Our experience with Forto.com has been a complete disaster. Forto.com promised "groundbreaking" tracking capabilities and competitive pricing, which initially convinced us to try their services over our well-established, trusted freight forwarder. This was a grave mistake.
Firstly, it took Forto.com over a week just to provide us with basic pricing information and contact the factory. This is unacceptably slow, especially for time-sensitive shipments. Additionally, when working with Forto.com, you are forced to deal with not one, but two layers of unnecessary middlemen, none of whom seem to have any specialized expertise in freight forwarding.
The real dealbreaker, however, is Forto.com's incompetent staff. Their employees are utterly unreachable by phone and clearly lack the knowledge and experience required for effective freight forwarding. Most egregiously, their so-called "groundbreaking" tracking system is incapable of even sending basic shipment updates via email. This is a fundamental failure for any logistics provider.
In conclusion, Forto.com has provided us with an abysmal service experience and we had move back to our old freight forwarder within 2 weeks. Their delays, excessive layers of middlemen, and complete lack of competence have caused us nothing but frustration. We strongly urge anyone considering Forto.com to look elsewhere for their freight forwarding needs. The headache simply isn't worth it.
