Great experience!
Fabulous company! I had the usual nonsense from one of their big competitors - massively reducing their offer due to imaginary damage in the hope that I’d just accept it, so I got my phone back and tried Thrift instead. Was a bit nervous as they’re not a big name, but I needn’t have worried. They offered MORE than their competitor, and then rang me within hours of receiving my phone to confirm they would pay exactly what they offered. Money in my account by the next morning, what a great service. No messing around, no counter offers, no time wasting, wish I’d gone to them first!

I have still not received payment over a week later
Ive still not received payment over a week later……..
Ive sent my old phone off for them and the following day i received an email with an offer for a new price as this phone was battered there wasn’t an option for the condition of that phone it was smashed real bad but because of this they put an offer for a new price which I accepted as it was like £5 less than the quote I was given anyway, I’ve emailed to try and chase this but I’ve still not received payment, I’ve tried emailing using the email on the website to again chase up about the payment I have not had to get an automated email saying they couldn’t find the email address or it wasn’t taking emails

Checked a quote for my old Samsung a71…
Checked a quote for my old Samsung a71 they only had good or poor quality, I put in poor quality and they offered me £60, sent it in and they came back and said due to poor quality and the back being rough due to being in a case they reoffered me £12, a big letdown as I wouldn't of bothered sending it off for £12, I accepted tho as I could be bothered with the hassle, although saying this the whole process from quote online to getting paid took about a week so pretty good.

Really happy with the service provided
Really happy with the service provided. It was really quick and friendly. The payment came through fast and hassle free. I did not need to haggle and the price I received was very fair. I will definitely use frift again.

Flexible and Understanding
Very understanding and flexible with conditions of trade in device. Was able to price match and both shipping and packaging were delivered very quickly. Good communication as well.

Avoid. They stole my phone and they’ll steal yours too.
There will be reviews saying the dropped the price after receiving the phone. That’s normal. They all do that. However, this scam company sent me an email saying they were dropping their offer by £20. I accepted this and the next day I received a payment £70 lower. When I questioned this, I got fobbed off and my phone was no longer available to be sent back. So they basically stole my phone.
AVOID THESE SCAMMERS.

Great customer service
Sold my iPhone with ease, it was checked over quickly, they rung to confirm the full price will be paid & the money was in my account within 24 hours. Great & friendly customer service, will definitely use again.

Be cautious of high initial offers
I sent this company an IPhone 13 in immaculate condition, it was only 3 months old, as was an insurance replacement from O2. I was quoted £301. I was then sent a revised offer of £285 which was reluctantly agreed to as was only £16 less and was the equivalent of other offers from similar organisations.
After waiting 3 days, i received a payment of only 200 - a massive £85 short of the agreed figure.
After emailing the company, I asked for this to be corrected or my phone returned. The owner of the company did call me back and pay back the missing £85, and offered an explanation and apology around this being an admin error which I believed and accepted.

Very happy with the service and how quickly I was paid from Frift! I sent my phone to another company last week (I won’t name them!) who tried saying my device was faulty and lowered the value, so I had it sent back to me and saw good reviews here. Very please to have been paid what I was quoted online!

The £15 scam
The £15 scam. They will scam you into sending in your perfectly “excellent” rated phone, and then when they receive it claim it wasn’t up to their standard, but please accept the new offering £15 less.
Photos of a perfectly defect free phone, photos showing battery health above 80% (it was 83%), photos showing zero damage, it even had a tempered glass screen protector left on for free.
They know that by that time they already have your phone, and you’ll likely take their new reduced offer.
Just be warned - take their proposed offer and deduct £15 for the eventual £15 scam fee.
