Matthew and James did a superb job of laying cork flooring throughout my house. There was one tiny thing I was unhappy with - the colour of the mastic they used round my hearth - and within 24 hours they had replaced this for me with the perfect colour.

Matt & james are craftsmen, with attention to detail, skill & experience. They work hard and know their stuff. They made me feel in safe hands and can’t recommend enough.

From the Wood Flooring were recommended to us by a friend, as we were planning to replace our old carpet with engineered wood floors. We couldn't be happier with the service, highly professional and addressing all our questions and requirements. The results were excellent. So much so, we ended up recalling them a second time for the remaining rooms.

It was the second time Mathew put wooden floors in our home and always does a fantastic job. He is a pleasure to have in our home.

We were really pleased with the fitting and overall look of our new floor. The Carpenter came to the house and measured up, we had a quote and the floor was fitted within a month. He worked hard whilst in our home, he got on with the job. We had herringbone engineered oak which is more expensive to lay but it really does look amazing. He also gave us advice for cleaning and maintenance which was helpful. I wouldn’t think twice about using this Company in the future.

Excellent work, clean and efficient, we're very pleased with the finished work. Everything fits perfectly, the staircase with wood flooring is beautiful and there is a sense of unity and space in the house now. Communication was was easy and straightforward.

We would not hesitate to recommend From the Wood. Matthew is a magician when it comes to laying wood and cork flooring, and he is such a nice guy. We were so impressed with the flooring in every room downstairs, that we got him to do the same upstairs and on our stairs - we love it! (Seriously consider having your flooring laid underneath your skirting - it makes such a difference and is worth every penny).

Having personally seen the standard of work Matthew and his colleague had done on a relative's house I had no reservation in booking him up to lay herringbone flooring in my living and dining room.

Prompt email responses followed by excellent work being finished in a quick time means we are over the moon with the way it turned out. Can't recommend enough.
