I am writing this only for the benefit and piece of mind of others. I used Flashtrend.co.nz to purchase a hard to source item (replacement UPS backup battery). Once I placed my order I started viewing bad reviews. Ordered Friday 30th Jan 2026, Item was shipped and tracking number received on the same day. The tracking number didn't work with the tracking link I was sent. Emailed Wednesday 4th Feb, tried calling Thursday 5th. Item turned up on Monday 8th Feb (remember, Waitangi day and 2 weekends in this period). Experience was good overall but the delayed communication, wrong tracking details, and anxiety around if I got scammed was what this company could improve upon. Ultimately my item turned up, it arrived in a timely manor, and I am happy with the purchase.

After sending an initial enquiry to this company about a record player, and not receiving a response from that enquiry, i reluctantly decided to purchase from them as the product i wanted was available from them at a reasonable price with reasonable shipping within a reasonable time. BIG mistake. Whilst they were great at taking my money and dispatching the order from Australia ( the reason for my initial enquiry: Location) there was a follow up email with track details from the worst courier company in the world: ARAMEX. This rating is not necessarily for the company, but their choice in courier company's.
FlashTrend, you need to change providers, its letting you down, and while your at it, be a little better at responding to emails

Shipping took forever and the sizing was way off. The designs are cute, but the quality doesn’t match the price.

Goodluck. Initial contact was OK, asked about a specific laptop to see whether they could match competitors. They could. Then it all fell over, no email responses whatsoever… been 3 days now. Nothing, I’ve followed up every day.

If a company can’t reply to an email (or even a live chat) when I’m here, with money ready to buy then I can’t image what the aftersales service and dispatch of the laptop itself would be like.

My advice, avoid.

I could not find anywhere online saying that this site was legitimate and the prices seemed too good to be true - but I took the risk and ordered anyway. I am very glad that I did. The order came quickly and everything has worked perfectly.
