FloatMe blocked my account for “unusual activity” after I tried installing the app while traveling. I explained everything clearly, submitted my ID, and followed every step they asked for. One rep actually tried to help, but another closed my account without a real review and refused to escalate the issue. As a Veteran, being treated like a scammer instead of a customer was extremely disappointing. The lack of transparency, accountability, and consistent support makes this app feel unreliable.

Low for cash advance only offer 20 for your cash advance and then pay a monthly fee i couldn't log back in because of them keep saying i was using a VPN and my VPN wasnt never connected i dont never use no VPN at all so i had to have customer service canceled my subscription because I couldn't log in

Scam!! Do not use. They take your subscription fee and then dont hold up their end.

Horrible customer service. Been using floatme fir a long time and this week was different. I did a float and it never went to my account. I told them, they replied and ghosted me. They expect me to pay for the float but they never gave me money in the first place!

Lied about everything! Only wanted my info to sell. Beware! They are scam artists who want your money.

I was a good customer and haven’t done anything all along. They are scamming people. All of a sudden I got a message stating: “ Your account has been terminated due to unusual activity related to a payment. Our system detected that many payments that were stopped or returned to your bank account under the account.” The only thing that changed was my debit card as I got a new one in the mail. DO NOT USE THEM! That is a big ol scam. They take your payment and then suddenly deactivate your account without asking you questions.

They have you pay for a subscription in order to get a Float then Deny you for a Float... deceptive!

Really bad customer service, when you want to contact, send questions, they answer very clearly, will answer within 3 working days, actually I sent messages twice, please answer my questions, and never got a reply. Only when I asked to close the account, then they answered. But one thing they had the courage to send me a question to rate them, how the supports I received. Such a stupid question, when I asked, they never answered, but clearly stated that they would answer within 3 days, what support do you have to ask.
You should stay away from this place, you waste your money and time

I have been using Float Me for awhile now. Never had a problem. Borrow $50 bucks and pay it back on payday. I recently switched banks because I had a disagreement with my last one. I was with them for 3 years. I gave Float Me all the new bank info and debit card info. They take the money for my subscription $4.99 and then don't float me. What?!?! I pay money to borrow a tiny amount of money. I don't give you money because it feels good. Float me or refund me! They should only take money from people if they are going to float them. Otherwise, it's a total rip off! Just beware. They will take your money and not float you!

I believe they should wait until AFTER you get approved to make you pay for the subscription.

I downloaded the app in hopes I could get a little bit of help until my next paycheck.
With only $10 to my name I was guaranteed $80 so I didn’t mind paying the $4.99 only to find out my cash advance didn’t get approved.

Now I’m $5 short.Im okay with not being approved but could the company atleast refund the money or just wait until after approval

This is the worst so called cash advance app there is. They get your bank info and charge you a membership fee then after taking your money they tell you your not approved for a cash advance. Please stay away from these thieves. The worst part I'm not able to unlink my account from the app which makes me very nervous but if any money is touched I will contact law enforcement.

they are charging for services not used. no number to reach anyone at. 3.99 bi weekly.. on days i dont get paid or have the funds in. smh no one will reach back out to me either via email we are made to send out.

Sign up for a paid service only to find out your bank is not supported.
One of the many issues I have had while trying to use their service. Cannot in good faith recommend it because they are concerned with taking your money first and then they suggest they are unable to provide the advertised service. Kind of baffling a company offering some type of cash advance would expect to operate off of a paid subscription anyway but I digress. No option to leave feedback or exit survey, so I came to Trustpilot to voice my opinion.

I had a very frustrating experience with Floatme. Despite never subscribing to their service or requesting any money, I started receiving emails saying I would be charged for a subscription. There was no clear explanation for this, and it feels like an attempt to charge me for something I never signed up for. I am currently looking into how to report this as fraud, as this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone.

Absolutely zero stars. Why charge a membership fee if you never approve a new member a float?? The most ridiculous app I have ever downloaded in my life.
