On the below date i placed a order from Fireplaces 4 Life Ltd
(placed on October 27, 2020 1:02:30 PM GMT), on the web site stated in Stock which it was not, delivery 7-14 days No, received gas fire on the19th November e-mail communication from the company zero the only good thing i would say about this company is its prices.

To say disappointed in their customer service would be an understatement. Having previously purchased from Fireplaces4life, I called to place my £1400 order for a fireplace, this was due to delivery to N. Ireland and their website being unable to deal with this. The sales agent charged me the fireplace cost, less 5% discount for repeat business but plus £180 for delivery which was excessive but I agreed. Fast forward 2 weeks from placing order;

Received a call from an agent called Sam, looking another £160 paid or else I could cancel the order. I explained the above but he wasn’t interested, asked to speak with his line manager (Pete) who wasn’t there. Proceeded to go on companies House, find the directors names and proceeded to write a complaint about my service and ask that the order be viewed,

Pete responded, there was a mistake and he’d deal with it. 4 days later, no response so I emailed again to be told that the price went up and they wouldn’t honor the price, either pay up or cancel order. Thankfully order cancelled and a few minutes on Google Shopping found 3 other companies with the same fireplace cheaper, I chose Flames and including delivery have saved £170 from my original order with Fireplaces4life. There was another company even less expensive with almost 1000 positive reviews on Trustpilot but unfortunately they don’t ship to N. Ireland.

Lessons learned 1) use google shopping, 2) use trust pilot

Ordered a fireplace for next day delivery, been over a week still not delivered tried the phone numbers on their Web page (no answer) want to know where my fireplace is?????!!

I have ordered an electric fire from Fireplaces4Life as backup for storage heaters in my elderly mothers’ new flat.
The item arrived well packaged and very promptly.
I am yet to have it working but feel confident if there are any problems I will receive good service to sort out

Best competitive price I could find and delivered in a reasonable time.

Quick delivery and product fine.

After sales enquiry not dealt with. I asked a simple question about the colour of the wax used on a wooden surround but was fobbed off and told to contact manufacture.

Otherwise all OK.

The measurements advertised are wrong so need to contact this company for the fire to be returned No telephone operators are available and have been waiting for a response via email. So unprofessional

The fire is okay,but not bright enough. I have ordered some red glass stones to give it a better glow.

Email received from sage confirming the payment but no email from fireplace4life confirming receipt or stating delivery date.

Giving 4 star’s simply because was a bit slow in responding to emails sent , when answered was very prompt in replying, but fire suite amazing a beautiful item went plesed

Really wish I had read these reviews before buying a fire from this company.
I would have rated no star if I had that option. Customer service is absolutely appalling.
They delivered the wrong fire, expected us to pay for the return of it and are keeping us over a barrel for the refund.
The guy I corresponded with via telephone and email was nothing but condescending.
Terrible company, no wonder its called fires4life because your stuck with it no matter what.

Fire arrived and was fitted by a Gas Safety Fitter, There was a fault with the ignition and it wasn't working. Contacted Fires4Life and immediately told that because the fire was fitted I had to contact Be Modern, two line email. I felt it was totally irresponsible of them because a fire is fitted they do not deal with my enquiry. I purchased the fire from them, the Gas Safety Fitter gave them the fault details and as far I was concerned they should have taken responsibility and contacted Be Modern on my behalf.
In total contrast Be Modern telephoned me the same day I sent the email and and without question the replacement part is being delivered today. Now that's customer service and I am happy with my Be Modern fire.

Good web-site and selection of fires. Ordered Sunday - delivered Wednesday. Excellent.

Awful customer service. Informed fire had been despatched when in truth it was out of stock. No contact from company after supposed delivery date and we had to chase them about it, only to be told then that it was not in stock and would not be available for several weeks. Not impressed. Not recommended.

You waited for a week to tell us that the item we purchased was not actually in stock and this was because we chased you not vice versa, resulting in us having to cancel the installer at the last moment. On top of which you claim you sent an email sooner but there is none in my regular emails, nor spam, nor junk.
