Fort Knox was amazing from start to finish. I got a technician at my house quickly and on time. The technician went through everything with me and taught me how to work my system. I called back with a few more questions and they were quick and knowledgeable about my system. I highly recommend them
We live in Pasco County Florida and meet this dysfunctional company at a home show. Received a quote and was impressed by the sales rep. Should have known that's where the problem starts. Monitoring is done by Digi Com, found out Fort Knox is a middle man. Camera's stopped working called the office, spoke with a women who had "NO CLUE" She was rude, had no knowledge of anything, come to find out she is the owners girlfriend. Tried calling back and was told that for $135.00 we could have a tech come out and fix our issue's( No freakin way). Finally after searching the internet found a solution. Then had more camera and monitoring problems come to find out that a company called DiGi Com was doing the actual monitoring and they didn't have any information on our home, they explained that Fort Knox never supplied our information to them. Now since take over from FRONTIER from Verizon we have no cameras again and have left Voice mail and Email message for them and they keep calling the wrong number after being given the correct info. They suck.....Can't wait for something to happen so i can sue their butts off. Haven't had camera's in months. BUYER BE WARE.....THEY SUCK.
I would never hirer this company cause they do not keep there appointments . The girl in the office is very unprofessional to the point I asked to speak with the manager and she refused to put me in contact with the him . I own a big company my self and I know if I had some one like this working for me I would want some one to inform me of the unprofessionalism . She is costing that company a lot of money Im sure.
From the point of sale to current use, we love our new security system. And, if you have the opportunity to upgrade to the thermostat or the door locks, you should upgrade. It has made our life much easier. Thank you, Sylvia, for introducing us to this service.
I have called Fort Knox customer care several times in the past to complain about monitoring service. Several times I have entered my home and let the alarm go off. During those times we received no call to see if there was a problem. Always they checked and provided an excuse. I have also called about keypad indicating that something was opened and that got fixed. How, I don’t know because I do not recall any technician coming to my home.
The final straw was that the door from my home to the garage was open sometime during the weekend. No calls no nothing. So, what are you monitoring??!! After my discussion with your representative, it seems that all your company wanted to do is charge me for the rest of my contract. But again I ask you, WHAT WERE YOU MONITORING??
Fine, it is worth getting out of this contract and getting a company that will actually monitor my home. Beware of doing business with this company!!!
I had poor service from this company. They responded slowly to any request.
When we sold the house and moved to Arkansas they insisted we continue to pay the next 7 months of service even though they were not licensed in Arkansas and could not provide any benefit to us. I would look into an alarm company that does not require a contract. The Internet is your friend here. I would strongly not recommend this company.
After three years service(10/20/2011 - present), I tried to cancel the monitoring service in July. Rusty(representative) told me that my contract expires on October and need to call on October. So, I called Oct. 3rd or 4th again. At that time, a lady told me that I need to send a written letter for the monitoring service cancellation to avoid the auto renew.
I sent the cancellation letter. They received it on Oct. 10th.
After I saw a monthly service charge, I called to find out what is going on. Cathy(representative, which pretends a manager) is telling me that the contract is auto renewed. I have to keep paying the monitoring service fee one more year now.
Do not use this company! Horrible customer service and trickery. Still waiting on service after 4 tries! DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
had your security system installed yesterday at my house. What I asked for from fortknox home security I am getting. Great service so far great technician. I tried vivint two weeks ago and cancelled within 1 day was horrible, had adt for 7 hours canceled them what they promised to install is not what I got. Then wanted $600 to install what I wanted. I am enjoying fort knox home security and you have a customer for a long time coming.
Fort Knox Home security has not only the best systems and options out here, but the best customer service I have ever spoke to. Anytime I have questions about possible upgrades to our system, or changes that I would like made to it, I have always received top notch customer service! Their techs know what they are doing and get the job done right and fast. If after installation you want changes made, they come back out and make it happen! I will never go with another company again!
