Fantastic experience. This is another example of why we have chosen Forrest repeatedly for our furniture needs. We love the bedroom furniture. Forrest have their own delivery service and the two guys who delivered our furniture were superb. An outstanding service from pre-sale, point of sale through to delivery. We will continue to buy from Forrest.

Bought a settee in 2021 Will never buy from them again no wonder they try and con you into buying frame insurance as the frame only lasted me 18 months , that’s what you get when you buy a three seater settee from them I wasted over two grand for nothing now by the time I bought a chair and two footstools am trying to save up again to buy a new one from somewhere else so please what ever you do don’t ever waste your money in this store.

I WOULD ACTUALLY SCORE -1IF IT WAS AN OPTION.
PURCHASED THE ALSTONS AALTO GRAND SOFA FROM FORREST FURNISHING, TOOK 16 WEEKS TO DELIVER AND THE QUALITY IF GRAND SOFA WAS VERY POOR. NOTIFIED FORREST FURNISHINGS IMMEDIATELY, ASKED TO RETURN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEUR DISSATISFIED POLICY AND WAS TOLD A TECHNICIAN HAD TO VISIT IN THE FIRST INSTANCE TO INSPECT. THIS TOOK 2 WEEKS TO ARRANGE AND ISSUE STILL NOT RESOLVED.

ALSTONS SOFAS…..DO NOT BUY, VERY POOR STANDARDS AND FINISH OF SOFA SEAT AND BACK CUSHIONS IS EXCEPTIONALLY BAD. THEY USED TO BE HIGH QUALITY AND MY PREVIOUS 10 YEAR OLD SOFA FROM ALSTONS IS BETTER THAN THE NEW ONE. ALSTONS ADVERTISE ‘GREAT QUALITY’ BUT THE TECHNICIAN REPORT STATES QUALITY IS ‘GOOD’ AND CUSTOMERS EXPECTATIONS ARE ‘HIGH’. ALSTONS ADVERTISE ‘ We believe a truly great sofa is attractive and comfortable ‘. ALSTONS TECHNICIAN STATES IT IS A DRESSING ISSUE AND WITHIN MANUFACTURING GUIDELINES. I CAN ONLY ADVISE OTHER PEOPLE THAT THE NEW AALTO SOFA LOOKS IS NOT AT ALL ATTRACTIVE, FABRIC QUALITY IS VERY POOR AND I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE NOT TO BUY, IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE STANDARD.

FORREST FURNISHINGS ARE NOW SENDING A SECOND TECHNICIAN OUT TO REVIEW WHICH MEANS ME HAVING TO BE INCONVENIENCED AGAIN BY HAVING TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK.

I was disappointed with Forrest furnishings I purchased a sofa and two chairs over a year ago and it was faulty so had to reorder a new one the service I received on returning and ordering a new one was great but 2nd sofa and chairs arrived five months later and it wasn’t the sofa and chairs I order so had to order for the third time and wait around five months again was told I would get £300 compensation this I thought was shocking considering the time I waited
now have new sofa’s
no courtesy call to see if everything is okay compensation £101 now saying they didn’t offer any compensation
I will never use this company again and would say be very careful when buying from them

This company need to start being honest to customers.
Would not recommend them or their furniture care plan!

I had a fantastic experience with their staff and the quality of their products, I ordered a few items when I bought my new house, the coffee table and council table were really nice, delivered on time, the sofas came about 2 weeks late but I got updated with delivery date and also could choose a preferred day for delivery. They brought and unpacked all of the furniture, took the packing away which was a big help!the quality of the furniture is excellent, never had any issues( I ordered from them few times and also from their side company Macdonald furnitiings which is closed now).
I also had an enquiry about custom build and fitted home office and they came home to measure and make plan of the room all free of charge, unfortunately I did not go with the order as I decided on the other furniture instead but there was no fuss about it, they were always polite and nice

After waiting 5.5 months for a suite to arrive, there were flaws in the material, lumpy in parts and faulty legs on both the suite and the chair. Unacceptable and no offer of compensation offered.

