Do not trust frontier. I've been with them for years and had to switch companies because of lagging and my Internet getting cut off a lot by the same accident that continues to happen. I called 3 times to cancel last month and the guy I talked to literally wouldn't let me just cancel. Said he would give me a free month to make sure I didn't want to stay and to wait and cancel after the free month was up and when I tried again cause I knew in my gut it was too good to be true cause nothing is free anymore and turns out it was. He also kept trying to put me on vacation mode instead ( which also charges a one time $ 40 fee plus monthly fees for equipment and other things) or offered to lower my bill to stay with them but I couldn't cause that still wouldn't help with the service issues. My cancellation bill is almost 100$. I have no late fees,no contract, returned equipment and everything. I never have gave them any problems but they can't help me out on one bill after 6 or 7 years of me being with them. When I call , all the representatives don't make any sense as to where these charges are coming from. They just talk fast and keep repeating themselves and all they want is a good review after phone call and to act like they helped with issue knowing good well they haven't.Also he gave me a day to cancel that was on a Sat. Well guess what, frontier isn't open anymore on weekends whether you need help with your Internet or not you have to wait til Monday to even speak to anyone for any reason. Now I'm being charged since it's already too late according to them but yet I asked many times to make sure I wasn't going to be charged and yet here I am after trying to cancel the day he told me and the other times I tried. I'm so tired of these companies being so greedy and not being loyal to loyal customers. I don't recommend them for good Internet or for good customer service. They know good and well it just takes a click of button to cut the bill down or make it whatever they want, but they refuse to make it make sense or help in any way. I wouldn't of had to leave if they would update areas (my area) and fix the problems that causing people to not have a normal running internet. I just wouldn't go with them if you have better options out there. I'm very disappointed with them and how I've been treated. Last time I called the lady I spoke with said to wait and see what my final bill in 2 or 3 months is what it takes after cancellation? I've already got the cancellation bill so why would I have to wait 2 or 3 months to see what my last bill will be and pay it then? Did that help me with reducing the bill or knowing where they get that amount at ? No, I'll owe the same amount it says now more than likely.Wish I could just be treated with actual help with my issue. I planned on coming back to them if needed or my other service doesn't work out but after all this frustration I don't think I will unless it's my very last option. As long as you do what they want you'll have no issues but if you need help or they have to do something you want , I highly doubt you'll be able to get help. ð§

They told me it would take 3 days, then 5 days, then 14 days, then 21 days, and the last 1 month. Next they will tell me 1 year. This is enough, stop lying and training all of your employees to lie to every single customer. Be honest .

Too bad you donât have zero rating, my internet went down on 10-14, I called customer service several times and also chat sessions, trouble shooting was unable to help, they scheduled a technician for 10-27 to come to my home, I told them 2 weeks was totally unacceptable, I use internet for TV, security, computer. I also explained that I am the sole care giver for my 93 year old father that lives with me and that I needed computer access, they didnât care. I received a text from them saying there was an outage in my area and they were working on it, customer service told me there wasnât an outage in my area, I asked them if they wanted me to forward the text message, they said no need, that I had to wait for the technician. Worst company I have ever dealt with, I cancelled and went with another company. Avoid at all costs.
A Company that will Rip You Off Whenever They Can
I had this company in Connecticut and then I moved so I cancelled my account and they first charged me an extra $10 to close the account and when I closed the account I asked if they wanted the equipment back and they said no and then 2 months later they want to charge $106 for non-returned equipment. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY GO ELSEWHERE IF POSSIBLE, THEY SUCK. They are also so stupid that I still have an account on their site and it shows the nest billing date for the account is in October and that's for an account that was cancelled as of June 25, 2022.

Had a very horrible customer service experience trying to cancel. 1-hour long chat because once I said I would not consider staying, they made the process really, really long. Asked for their PIN, made it sound like they were processing the order, then 10 minutes later asked for my passcode. When I told them I had already lost the chat by trying to browse their site to find numbers they told me to use another device. The more I expressed my frustration, the more questions the rep asked. I truly had the impression he was "playing games" because the messages were so trite and stupid. I highly UNRECCOMMEND them.

My first month with Frontier internet has been great. My installation tech Brian was on time and done very quickly. I've had no interruptions or problems.

My internet service needs to be hard wired in for a job I am set to start in less than a week. I am scheduled to receive Frontier internet today between 1pm - 5pm. At 2:00pm. Frontier called me and informed me that there is no way they can provide the service where I am located. I have already paid for the service. I cannot start my job now and they won't refund me for another 10 - 14 days.There is only one more internet provider available for me at my location. The other providers are more expensive and because of paying Frontier I don't have the money now to pay for a different provider. I chose Frontier and now I don't have internet,job,or money. They have completely devastated me. Please think twice before going to Frontier for your internet provider. This is the worst consumer situation that I have ever encountered. I give them a F+. SAY NO TO FRONTIER!!!!!

Much better then cable. Speed varies very little where as cable changes based on users on the hub.
Terrible Company
Cable is garbage, internet cuts out, and landline stops working randomly. Every single worker I talk to obviously does not care and doesn't want to help. Don't buy just because they're the cheapest option. Don't waste your money. Spend the extra dollar to get better service.

Frontier is terrible! Wifi, landline, and cable all freeze and go out randomly. A friend of mine also has Frontier. Her wifi goes out 3+ times a week, and when they called, they were told there's nothing that can be done, and that the wifi was rebooting. They wanted to charge me because my cable wasn't working and they told me it was an issue on my end. It's such a bad company. Everyone is lazy and doesn't want to deal with anything. There's probably only one worker that's helped me.

after signing up with their online/internet promotion of $100 gift cards, they decided they werenât going to provide the visa gift card. This is after a month of talking to customer service and the gift card redemption center. The best part was that the redemption center for the gift card already acknowledged that I was qualified and requested i mail the required billing statements. Even after submitting the paperwork and wasting my time, customer service said I didnât qualify because no reason!!?? I never heard back from the redemption center because the virus broke out and they werenât going be able to check mail.

If I could give Frontier minus 5 stars, I would. Works for a couple days after you complain....then internet is disrupted every couple minutes. Your bill comes okay though. They will tell you every lie imaginable. After a year and a half...I give up. They need to be sued and put out of business forever. I live in an apt complex...all of us have the same issues. Spend a little more and save yourself a lot of fustration ....pick another service. My internet only works for seconds at a time, makes even posting this a challenge ð.

The problem is always some issue at the Central Office. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this laughable "internet provider."

Zero stars, what a joke of a service. I could not sign up for Frontier with multiple tries and talking to technical support. So I had to call in to Frontier who charged me more per month on the plan quoted online, plus they could not give me the $100 gift card. Horrible service!!!!
Worst internet provider ever.
If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. Customer service was horrible - rude, unreasonable and ignorant. Was trying to establish service at my new address only to be told they don't service that address which was incorrect because the prior resident had service there. After multiple calls over the span of 2 weeks to different departments and the account information from the prior resident, they finally determined they do service the address. To set up service they ran a credit check without notifying me or getting my approval to do so. In order to get internet (Fios) you were required to setup telephone service as well. Service was setup 2 weeks later but was very unreliable. Internet was constantly down for extended periods of time. We cancelled service after 2 months and have been using mobile hotspot through our cell phone provider. Frontier has everyone in this area over a barrel because they own the lines and therefore are the only internet provider.
