We've been part of the Fixation family since we moved to the area 4 years ago and our daughters love joining their weekly dance classes. Carly and Laura are exceptional, passionate and caring leaders and our girls have enjoyed all the opportunities presented to them (annual dance shows, smaller Christmas shows, dancing at a local festival). Thank you to the Fixation team for a creating a very special community for our young dancers!

My son attends two Saturday classes, Little Vision and Mini Movers, and he absolutely loves them. His dance teacher, Jemima, is fantastic and has helped build his confidence and enthusiasm for performing.

We recently took part in our first theatre show, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. I also volunteered during the show days, which gave me the opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes. The team are truly phenomenal, organised, professional, and incredibly caring. It was wonderful to see how well all of the children were looked after throughout the production.

My son hasn’t stopped talking about the experience and can’t wait to take part in another show. A huge thank you to everyone involved for creating such a positive, supportive and memorable experience for the children.

During school breaks, we've relied on Fixation's holiday camps. The booking process is straightforward, the staff are consistently welcoming, and our child not only enjoys the experience but often asks to return.

The character at my daughter's party was fantastic, engaging all the kids effortlessly. My daughter loved her birthday celebration and hasn't stopped raving about it since it ended.

My daughter loves Fixation. So do I! I am 100% sure that she is in good caring hands during school holidays while I am at work. The teachers are caring, nurturing and creative. These essential skils not only make the day enjoyable but also make it productive in terms of learning and development. Children have fun and always come home with a piece of artwork.

The camp was well organized and the team was very friendly. My daughter was happy while she attended the summer camp.

Even though his English was very basic, my 5-year-old had a truly enriching week at the Summer Camp. The team's strategies to include him really helped him overcome the language barrier. We plan on being there next Summer as well 😎

We used Fixation for our daughter’s 3rd birthday party and our experience was fantastic. The children all loved our entertainer and she kept them engaged for the whole time, a real feat given most of them were 2-3 years old. It made my daughter’s party so special and she keeps asking if Princess Belle can come back!

My daughter started at 3 years old at Fixation Academy in the little visions class, she absolutely loved it, and it was lovely to see her confidence and development grow. Shes now 7 and has since moved on to Lamda. Still loving it!

I have used Fixation for classes, holiday camp and an amazing birthday party. I think they’re lovely people who do an amazing job and genuinely care for the children making an effort to make them comfortable to get to know them.

How can anyone give Fixation less than 5 stars?!

Fixation Academy has been part of our lives for four years now, since lockdown, and honestly, I couldn’t be more thankful. My daughter is part of the East Finchley Branch and it’s been one of the best decisions we ever made.

My daughter has always been talkative, full of life, and bursting with personality, and Fixation didn’t try to quiet that. They embraced it. They helped her shape it, own it, and use it.

Over the years, she’s done so much with the team.
She’s been doing LAMDA, got distinction twice and is working toward her next one now.
In musical theatre, she’s played so many roles, big and small, and now she’s regularly cast as a main character. But the beauty of Fixation is that everyone gets a shot. No one’s left in the background.
The shows are not just school-style performances. These are proper, full-on productions. It’s like watching a West End film. Fantastic. And the confidence these kids carry on stage? Unbelievable.

And this year, she even got to volunteer at Bum Bum World, in the zoo section. A few months of real-life experience at her age? That’s what Fixation does. They bring opportunities to our children. It builds kids up so much that they go out into the world saying, “Yeah, I can do this.”

They’re also deeply rooted in the community. My daughter’s taken part in shows across Barnet and even helped light up the Christmas season with performances at local events. Fixation goes beyond just theatre; they’re about belonging, about connection, about giving kids the chance to be part of something bigger. And the impact shows up everywhere. Even in how she presents herself at school, you can see the confidence, the discipline, and the pride she carries now.

Carly, Laura, and the whole team are not just teachers or directors. They genuinely care. It’s never about the money. They’re not rushing through classes or just ticking boxes. They pour time, love, and belief into each child. They are truly a nurturing committed team.

You see it in the way they speak to the kids. You see it in the termly showcases, and especially in the end-of-year shows, which are honestly better than some professional productions.

And they include everyone. SEN children, older kids, youth, little ones. Whoever walks through those doors, Fixation finds a way to make them feel seen and valued.

As a mum, all you want is for your child to have somewhere they belong. Somewhere they’re celebrated. Somewhere they grow.

For us, that’s Fixation.

If you’re a parent sitting on the fence, wondering if it’s worth it. I’m telling you now, do it. Whether your child is loud or quiet, full of energy or still finding their feet, Fixation will meet them where they are and help them fly. Soar!

This was my daughters first time to a camp she is 3 and I can't say enough how amazing all the staff were they made sure she was settled before I left and kept me updated through the day my daughter had the best time she came out with the biggest smile and chatted the whole way home about all the things they had done she will definitely be coming back in the summer thank you girls

My daughter has been doing LAMDA for a few months now and absolutely loves it! The teachers are amazing as is the venue and the whole experience. I know you both put so much work into your academy and only want the very best for the children! You are both incredible as is all the teachers

I have sent my son to the summer camp aswell as been to some events hosted by fixation academy and he is always very entertained and more importantly I know I am leaving him in safe hands. The staff are always exceptional. I highly recommend.

My son has been attending Whitings Hill holiday camps for the last 3 years, now my 3 year old daughter attends. They both absolutely love it and the staff are brilliant, especially Jamima. I highly recommend Fixations.

The Floating Lights Ball yesterday was absolutely amazing. What can I say I guys every time you smash it. From start to finish. Cupcakes and popcorn at the door. The gift bags just get better and better each time. So much thought goes into creating these bags that leave ever lasting magical impact on our children. The actual event the princesses were great. Singing, dancing, interactions with the children was great. The arts and crafts were a great hit painting the canvases. We loved the glitter bar so many choices of colours for the children to choose. The staff are so welcoming and so inclusive. My daughter has a diagnosis for autism and ADHD and the staff are always so welcoming and inclusive. They go above and beyond to entertain all the children and adults. We have been to all your events and you always put on such a great magical time for all the children. Thank you guys keep doing what your doing xx

Fixation Academy provided the entertainment for my daughter's 6th birthday party. We opted for the Superstar Dance Party package, with the optional extra of glitter tattoos for all children (only £20 extra - a bargain!)

My daughter's whole class was invited, plus a few extra friends and I was worried that the boys her age would not find it fun, but they loved it as much as the girls and the feedback from parents was great too.

The Fixation Academy team were amazing from the start. Before the party Carly responded to all my queries about anything and everything (kettles, teaspoons, timings, food, set-up) and she was also happy to meet me at the venue a few days before so I could see what it was like.

On the day we had one team member assigned to help with set up and running the party and two girls for entertaining the children. In fact all three went out of their way to help us with everything e.g. setting out tables, covering them with table cloths (I hadn't bought any so they kindly lent us some), putting out the party food, moving furniture around, giving us advice and even helping serve cake to guests and clear up at the end. The extra lengths they went to really meant a lot, such as letting us keep a balloon arch from the previous party (which worked out really well for photos) and giving us a prayer room for guests who needed to pray during the party.

I honestly can't praise the team enough for all they did do make our daughter's party special. She absolutely loved it and was buzzing throughout the party and afterwards. All the feedback from kids and parents was great. I would highly recommend Fixation Academy if you're looking for birthday party entertainers! Thank you to all of the team who helped make our daughter's party so wonderful!
