Engaging with The Fireplace Fitters from the outset was very positive. They didn’t come across as just wanting a sale. Instead, they seemed to be really interested in what we wanted and then provided us with a range of options. When it came to measuring up, the team were very polite and keen not to be intrusive. Likewise when it came to delivery and fitting. The two guys that can to fit the fire surround were very polite and professional. They fitted the stone surround very quickly and they didn’t leave any mess at all. The finished surround looks amazing. As such, I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely family run business.

Since we originally contacted Fireplace-Fitters back in May our whole experience from ordering to having a replacement gas fire fitted went smoothly. Amy, has been very helpful throughout and been able to find answers to any questions we raised. We have no hesitation in recommending company.