I own a vacation home in Texas and after lots of research went with Fort Knox Security a few years back. They lowered my costs substantially from what I was paying. When I was initially installed, I upgraded to the new Go Control system that features a touch screen keypad which also communicates with my smart phone. I love the feature that allows me to disarm/arm remotely. Surprisingly user friendly! I am writing a new review after adding some additional features, 2 Co2 sensors and a front door remote lock. I was glad to see the same technician that had done my original install. Good companies keep good employees!! I would 100 % recommend Fort Knox Security. They offer the best pricing in the market and deliver great customer service each time!
As a business owner, protecting my store is of utmost importance. I called around and went with Fort Knox Security because they quoted a fair price and had good ratings and reviews. The installer was on time, dressed professionally and talked to me about placement of sensors. He also walked me through how to add different users for my management team. After the install I had a few questions about the permit and the customer service team went above and beyond walking me through the process and making minor changes to my call list. The system installed works flawlessly and I am very happy with my Fort Knox experience. I Highly recommend this company for your business or home security needs.
I don't usually write reviews, however I am so pleased with the experience I had from start to finish with Fort Knox. I went with Fort Knox security because of their A+ rating with the BBB along with a great conversation with a very competent sales rep over the phone. He helped me access what my security needs are for my home in depth. Once we decided what was needed for our home, I was worried it was going to cost a fortune, but was pleasantly surprised that I was to be charged nothing upfront with no activation or install fees. I also really liked that I was given a direct line to call my salesperson and he answered each time I called in with additional questions. The installation process was great. You could tell the technician who serviced our home loves what he does! He took the time to make sure my cell interactive feature was explained and working with my smart phone. And let me try and test the new features. He cleaned up before leaving and I am looking forward to being with a company that cares about my needs.
I called and asked about service. They were nice and polite on the phone for the first set up appointment. The technician arrived and didnt really say much about anything. He didnt explain anything he was doing and I had to follow and ask questions, which he seemed put out about. He only added a new phone receiver and left all the other equipment alone. He didnt even have a sheet explaining any of the codes or how to work the system. At the end he had me sign the contract paper and after it was signed he told me it would be a 3 year contract because I got "new" equipment. (like I said they didnt add anything new except their own receiver). Then he left without leaving me a copy of the contract or any paperwork at all. I called the company less than a week after activation because I found out I needed to move for work. I was told I would not be allowed to cancel because I only had a 3 day window to change my mind and that it was on the contract I signed. Even though I never got a copy of the contract until I tried to cancel 4 days after activation. (I got the contract emailed to me 10 days after activation). When I asked about options, I got a very rude response saying that I am in a contract now and there is nothing I can do but pay up. AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!!
Not happy with the way I was treated. Given a window of 3 to 5. Technician calls me from Galveston, 1-1/2 hours away to troubleshoot over the phone, which they were unable to previously. I was under the impression that a tech would be coming to my house. Played along, and he said I think its the battery or the contact. Wanted to see if it was covered before I knew how much It would be. 138.00.....For a service call and a 5.00 contact. And even if I wanted to buy my own contact and have the system recognize it, they said I cant. Its in the contract...LOL. Guess what. it's cheaper to cancel the contract and have another company install a brand new system. When I called to customer service... the guy seemed like he was right-fighting me but kept trying to say we're saving you money.. Whatever. been without an alarm for 5 days. Truly not happy with their service. However, the 1st installer they sent out was awesome...Wish I had his number.. :( Try another company 1st.
we have 10 business locations in Dallas TX. fort knox services 8 of the 10, and we will be moving the service to fort knox from our other two locations once the existing contract ends.
They were very nice and easy to work with. Great service and great products
We chose Fort Knox after looking at several alarm companies including most of the "big names" in the industry. We selected them because of their pricing and excellent on-line reviews. Set-up was quick and pleasant. We had an issue with the technician not putting down the correct emergency services number to be called if our alarm went off, but once management became aware of this they were quick to rectify the problem and expressed genuine concern for our happiness with the system and company. I've not dealt with another company that was so quick to communicate and ensure customer satisfaction and am glad to know they aren't just another big company who considers you a disposable number.

I had an excellent experience quote and install. Jamie was on time, and cleaned up after installing new system. He took the time to show me how to work all aspects. Good deal all around.
The staff at Fort Knox have been very helpful and courteous. They setup my alarm in a timely manner. I did not feel pressured into new equipment and an expensive contract like the big enterprise alarm companies.
