Based on the information you shared, it appears that you have encountered a fraudulent third-party website or someone impersonating Flatio. Unfortunately, scammers sometimes misuse trusted brand names to deceive users outside of the official platform.

Please note that "Flatio S.A." does not exist as a company. Our official company name is Flatio, s.r.o., and we are a Czech-based company. In addition, please be aware that a bank account under the name “Flatio S.A.” is not ours. For your safety, please note that the booking process on Flatio always works as follows:
- register and stay logged in on www.flatio.com
- communicate with the host exclusively through Flatio messages
- make a booking directly from the listing
- complete the booking in your profile by uploading your ID, signing the lease, and paying securely through the platform

There is no step in this process that takes place outside of Flatio. Hosts are not allowed to send external links or request payments outside the platform before the contract is finalized. If you were asked to complete the booking or payment via a different website or link, it was most likely a scam.

We strongly recommend ensuring that all bookings and payments are made only through your profile on www.flatio.com.

Based on your message, it is possible that you may have encountered a fraudulent third-party website or impersonator. Unfortunately, there are cases where scammers misuse well-known brands, including Flatio, to target potential guests outside of the official platform.

For your safety, please note that the booking process on Flatio always follows these steps:
- register and stay logged in on www.flatio.com
- communicate with the host exclusively through Flatio messages
- create a booking request directly from the listing
- complete the booking in your profile by uploading your ID, signing the lease, and paying securely through the platform

There is no part of the process that happens outside of Flatio. Hosts are not allowed to communicate or request payments outside the platform before the contract is finalized.

We strongly recommend ensuring that all communication and payments are made only via your Flatio profile.

This is definitely not the standard we aim for at Flatio. Unfortunately, we are aware that some hosts do not approve booking requests as consistently or reliably as they should, and we are actively working on improving this to ensure a smoother and more reliable experience for our guests.