Dreadful customer service , goods not delivered , ongoing excuses, totally mislead and very poor communication.
My apologies, but this is a long review !
On 9th Jan I visited the showroom and ordered a settee , and a recliner and footstool ( different manufacturers).
I was aware the Parker Knoll settee had a lead time of around 22 weeks for delivery, however I was advised the recliner would be available in 4, 5 weeks maximum and I had a very clear conversation with the sales assistant that I needed the recliner asap ( I.E. 4 to 5 weeks ) as I had moved house and needed something to sit on asap , and it was on this basis I chose and ordered the recliner.( order : SS/ 170115)
On that basis it was agreed the suite would be delivered in due course, however I would collect the chair when it arrived in 4/5 weeks .
Around 4 weeks later I contacted them again for a progress update and it was clear no chair had arrived , so I visited again and had another conversation with the sales person. I was then told that as the chair and settee went onto the same order form the system assumed that they would both be delivered together in 22 weeks !!! This was despite being supplied by different manufacturers and the chair being for collection. I assumed this mistake had happened as the sales person was relatively new and was given an assurance that it would be sorted asap and my chair would prob be available in a couple of weeks or at the very latest 4 weeks.
Again I waited patiently and phoned a couple of weeks ago to be told the SETTEE was sitting in their warehouse awaiting delivery but no one had contacted me as they were waiting for the chair to arrive ( bonkers !) . So I explained what had happened and got the same daft story about items in the same order etc , and pointed out only the settee was being delivered so why hold onto it. Eventually the settee was delivered a few days later , and I expected (/and was assured ) the chair would arrive in a week or two .
A week later I got a call to ask if I wanted to collect the scatter cushions for the settee or have them delivered ??, so I asked for an update on the chair but had to wait till the Monday for a call back when I was told actually the chair would not be available until May !, ( should have been Feb !) as it had not been ordered as the lead time for the settee was longer. Absolute nonsense , particularly by that point on 3 occasions I had been assured it was ordered with a 4 week lead time. When I enquired about cancellation ( I would rather have the chair) I was told that could happen but it would cost me at least 25% of the purchase price.
So it is a complete shambles and it seems Forrest Furnishings have no interest in me as a customer and expediting the delivery , nor any particular interest in apologising for the situation , so I would suggest going else where if you want furniture and decent service.

An excellent store let down by staff.
I am in my 80th year and almost housebound but manged to have a friend drive me into the store on 7th Jan 2023. Allison who understood my situation and the urgency to make my order. She gave me all the details of the sale told me to go home and take my time to consider the options, phone her on Monday with my decision. She gave me her number which would get me directly through to her G Plan station. I phoned Monday morning around 10am, no reply and continued to phone every half hour the whole day. I left a message with my phone number and continued to wait for her call which never came. I decided that if that was the service to expect I should buy from a different store. Allison phoned me today around 11am with no apology and that she was too busy to answer the phone or check her messages. A store is only as good as the staff they employ. What a pity as I have purchased from Forrests in the past without fault

Ordered a chair from Forrest website which was in their sale. I was contacted today & told they don’t stock the item & haven’t done for as long as the staff member has worked there! Offered a more expensive alternative (£20) when I asked if they would price match I was told no as it was already reduced. While on phone I looked replacement up in internet & found same item over £80 cheaper & with free delivery. Staff member said they would look into this & call me back, when they did, I was told the one I look at was same price & out of stock, I checked again & it was still over £80 cheaper & in stock. When I asked how it could be that we were getting different prices regarding this it turns out staff member was looking up a completely different chair as she couldn’t see the one she was trying to sell me? Is it just a scam to get people to purchase a poorer quality item at an increased price?

Ordered sofas and chairs and set of tables, TV unit and bookcase. Been a delay in the sofas but not unexpected. Isabela in sales was great when we first were looking at furniture and has kept us fully updated all along. First class service throughout. Thanks.

Just took delivery of our new suite. Delivery drivers were a pleasure to deal with. Extremely helpful and very cheerful. Took away all packaging which was a plus. Suite is absolutely superb. Very comfortable and great quality. From start to finish, an excellent experience.

Impeccable service as ever. I have a lot of Forrest furniture and love it, such high quality. But this time we went for a mattress. Due to two members of staff patiently explaining the mattresses, we went for a Harrison Spinks which we'd never even heard of! Staff and products are first class.

Never fail to give the best service possible.
Yet again, my order delivered and installed without any fuss. On time and in perfect condition by guys who knew exactly what they were doing.

Other businesses please take note. This is the way things should be.

Excellent service throughout
Bought Hypnos bed and mattress in May and delivered in August, as promised! Sales service and advice was fantastic. Delivery was well above recent experience from other companies. Delivery was : on time and team were respectful and very efficient. Forrest assembled the bed and removed all packaging, this was service beyond expectations. I can not recommend this company highly enough!

Instead of visiting lots of shops, I now just go to Forrest furnishing as my one stop for carpets or furniture. Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. After care service is excellent.
I had a new carpet where there was a bit of a "shadow" it was checked and replaced with no problem. I was free to choose another carpet, a different brand, delivered and fitted at no extra cost. Over 20 years of shopping there, I have had no problems with any sofas i have bought. There is a massive choice in their shop. sales provide good prices for quality goods.
