Gosh, I never write reviews but just felt like I had to on this.
I have been a gardener and preserver of food for my family for 30 years. I ordered 2-8lb boxes of apricots to can homemade preserves this year. Apricot is my absolute favorite. I was so excited and waited months for my order.
It arrived. Packaging was great but I was worried about the tiny size of the apricots. I wrote to company concerned about blanching and removing peels from such tiny fruit. They were responsive and told me to blanch as I always have of stone fruits and tomatoes.
I did so. Even put an x on bottom of fruit.
No matter what I did, peels would not come off.
Thankfully I have a Vitamix to pulverize them but will have to give away and use right away because cannot store with skins in them.
I spent $150 on them and have maybe 8 cups of fruit to work with. Very disappointed and will not be a return customer.

got peaches shipped to me and only 2 in the box were not ruined- those 2 eatable peaches would not sell at walmart because they were very small - i live in texas ans these folks are ripping people off - people should not tolerate such a merchant on purpose cheating the puiblic

Unfortunately this company has a poor shipping policy and it is very expensive to ship. They only seem to ship 3 days a week and you will pay 39.00 to ship. I ordered a delivery on a Friday morning but the item did not reach the recipient until the Wednesday following in the evening and i paid for 2 day air. Very unsatisfied with their policy and customer service.

We ordered mixed fruit gift basket with apples and oranges. Pictures showed the order with apples and oranges. The email picture of the announcing the order arrived also showed picture with apples and oranges. We received apples and persimmons and one pomegranate. No oranges! When we called the person said that there was information stating we would get "what is in season". This was not apparent to me or my wife. We can only find it after searching and under FAQs. This should be made clearly visible upfront as soon as you start looking for gift fruit options. Apples were ok, but I am not a persimmon or pomegranate fan. :(

First off they arrived ready to eat and were delicious but 12 days in we have one left which still looks good. It has one spot as big as a dime that is starting to turn brown. Having grown peaches, I know that within two to three days, maybe 5 if you are lucky they start to rot. These are the twinkies of peaches.

Absolutely exceptional customer service and the fruit is the very best of organics.

I ordered a generous birthday gift for a dear friend. When the fruit box arrived it was made up almost solely of fruit that wasn’t ripe and never did ripen, even after ten days. Very disappointing and, head’s up, they don’t give refunds even if they fruit they delivered was inedible.

Ordered the Cali red peaches from Frog Hollow Farm last summer. The fruit arrived bruised with large brown areas that went through the peach. I complained and was offered a gift certificate instead of a refund. I recently used the gift certificate to purchase ten pounds of their Cara Cara oranges which should be in season right now. The oranges I received are dry and sour. They are hard to eat with very little juice and are not sweet at all. What a rip off. Will never order from these folks again.

Frog farm pumpkin pie is such a rip off!! First the pumpkin pie was mediocre at best. With shipping it was 96$. Go to Frishes and pay 13$ and it is so much better of a product!!! Could have bough 6 pies for the price of 1 frog pie!! Don’t waste your money!

I ordered peaches in’22. They said they were out and put in a backorder. I waited almost a year, got them in June ‘23. I paid about $150 for 30 something peaches, Which is about $5 a peach. I was willing to pay that much for FRESH peaches. I was thoroughly disappointed. They were very small and wrinkly. Not even edible they tasted horrible like something you would pull out of a Walmart dumpster. If it was a blindfold taste test, I would truly not have thought it was a peach. It tasted freezer burnt. I surmise that they were picked green and frozen. I called another company in CA to order peaches and they said that they were not ripe yet and won’t be ready till the end of July. Hmm. I also ordered passionfruit in ‘22 which were all covered in mildew. They said they would send me more passionfruit but I never got them and never heard from them . I would have never ordered from them again but I forgot about the back order peaches after so long of time. I fed them to my chickens.

Will never buy from this company!Go read all the terrible reviews at yelp and google.Bad fruit terrible CS not letting you cancel a subscription...Unbelievable!!They are not a trustworthy co..Surprised they are still in business.

I ordered cherries, peaches, and pears. Although it tends to be expensive, the fruit was in good condition and tasted good. I gave it to my friend as a gift and the recipient said it was good.

Great products and website. Ordered avocados, citrus, olive oil brownies (unbelievable) and it's all very good, fresh and well packaged. Had them ship from their base in California to two address on the East Coast -- twice -- and they know what they're doing. Plus, their web page is well organized and ordering is easy. Shipping updates timely. Highly recommend!
