My partner and I did the Vietnamese cooking course yesterday. It was the second time we've been to Food at 52 and it was just as good this time around. Jean-Marc is knowledgeable, funny and good at dealing with a group of strangers who have sharp knives, gas burners and have been coiffing the liberal quantity of wine and beer on offer for a couple of hours. The staff were all helpful and very friendly. The chicken dish we made was really, really good and will definitely be on the table at home before long. I would definitely recommend signing up to a course. If you think what you'd spend in a restaurant on a 2 or 3 course meal with alcohol on tap, it works out at pretty good value. We've booked another course already!

We recently attended our second cookery class as part of a company event, and somehow it was even better than the first time!

The team are fantastic, and the whole experience is brilliant from start to finish. So far we’ve done both the Italian and Indian street food classes — both were great fun, really well run, and we left with loads of tips and recipes to try at home.

We’re already planning to book a third class - would definitely recommend!

We did the 2.5 hour pasta class with our two teenage daughters and we all had a fantastic time. The team at Food at 52 are brilliant and manage to be professional, informative and fun all at the same time. We had a very enjoyable Friday evening and learnt a lot. The food and the very generously free slowing wine were both delicious.

This was a birthday gift from our family for my wife Lesley, she attended with my lovely granddaughter.

They made yummy Italian food along with a nice group of people, instructed by 2 experienced chefs.

It was a great experience, all very organised, good fun, the food was delicious, ‘and’ no washing up!

She can’t recommend this day enough to all foodies who enjoy cooking.

on the day of the course I had an emergency and unfortunately couldn't attend - called the company as soon as possible, however they refused to offer me an opportunity to reschedule - they only gave me a discount for my next booking - I will not be using it as I find this highly unfriendly.
