We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. We do our best to provide clear and detailed information about how the MLS system works before anyone lists with us. In fact, we state in multiple places on our website — including the FAQs and the Terms & Conditions pages — that seller contact information cannot be displayed on public-facing MLS sites such as Zillow, Realtor.com, or Redfin. This is a rule set by the MLS and applies to all MLS listings, regardless of which company you use.

While it may seem frustrating, the MLS is designed to work through buyer agents, which is why inquiries typically come through those channels. Any leads received by the listing broker are promptly forwarded to the seller.

We truly regret that this wasn’t clearer to you before signing up, and we’re always happy to answer questions beforehand to make sure expectations are aligned.

To clarify, while FSBO.com provides the flat-fee MLS listing service and support, the actual MLS entry must be completed by a licensed local broker, as required by state and MLS regulations. Some of these brokerages may have their own internal policies—such as requesting a credit card for incidental charges or optional services—though this is not a requirement set by FSBO.com.
