It's very easy to just remove. I thought the whole point of this was making it not easy to remove. For example, on the computer, all you have to do is just quit the Freedom app. And then on the phone, all you have to do is just turn off Screen Time.

Support is good though

I don't understand the bad reviews really, works pretty well for me.

It does the job.

Some of the UI I'm not a big fan of, but 90% it does a fine job of everything.

It’s a Scam, it blocks nothing , I purchased this to block YouTube from my sons laptop and he can opens YouTube from all the browsers / supported browsers. It looks low price solution but but it doesn’t work

II'm disappointed at the lack of features being added. Look at their changelog, and you'll see how much they're simply maintaining instead of improving freedom. I've used freedom for over 5 years, and have seen very little change. This has the capability to be the leading app and website blocker, but I find myself looking elsewhere for a company that is still growing instead of just sticking to the status quo.

I have had this app for about a year now . It’s not always simple to use but the customer service is really good if you need help . Once you understand how it works it’s actually really great . I also get so much relief from not wasting time on Facebook or such apps x

Absolutely gorgeous but not enough for free. I found this searching for a free website blocker. Am now drawn into it and I *love* it. Just what I need for basic productivity. However, you can only use it for up to 2 hours at a time in the free version. So, lots of scope for distraction there...

They will charge your credit card without your consent. They also don't allow you to remove your credit card information from their servers.

Freedom app was a godsend at first. Then I realized all I needed to do was log into safe mode and take away its permission to block things. Too easy to work around.

Have been using for years. I find freedom extremely beneficial to break unhealthy habits. Very effective and have thought of most ways to help overcome moments of weakness. Thank you! Ps. I paid a once off amount for the lifetime of freedom option, i had used it for several years when i made the purchase since it didnt force me into a subacription.

Freedom falsely markets their block tool as free but it is not. I downloaded the software but it did it not work. I also kept receiving pop-ups to upgrade. It is a complete waste of time. Try other block site tools for productivity and focus.

App does not work! Installed the app on my Windows and it literally would not open up.

Started a session via the website and:
1. It didn't restrict me from accessing the website (which is the app's main purpose)
2. With a simple click of a button I can cancel the session.

I try to use it on my laptop computer. It seems to work randomly, so seldom that it surprises me when it does! It is very easy for the addict in me to get around, and it doesn't block most of the websites that I want it to block. Spend you $40+ somewhere else.

Charged me $13.28 for a service I did not want. All.i did was download their app - I was looking for the Freedom Mobile app -and I got charged.

Freedom.to is a complete scam. They stole $40 from my card, which had already been expired for three months. How the heck does that even happen? On top of that, they won’t let me remove the card from my account, which is absolutely absurd and shady as can be.

I tried to delete my account three times to protect myself from future charges, but of course, their system is so messed up it wouldn’t even let me do that. I contacted support about this issue, and nobody responded for a whole week (still waiting).

This app is a joke. Their security is a nightmare, their customer support is non-existent, and their business practices are shady. Apps like this shouldn’t even be allowed on the App Store. I would avoid Freedom.to at all costs! Don’t waste your time or money on this app.

That is a very good app.
Its simple to use and it just does what it says.

Product doesn't work. Able to avoid restrictions through in-private browsing on mobile phone. Inconsistent on phone; sometimes blocks, sometimes doesn't. Purchased for food addiction; doesn't work, you can just close the program and it will allow you to go on any website.

never used, went for a refund but they fraudulently refused stating T&C but i made the purchase before they updated their T&Cs

Strap yourself in. These ones are special.

I get the avoidance of customer service to keep payments down, and avoid any of us having to communicate, but ffs, you need to make sure the website works half decently before this approach works. Just lost my fingertip scolling back 50 years of months just to put in my date of birth to register online to save me talking to them. After being on hold for 30 minutes having to talk to them. For a reference number. And to tell them the website doesn't work. I honestly couldn't push it any more, the life had clearly been sucked out of the poor lassie speaking to me way before she answered my call. I actually felt apologetic as soon as she answered.

I give up.

Honestly, it just doesn't work... it's clunky and slow. I can get passed it with ease. Way better options out there.
