No more hip pain!
Bought one, got a bonus!
After 12 months of hip pain, which over a period of time had got worse. A trip to the GP and examination, resulted in an X ray, referral to physio. I was initially given an exercise programme. Weeks down the line; I had promoted myself from Ibuprofen & paracetamol to prescribed Naproxen & paracetamol. The pain continued with no diagnosis. An MRI 11 months down the line, eliminated a prolapse disc.
Then, I kept seeing on Facebook posts relating to Glueteal Tendinopathy and recommended Probiotics and other supplements.
At this point, i was straight in touch with Becki. “Becki what do you know about this?….” Two decisions were quickly made, 1) Book with Becki to get an Intolerance test and 2) get some bloods done with the GP because it had been years since my bloods were tested.
So, within a week the results were in! The intolerance tests were pretty good on the whole, with Milk being and offender at a pretty low score of 23. However , following my consultation with Becki I very quickly was educated around the subject of gut health, leaky gut syndrome and inflammation.
Our discussion re the hip problem and inflammation made sense and the conversation then changed towards IBS. I’ll spare you too much information but I agreed to rule out Milk, Cheese 😭, Yoghurt & Butter and was sent lots of info regarding substitutes . (Note, that I haven’t gone to the extent of looking at all ingredients and avoiding all dairy .)
I commenced taking GI Complex and BioAcidophilus that I’m still taking 8 months down the line. The main changes in my diet based on our consultation are as follows:
Soy or Oat milk, Feta cheese, Bertoli , Alpro yoghurt. I started snacking on Almonds and Hazelnuts , also soaking Chia seeds and Flaxseed in my porridge oats.
The outcomes were that within two weeks the hip pain subsided and I was down to the odd paracetamol when needed. (An interesting thing happened over Christmas when I was eating cheese, cream and milky custard! The sore hip flared up. Lesson learnt stay off cows milk 🤔😬.)
I can also report that since early September 2025, I have only had one episode of IBS . Long May that continue. 🤞👏👏
I can highly recommend Becki and her expertise. The costs incurred through ProBiotics is worth every penny, especially if you break the daily cost down and see the benefits to your health.
