To be honest I would not give them 1 Star.
On advice from one of their financial advisors. my daughter took out a Policy and re-invested her Child Trust Fund. He did not listen and manipulated her into having something she did not need,obviously, for the money he would make on it.
Despite complaining , they did nothing and my daughter still faces a stiff penalty if she takes the money out.
They are a company that cannot be trusted, only interested in financial gain for themselves and encourage their advisors to sell products regardless of the hurt they cause!!?

Lee Connor was really clear and articulate on what was going to happen with the further plans with Foresters Financial. He was very kind and patient with me as we discussed the whole process of my mature trust fund plan. Would happily talk to him again!

I used Foresters for my childs investment, and have had nothing but good interactions with them. Their help and advice has been invaluable in ensuring a good foundation for the future, and giving my child a chance I never had.

This company bought my son's child trust fund years ago. Some time before it matured I tried to arrange to have the fund available as cash for him when he turned 18. Instead the company put it into their stocks and shares fund which promptly dropped nearly £1000. It has recovered now so we are removing the money but I assume Foresters will take the fee they charge for the account we didn't ask for.

I'm sure it makes sense for the company to get business from young people turning 18. But we can see them as the sharks they are.

My advice to anyone with a trust fund with Foresters is to move the funds to a child cash ISA elsewhere before they can seize it. Wish I had.

I was given the financial advisor called Olivia Begg by foresters financial and she was a very polite, kind and patient lady who gave very detailed but also easy to understand explanations on all the subjects concerning myself about ISAs. She tried her best to answer all of my questions and did a very good job at helping me with my queries. I would recommend people to foresters financial and would especially like to give Olivia as an advisor a special recommendation as I think she did a great job helping me. Thank you foresters! Just wanted to add, Jesus loves you all! God Bless!

Cheryl was very thorough and helpful, taking us through the entire investment process smoothly. We were very comfortable discussing our investment plans with her, and found her to be knowledgeable, providing clear guidance on options available to us, which was very useful.

Lee was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The information and advice he gave was clear which helped to make an informed decision to open an isa.

Meeting the advisor face to face in person and not via a video conference on Teams. We were attracted to Foresters as it purported to be a fraternal organisation involving a community. We do not get this feeling from them using Teams video meetings. Nor from the reaction we have had from the London HQ - impersonal and self important . We only continue to invest due to service received from the advisor who visits us

Cheryl Phillips has supported our family for over a year now, initially when our eldest son's CTF was maturing...she provided great, honest guidance to help him understand the importance of investing for the future and establish good habits for his financial future.
She now helps several members of our family understand and manage their finances with warmth, knowledge and honesty.

I've had a stocks and shares ISA with Foresters for about 6 years. I can schedule a review with a financial advisor any time at no cost, either video call or in person, they always have useful information to share and I've always felt they give impartial advice, not just about their products. Recently setup Lifetime ISAs for my children.

Olivia is always so helpful and explains everything so clearly.
She is professional but also really friendly and patient with us.

We had a visit from Glen Mumford, he explained and answered all our questions about our account and gave some good advice. He also encouraged us to use our membership benefits.

Really informative and helpful, manage my child trust fund well and helped me unsterstand everything about it. My finacial advisor Jade is particulaly helpful and always avaliable for a chat.

The representative was very professional and considerate. He was attentive, as always, and took all of our requests into account.
Perhaps the London HQ staff that I have dealt with could take a leaf out of his book. When I dealt with them I was on the verge of withdrawing all of my money and my wifes. However it was after speaking to the representative, Robert, that we remained with the Foresters.

Denise Cooper is a fantastic adviser! She is clear and concise, does not use jargon, listens to our needs and makes appropriate , needs based recommendations! She looks after the whole family we are lucky to have her as our adviser!

Mark Barron was the advisor who helped me and my son navigate through transitioning from his child trust fund to adult savings products. He was spot on. He never overused jargon and communicated with my son in simple clear language that made the underlying principles and thinking really clear and easy to follow for my son.
He never felt pushy and “trying to sell” and his style put my son at ease and quickly built trust.
He is a real asset to Foresters and (as someone who was an executive in Financial Services) I was very impressed with all aspects of his style.
