Kevin was at our start point on time and was very pleasant and helpful all through the trip. The bus was clean inside and out. It was difficult in the beginning to get the first reservationist to understand that we were doing a tour of historic sites in Omaha, but eventually the last woman was extremely helpful and did a marvelous job. Sorry, can't remember her name. If we do this next year, we will surely use First Student.

The service was excellent, from making the reservation to the day of our event.
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. I booked a school bus for a party over three months ago. I had the dates right I received an email confirmation. 7° weather and 40 people waiting outside, the school bus DID NOT SHOW UP. I called when the bus was 10 minutes late. I did not receive a call back as I was told I would, so I called back again after another 10 minutes had passed and was then told that there was "a miscommunication with the driver". They said they could have a bus there in 45 minutes. So that would mean one hour of 40 people standing outside in 7° weather. For obvious reasons, this was not an option. In the end, we had to ask everyone to carpool to a destination that was 45 minutes away. Everyone had already paid to ride on the school bus, which was how this event was promoted. How embarrassing when I was the one who set this up for 40 other people!Very disappointed in this service. They did refund me my money after I called to tell them that the bus did not show up. They did not even seem to be aware of that. I was told that I would get a callback from a manager, which I never did. Awful customer service. Save yourself a headache. Do not use these guys.
Was told I'd have seatbelts, but nope.
I asked for a seatbelt bus and the one that arrived did not have seatbelts. I had called the day before and was assured that a seatbelt bus would be provided. When I asked the bus driver she said that you didn't even have seatbelt buses, which I know you do because we got one last year. I called the office and she told me that the seat belt bus just happened to break down that morning. Two of my preschoolers ended up not going on the field trip due to this.

The driver was on time and delivered the students to and from the field trip location safely.

I received a call (the day before I expected the bus to show up) saying that you couldn't provide a bus.
Then, the morning of, I'm loading alternative vehicles for the event. There was the bus on the front steps.
(...after I've spent the last 24-48 hours killing myself trying to manage transportation for our event...)
I went and spoke to the bus driver who said that they couldn't use the SAME bus in the morning vs. afternoon shuttle, but that they COULD provide a bus. She explained it was a miscommunication between the bus providers and the people who handle the bookings. By this time, it was too late to be of any use for my event.
Also, none of that reflected the information I was provided the day before by the booking company.
I don't know what kind of communication obstacle between you two there was, but it was extremely unprofessional and left us in a very difficult situation.
Now, all of this could happen once and be understandable, but from what I understand from my colleagues who use your company for other (and more frequent) kinds of events than mine, this is a common problem that happens all the time with your company.
Sudden Stops and Hard Breaking
We had several reports from our guests that the male driver was purposefully braking hard and making sudden stops. Guests were slammed into the back of seats. Purses slid. My mother in law thought she was going to have a black eye. The hard braking and sudden stops also broke the glasses of another guest when she hit the seat. The driver yelled at guests to be quiet for the railroad stop and mentioned that he gets paid by the hour and could sit there all day waiting. This driver should not take on wedding shuttle jobs if he cannot work with adults or adults who have been drinking alcohol at a celebratory event. We were disappointed in this service and afraid for our guests, and embarrassed they were treated poorly.
Stranded on our wedding night
We were supposed to have a bus pick us up from our wedding venue 12a. The bus never showed up and we were left stranded with our belongings and wedding party at our venue 20+ miles from our hotel. Our guests and everyone else left at that time and it was too late to catch a ride. The answering service offered no help and just stated that they would call us back. There was no offer to help us get where we needed to go. We paid in full for a service was never delivered and were stranded at the end of our wedding night.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I requested a bus for a business event 6 weeks in advance and received multiple confirmations. FIVE DAYS before the event, I received a call saying the bus had been confirmed by mistake and was not actually available because of not enough drivers. This is totally unacceptable. Also, every time I called this company I was on hold forever. Do NOT use this company if you want actual follow-through!

The only part that was difficult was when I called to confirm the trip details with our local carrier a week out from the event, they said they wouldn't have details until a couple days ahead. I know this is just standard operating procedure there, but it made it hard to confirm details in advance.
