What a poor experience, great fashion as always and great staff in general.
However I would consider going to somewhere else for wedding suit hire.
This was a very disappointing and off brand experience. The lady managing this section failed from the initial meeting.
Passive aggression is unacceptable, didnt offer choices, made them for us. We were a nuisance or so it felt. Not only did she sell the Groom's shoes but he was without his suit up to the morning of the wedding. This is not Galvin's.
So disappointing.

Delighted with the service and quick delivery. My husband is very happy with his new lacoste polo shirt and at a great price too.

We bought two pairs of jeans from Galvin, Tullamore a couple of weeks ago. According to the labels, the jeans were identical. After the first wash, we discovered that one of the pairs had already been taken up (the legs shortened). This was not visible at the time of purchase and was only obvious once worn and washed. Galvin Tullamore refused to accept a return because the jeans had been washed, stating that they could not resell them. That is not our fault. The issue exists because they failed to check their stock before putting altered jeans out for sale. The manager offered half-price store credit, which we did not accept. They made the mistake, yet attempted to make us absorb the loss. This offer also implied a lack of trust in our honesty, which is unacceptable. I presented two pairs of jeans bought at the same time: one completely correct, the other clearly altered. If we had altered them ourselves, why would we alter only one pair and not the other? Where is the common sense? This situation exists solely because Galvin Tullamore’s quality control and internal processes failed, and instead of resolving their error properly, they chose to make it the customer’s problem. I will not set foot in this shop again. For anyone who continues to shop there, check the stock carefully before purchasing, because Galvin Tullamore cannot be relied upon to do so themselves.
