The HP Omen 17 ck2000na has an infamous issue with its fans, where they will work perfectly fine and then suddenly stop for no reason. I initially assumed the fans themselves were broken and bought brand-new replacements, but that didn't fix the problem. I eventually realized the issue had to be a component on the motherboard.

I brought my laptop to this team, and they had it completely fixed within 10 days. They successfully identified and replaced the faulty piece on the motherboard. I've been using the laptop heavily for over two weeks since the repair, and I haven't had a single issue with the fans. They did a fantastic job. If I ever have another tech issue in the future, I will definitely be using their services again. Highly recommended!

Update of 29 March 2026

Immediately after my review of 25 of February the Owner/CEO of Fixfactor got in touch with me recognising that the Company made a mistake and that the man in charge of collection of devices didn't follow the policy of FixFactor .
The policy is to study the problem and then say Yes or No!

So I accepted to return the devices to Fixfactor !

At the end they managed to find a solution and to fix my problem .

I have to thank the Ceo mainly to admitting the mistake which is a thing a company admits with some difficulty .

At the moment I'm waiting the devices back so I'll update asap about the end of this story !

Fantastic service from start to finish. I was initially offered a repair attempt at a lower cost, but they were completely transparent about the risks and gave me the option of a motherboard replacement with full guarantees. I chose the replacement and ended up with upgraded specs, which I’m really happy with.

Communication was excellent throughout — quick replies, clear explanations, and very friendly service. There was a small mix-up with the charger, but they immediately sent the correct one via urgent delivery and reimbursed my return postage without hesitation.

Adam did a great job of looking after my MacBook after it wouldn't turn on. Rather than replacing the entire logic board, Adam was able to sort out the problem component on the board. It's been running great ever since.

Disaster. A family member dropped my mobile phone, the glass broke, and the phone was lifeless, useless. Took it to FixFactor on the Kingston Road, and 24 hours later, my phone was ready for collection, as good as new again. Brilliant, thank you so much.

I had problems with the battery, it was so easy to deal with FixFactor.
My phone battery was replaced fast, and now it's working properly,
Eventually my next phone was all so the battery problem, and was replaced fast, I am very happy with the work they did,

Dead laptop with important unbacked up files. Really happy with the service: Fix was quite quick and covered by initial diagnostic fee with options presented for longer-term fix. Excellent, friendly, and cost-effective service

I have dealt with these guys the first time with my old laptop and they got it fix. Had to go back to these guys with my second laptop to get it fix cause of loose cables and over heating. Again the crew have done the magic yet again. Worth the money and service. Would go back again as I trust these guys.

What a very friendly company to use so very helpful in all departments

Fix factor diagnosed the problems with my laptop quickly and knowledgeably. They replaced a broken charging port and resoldered it. All was completed in a timely manner and cost significantly less than I expected. I am delighted to have my laptop working again !
