My experience with a business

My experience with a business assignment for Mathias Seignette (founder) was disappointing. The project was completed as agreed, and I issued an invoice accordingly. Despite several reminders, payment and further follow-up have not taken place; a prolonged dispute about the delivery has arisen since. I advise other entrepreneurs to put all work agreements and acceptance criteria in writing, clearly define payment terms and escalation procedures, and keep all communication records.

Mijn ervaring met een zakelijke opdracht voor Mathias Seignette (oprichter) was teleurstellend. De opdracht is uitgevoerd volgens afspraak en ik heb daarop een factuur gestuurd. Ondanks herinneringen is de betaling en verdere afhandeling uitgebleven; er is sindsdien langdurig discussie over de oplevering ontstaan. Ik raad ondernemers aan: maak werkafspraken en acceptatiecriteria schriftelijk, spreek betalingstermijnen en escalatieprocedures af en bewaar alle communicatie.

I took a few packs of Frontier Rations with me on a 5-day camping and hiking trip through the mountains — and honestly, I was impressed.

These meals were lightweight, packed with energy, and actually kept me full, which is saying something after hiking 15–20km a day. Prep was simple (even when I was running low on patience or daylight), and the portions didn’t leave me feeling sluggish or overstuffed.

What I appreciated most: no weird aftertaste, no sugar crash, and my energy stayed steady throughout the trip. They clearly put thought into these — not just calories for the sake of calories, but food that works with your body when you’re really out there using it.

It’s the first time I’ve finished a ration pack and thought, “Yep, bringing this again.”
