From the first phone call to the fitting of my 12 panels and battery storage futureproof were exceptional, they arrived at 9am and left at 12;30 pm all done and dusted, I couldn't have asked for a better service I will recommend them to every one I meet who askes about my panels. Friendly service

I was a little unsure about solar panels, but I shouldn't have thought twice! Our initial chat with the representative of FutureProof Solar was so friendly and informative and without any pressure. The panels were fitted expertly yesterday by such friendly professionals - it was a joy to have them around! We are already exporting power to the grid and saving money! Huge thank you Sean.

I had 18 x 460w Aiko N-Type All Black panels (30-year output warranty), a 6kW Hanchu Hybrid Inverter, 9.4kWh Hanchu battery (both with 12-year warranties), plus a Dual Box for 2 x Solar PV systems all installed for just an amazing price – including full scaffolding, MCS certificate, DNO approval and HIES insurance.

Futureproofsolar were extremely efficient from start to finish. The install went exactly to plan, the team were professional and well-organised, and the system was up and running smoothly in no time. They even fitted bird mesh netting around the panels free of charge, which was a great added bonus.

Since installation, we've used zero electricity from the grid – the battery is perfectly sized to power the house through the night.

The system performs brilliantly, the Hanchu app is excellent and lets you see what the panels are generating, what your house is using, how the battery is charging/discharging, and the price was outstanding for what was delivered. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Future Proof Solar to anyone considering solar.

Really easy and stress free process throughout, Sean as Commercial Sales Manager helped us with our residential install, which at first might have felt like the wrong person due to his commercial role but he had fantastic customer service, was extremely knowledgeable throughout and happy to adjust options and take time to make sure we found the right package for us. And when you get such good customer service, sometimes you expect to pay a higher price for it… that doesn’t seem to happen here as the quotes I received for each different package I asked about were considerably cheaper than other national installers. I highly recommend them and the team who installed the panels were quick and efficient but also thorough and showed me through operation for a while before leaving. If you are on the fence, I cannot speak higher of the firm’s attitude to getting it right. My install consisted of a Hanchu 9.4kw battery system with a 5kw inverter and 12 Aiko Neostar 2s+ 460w’s. Came to a heavily market leading price compared to other providers. Do not hesitate to ask as many questions as you need with these guys, they will spend time and help guide you through it accurately and carefully!

The system completely crashed after just 18 months, even though we had reported issues multiple times before. Despite the contract clearly stating a 2-year warranty, they refused to honour it and charged a call-out fee every single time we reported a fault. This is unacceptable and shows a total lack of responsibility.
I strongly recommend looking for a different installer—there’s no real aftercare or accountability here.

So, you’ve come this far, to check out the reviews of Future Proof Solar and good on you for your due diligence.
Now do yourself the best favour that you have done yourself in years and make contact with them.
I could spend ages sitting here writing at my keyboard of just how good this company is, but at the end of the day it is down to you to pick up the phone and call them, I promise you won’t regret it.
I am still kicking myself I didn’t do this sooner.
The Positives of this company in my opinion and in my order;
A quoted price that you think is too good to be true, (when compared for like for like quotes from other sellers).
They have been in business a good length of time and a solid company by Company house Standards, with great public feedback and reviews.
There is No pushy sales teams (Nice formal chat just to see what you are looking for and go from there, and definitely no trying to oversell).
Responsive when you are trying to learn more, and a credit to every team member I came in contact with for the information imparted with, before during and after install.
Equipment Installed that is some of the best on the market.
Property visit time to suit you not them.
Install date and time kept to.
Professional installers, Clean and tidy with their work.
And last but not least, in my case, a system that is providing 3 times my energy needs in the winter months no less, and a feeling that at last I am making an impact to my environmental footprint.
I have 11 x 460W panels, plus inverter with a 9.4KWH Battery and I am producing over 26KW in the winter, yes, you read that right the winter, and by my basic understanding at peak could be producing close to 60KW on a really good summer's day.
I’ve gone on longer than I had planned But I will say it again because I believe this to be so true, do yourself a massive favour and ring them and I an sure you will end up with a system that you are as happy with, as I am with mine.

The installation of the solar panels and battery were carried out in less than a day. Very professional company, very friendly and I'm very happy with my installation. There was a small problem and the engineer was at our property within a day to rectify everything. After service as we are novices is amazing. Can fully recommend this company without a doubt!

Done in the day without any problems - great service and tidy job . All certificates sent as promised early days yet but looks like we will be saving a lot on our electric bill.

Buy with confidence

Looking over the market I found futureproofsolar and got a quote, it was one of the cheapest quotes, I was able to check all their credentials prior to even contacting them.

I was contacted by Liam who gave me multiple options of systems with some recommendations based on my usage. There was no hard upsell.

Liam submitted all the paperwork and sorted the DNO very quickly.
Scaffolding was put up by a nice group of lads, shows that they pre vet scaffolders prior to working with them.

The day of install came, they came nice and early, was very quick and did a very tidy job. After it was installed I was shown around the app and how to use the app.

The system was working on day 1, feeding into the battery and the energy my house was using. After I made the final payment I was sent the completion pack with the certificates. Liam offered to help me complete the export tariff sign up form over the phone.

FutureproofSolar was available over the phone and email to answer all my questions.

I would strongly recommend contacting Futureproofsolar if you are looking at getting solar and/or a battery installed.

System installed :16 x455w Akio all black panels (split 8&8 on either side of house), GivEnergy gen 3 5.2kw battery, GivEnergy 5kw hybrid inverter, bird netting, black rails, 10 GivEnergy smart plugs.

Excellent from start to finish.

I was initially attracted by their competitive quote however since then, more importantly, their quality of service and delivery did not fall short.

Despite me making several changes to the plan, I was accommodated at every stage with advice, new additional quotes etc.

On install day the team arrived on time, were friendly and polite and made an extremely tidy job of the installation on both the roof and battery/inverter.

Subsequent to the installation, all of the paperwork came through unbelievably quickly so I’ve been able to set up my energy tariffs to include the battery and solar export already.

Couldn’t recommend Future Proof Solar enough!

I must admit that I’m one of the fussiest Customer’s any Company could have to deal with, as I’m quite OCD and like a Tidy Finished Job. “Future Proof Solar” have installed me a PV System with Battery, that more than meets my Expectations! The Low Price, Positive Reviews and a Personal Recommendation from a Good Friend, was what first drew me to them and they’ve been more than Fair throughout the whole process, from Start to Finish! What you have to remember when choosing a Company to spend your hard earned cash with, is also think about the After Sales Service? - To be Honest, there was a few things they had to come back to finish off, but it was all done in Good Time and with a Smile on their Faces. I feel Confident that all the Work they’ve done is up to and possibly even beyond MCS Standards and I’ve now got a Great Solar Set-Up that’s “Future Proof”, just like their name! - A Definite 5/5 Company, that puts their Customer’s First. We had our solar system installed last month and couldn’t be happier. From first contact to completion everything was fantastic. No high pressure sales, Pav answered all my questions. Installation day was great and everything went well, Luke and Reece were amazing & very knowledgeable, we’re delighted with everything, the installation was very professional and neat. They had issues with our Internet set up and stayed really late to finish the job. Everyone in the company we we dealt with was top notch and the pricing was very competitive. I did a huge amount of research before getting our system and I’m 110% happy, no sales pressure to add on a lot of extras like other companies did.
I would definitely recommend them and already have to friends that will be getting a solar system.
