We’ve used Gardner Champion Solicitors, particularly Anis, for a number of commercial property matters including purchases and lease work.

Anis has always been great to deal with very professional, thorough, and easy to work with. He explains things clearly, keeps everything moving, and makes sure nothing gets missed, which is exactly what you want when dealing with commercial property.

What I’ve appreciated most is how reliable and responsive he is. You always feel like things are in safe hands, and that he genuinely cares about getting the best outcome for you.

Absolutely awful solicitors, extremely unprofessional. please avoid at all costs.Dealing with my divorce, they never answer calls, take weeks to respond to emails give no information on any progress until the last minute and then aren't prepared for court hearings! Incomplete paperwork as they are never available to give advice on what you need to provide.
My Solicitor retired during the proceedings and tried to pass me on to a solicitor within the group who did conveyancing and had no family law experience. So he got sacked and I left this hopeless money grabbing company. I am now lodging a complaint to the Law Society, and their ombudsman. fastest he ever worked for me was when he sent me the bill the very next day. Please avoid this company at all costs. I had to give 1 star as zero wasn't an option.

I wanted to leave an honest review, as in a large firm it’s the staff who truly make the experience—and this was certainly the case for me.

Two individuals in particular went above and beyond:

Saba Sadia – From start to finish, she was absolutely fantastic. She responded incredibly quickly to all enquiries and was always available by phone or email whenever needed. Her dedication and communication made the entire process much smoother.

Nahal Allahhi – Nahal took over my file on the day of completion while Saba was on annual leave, and I was extremely impressed. Despite delays and unprofessionalism from the other side’s solicitors, she ensured everything was completed successfully. What stood out most was her commitment—she stayed beyond working hours to finalise all paperwork and transactions.

I genuinely want to thank both of these professionals for such an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend Gardner Champion Solicitors—their team truly makes all the difference

We used Gardner champion as our conveyancer and the service was awful. Our exchange was delayed by 8 weeks from the original agreed date and their communication was poor. They were incredibly slow to reply to emails and I was constantly chasing them up over the phone but this also took a long time to get through. There were also instances where they failed to send off documents which caused further delays. Overall, we were very disappointed with the company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Professional and informative from beginning to end. Anis who I dealt with has been practicing for a long time therefore we were in good hands. Definitely recommend and will use in future.

poor communication. My solicitor doesn’t respond to my emails or phone calls. Doesn’t provide updates either. I’d not recommend this company.

Great Company and excellent service. We were very happy with the timescales and the process. They just took care of everything we needed them to. My go to Solicitors moving forward

I was instructed on a time-sensitive commercial conveyancing matter and received the initial client care email on 13 January 2026. From that point onwards, I emailed the assigned solicitor, Anis, multiple times over several days simply asking for confirmation that the seller’s solicitors had been contacted.

Despite repeated follow-ups, no response was received at all. There was no update, no explanation, and no acknowledgement nothing. This lack of basic communication caused unnecessary delay and frustration in a matter where timing was critical.

What is particularly concerning is that I later received confirmation from the firm’s onboarding team that my ID checks had been completed, yet there was still no communication from Anis during this period. If there were internal reasons for delay, these were never explained.

Only after I submitted a formal complaint did Anis respond immediately. The firm then:
• Accepted termination of the instruction
• Issued an apology
• Agreed a full refund of fees
• Confirmed data erasure

While I appreciate that the complaint was resolved once escalated, clients should not have to raise a formal complaint just to receive a reply. Basic communication is fundamental, especially in commercial conveyancing.

Based on my experience with Anis, I would not recommend proceeding unless you are prepared to chase persistently or escalate early.

I had an excellent experience with this company. My solicitor Amna supported my transaction through a number of challenges and handled each one with patience, professionalism, and real determination. I was kept informed throughout the conveyancing process. I’m personally happy with email communications but could talk to Gardner-Champion solicitor if desired. A very professional service.

This is an update of a previous review. I used their services recently and they were superb. They pulled me out of hole that the previous conveyancing company dropped me into. My advice is get a solicitors not a dedicated conveyancing company, because when things go wrong a flexible knowledgeable solicitors are going to be the ones sorting things out. Great people, great company, I will be returning!

Having seen " behind the curtain" I would like to recommend this company. I appreciate that you are looking for conveyancing, likely weighing quality and price to make a decision. Can I introduce
"culture and caring". I encountered a bump in the road with these guys, through no fault of their own and perhaps due to the plethora of platforms that earn their money referring people like you and me to a conveyancing solicitor. In short, Gardner Champion went out of their way to fix issues they did not create; they appeared genuine, concerned, and knowledgeable. I am sure this approach will continue in the work they will do for you. I don't often write reviews like this, but given that organisational culture is my profession, maybe my words might resonate a little even if you, the reader, do not know me! After many conversations with them, they appear to be the " real deal" and have an approach which stands out from the crowd in a positive way.

Only negative thing is total cost increase from what I was quoted. I feel I should have been informed.
