Bus driver was very good but I had to direct her to the destination, which is not really my job
Overall good experience
Overall good experience, but was concerned on our return trip as the 4th bus was 35 minutes late due to not having fuel. The dispatcher was resistant to speaking with me directly, but eventually allowed one of the drivers to give me her number in case the bus didn't show so that we could get the other busses going back. The trip outbound was great, just hiccups with the return trip. Would use services again and would rate 3.5 stars if that was possible.

Why I gave First Charter 3 stars instead of 5 (and it wasn't because of the dirvers)
I used First Charter Bus Rental 2 days in a row. The drivers were fantastic to work with and I really appreciate the care they took in transporting our group to/from downtown Chicago.
My issue - and the reason they only get 3 stars instead of 5 - is their back office operations. It takes FOREVER to get through to someone on the phone. If you leave a message or put yourself in the queue, it can take 24-48 hours for someone to get back to you.
There is NO ONE to talk to if there is a last minute change (i.e. Cubs game got rained out and had to make alternate plans) and forget about getting hold of anyone on the weekends. I left a message on Saturday and it took until Wednesday for someone to get back to me.
I was charged for buses with a/c but neither bus that showed up had a/c - thankfully it wasn't super hot both days but it was muggy - a/c would have been nice - or we should have been told.
One bus was confirmed weeks before the day of rental, but the second bus was only confirmed two days before the day of rental?
Like I began - the drivers were great - safe, careful and friendly. But something needs to be done about their customer service.

My students said to give the bus company and the bus driver 300 STARS!!!!!! The bus was fabulous and clean!!! The bus driver was bar none!!!! She was an excellent driver and the kids enjoyed her immensely!!! They loved the music that was played and it made the bus ride FOREVER MEMORABLE...she was the absolute best!!!! What did it for me, in regards to our designated bus driver...she was genuinely engaged with the students...they loved her!!!!

Bus drivers were prepared
Bus drivers were prepared, available before pick up and drop of time, courteous, and pleasant. First student office staff was the same.
The driver showed up 45 minutes late
The driver showed up 45 minutes late. We had detailed out for the bus to arrive at the hotel to pick up guest to bring to our ceremony at 4:15pm and leave for the ceremony at 4:30 sharp! 4:35 came along and my guest were reaching out to myself and my bride 25 minutes before we were to walk down the aisle. All the guests ordered Ubers or Lyfts and as the last guest got into their Uber at 4:50 the bus pulled up. There was no communication that the driver was running behind. Since there was lack of communication all our guest ordered Ubers and Lyfts to make sure they were on time for our Wedding Ceremony. This did not leave a good feeling for us and we’re very disappointed with the lack of communication. The trip after the reception to the hotel was a different story, positive.
