Visited after searching for a pair of new carp rods online.Shop had a terrific deal and I bought 2 rods for what one would have cost elsewhere.
Crying shame shop closes in August

Popped into the local Fishing Republic (Crewe) and spoke to Paul (Hooky) about rig mechanics. He advised me what I needed and even took time out of his break to tie it so I could see how it works. Very rare you find this level of customer service these days. The knowledge of the lads in that shop is second to none.

Always got the boilie stops you need. Great service.

Visited the store at Lakemore fisheries near Crewe. Nick in the store was so helpful and spent around an hour with me and my son . Demonstrating tackle and advising . We cannot thank Nick enough for his help. If you want the personal touch then visit a shop instead of online . It's priceless

THINKING THEY WERE A SMALL INDEPENDENT COMPANY, I ORDERED A SLEEPING BAG FROM THEM. I PAID EXTRA FOR THEIR NEXT DAY DELIVERY. MONEY WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT BUT I NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THEM ACKNOWLEDGING MY ORDER. THE BAG NEVER CAME THE NEXT DAY, SUNDAY, SO ON THE MONDAY I CALLED THEM. THEY SAID THEY'D HAD TROUBLE WITH THE COMPUTERS OVER THE WEEKEND AND WOULD SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH THE ORDER NUMBER, ETC. IT NEVER CAME AND STILL HASN'T. THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T DELIVER ON A SUNDAY. I REPLIED THAT THIS SHOULD BE MENTIONED IN THEIR ADVERT. THEY REIMBURSED ME THE EXTRA MONEY I'D PAID ON POSTAGE. THEY PROMISED THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT EVRI AND IT WOULD BE DELIVERED ON TUESDAY. GUESS WHAT? YES, IT NEVER CAME THEN EITHER. CALLED THEM AGAIN, SAME THING, TERRIBLY SORRY, THEY WOULD TEXT AND CALL ME REGARDING WHEN IT WOULD BE DELIVERED. THURSDAY ARRIVED, 5 DAYS AFTER I HAD ORDERED THE BAG, AND I HAD STILL NOT HAD AN EMAIL ACKNOWLEDGING MY PURCHASE OR ANY UPDATES AS TO WHEN I WAS LIKELY TO RECEIVE IT. I SAID THAT I'D HAD ENOUGH AND WOULD LIKE ALL MY MONEY REIMBURSED AND THAT I WOULD BUY THE SAME BAG FROM A SHOP CALLED GO OUTDOORS, 2 OF WHICH WERE WITHIN 5 MILES OF WHERE I LIVE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO THIS AND THAT ACTUALLY THEY WERE PART OF THE GO OUTDOORS GROUP. I SAID COULD THEY ARRANGE WITH THE LOCAL SHOP TO SELL ME THE SAME BAG FOR THE ONLINE PRICE AS AN ACT OF GOODWILL. THEY SAID YES. I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND WITHIN MILLISECONDS MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT HAD RECEIVED THE REFUND AND EVRI SENT ME AN EMAIL TO SAY THEIR DELIVERY HAD BEEN CANCELLED!! SO THEY CAN WORK QUICKLY IF THEY NEED TO. I ASKED WHY THEY NEVER TEXTED /EMAILED/CALLED ME OVER THE 5 DAYS AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THEY REPLIED THAT AS NOTHING HAD HAPPENED IT WASN'T WORTH IT. I SAID THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN POLITE TO HAVE TOLD ME THAT.
SO, I WENT OFF TO THE GO OUTDOORS SHOP AND PURCHASED A BAG FOR THE ONLINE PRICE. THE MANAGER ASKED WHAT HAD BEEN THE TROUBLE WITH FISHING REPUBLIC AND LAUGHED, YES, LAUGHED AT ALL THE TROUBLE I HAD ENDURED. I SAID I DID NOT THINK IT WAS FUNNY. TO ORDER A BAG ON SATURDAY WITH A GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD BE DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY AND 5 DAYS LATER IT STILL HADN'T ARRIVED, I HAD TO MAKE ENDLESS CHASING UP PHONE CALLS AND THEN HAD TO DRIVE TO ONE OF THEIR STORES, WAS NOT FUNNY. HE APOLOGISED AND SAID IT WASN'T MY TALE OF WOE HE WAS LAUGHING AT BUT SOMETHING ELSE. REALLY?!?!
BEWARE! NEVER BUY FROM THIS HIGHLY DISORGANISED, RUDE, INCAPABLE EMPORIUM. A REAL HEADACHE, NEVER AGAIN, THERE'S PLENTY MORE SHOPS TO BUY SIMILAR GOODS FROM.

Excellent. A brand new pair of Hi-Tec Summit hiking boots for just £60 - less than half RRP of £140 - just because the box was a little bit battered. Absolutely thrilled to bits. Thank you very much!

Went into the store today and I was very pleased with the variety of stock managed to get everything I needed and more. Staff are really great and are keen to help answer any questions you may have and go up and beyond to deliver great customer service thank you again for all your help.

Went in to store with many questions and all got answered. Left with just the kit i needed, no pressure to by more. Not sure of the assistant’s name unfortunately but was more than helpful.
