5 stars for bus driver Jeff - clear communication and great service. The only issue is that we were never told my First Charter that our payment didn't go through. It would have been nice to have heard this sooner.

We were charged in full and our bus never showed. the phone numbers provided went straight to voicemail or didn't work at all. do not use this service.

We rented a bus for a church youth group evening event. We had multiple stops and a tight timeline. We were able to get to all our places as needed and on time. It was great to not have to organize multiple drivers, to have everyone in the same place, and rely on the bus to drive us around. Additionally, the youth thought it was fun to ride a bus. It was our bus drivers first route, she did great and got more confident as the evening went.

The communication on the booking end took a lot of follow up on my end and checking in, but if you stay on top of it, its great. For example I was sent a bid but wasn't instructed how to make the bid into a contract until I called. Once I said we wanted to go ahead with the rental, it was then that I learned that the bid is contingent upon a bus yard accepting the job. And once the job was accepted by the bus yard, I wasn't informed or sent a final confirmation until I called and followed up. But everyone I talked to was knowledgeable and friendly.

We look forward to renting school buses for future events.

The itinerary for the entire day was messed up from the very first route. I had been on the phone with the dispatch the day before the journey to triple check all details and somehow they were entirely wrong the following day. The driver delivered the first passengers to the venue 40 minutes late because he went to an extra stop that was not scheduled for that ride. Then he was so late for the next group that those people had to drive themselves. Then on the way back in the evening, one of the groups that was just 15 minutes away from the venue was stuck on the bus a full hour. And the worst part was at the very end of the night, the bus didn't even show up for the final pick up. The wedding party at the end of the night waited 20 minutes and then had to find another way home.

We used First Charter for wedding guest transport. The process for booking and getting quotes was easy. And the booking staff and driver were friendly, responsive, and professional. A great experience!

Steve the bus driver was AMAZING for our wedding night! He went above + beyond for anything we needed! Everyone loves a school bus, especially bringing back any memories from growing up, so it was so fun to have First Charter be our charter choice for our wedding!
