Read every inch of the shipping small print, I'm waiting 6 weeks for a back up, from initial order thought it was going to be quick turnaround
Blunt and unhelpful responses to emails, asking to cancel order and get a refund! Will never use this lot, and I've advised friends and family not to use them as well.

It should have an option to not choose stars…my complaint it’s basically like everyone else in here, not happy with the product they advertise didn’t read the reviews, the product I bought has misleading images and same packing box from a big company well known but cheap terrible quality and no refunds one email replied saying no refunds only for damaged items. Now I went through PayPal …. Don’t buy it from them it’s a scam I left without £136.50 it’s not a uk base company … also takes ages to arrive from the purchase date.

I recomend not using this company. i bought a solidstate hard drive. it was poor quality. it did not work and I requested a return immediately.

Their SSD drives they sell, ant SSD drives, mine packed up or went corrupt after putting my first files on it. So I opened it up to find a SD card just wired up In the case, and no they wouldnt refund me, even stopped replying to my emails, even though telling them us In the UK are covered my our consumer rights, and they told me I wasnt. SCAMMERS. SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!

i ordered a hearing aid priced at £169 and the specifications listed were the sole reason for the purchase as they fulfilled my requirements. When the item was receivedit was a completely different spec item which was priced significantly lowere than the original order. when i contacted GearTech Customer Services i was informed that the was no replacement, terun and refund possiblity. the items in their opinin would do me just as well although they do not know my medical history or needs .
After several failed attempts via email to get what i had originally purchaqsed. they stopped replying.
I would not reccommemd thyese people at all, in fact stay well away from them. Save you money time and effort these people are complete cons.

Scam site. It looks like they use AI bots to avoid adhering to Consumer Contracts Regulations. They will not honour 14 day grace periods. I got burned slightly with a poorly functioning product.

Be warned - NEVER BUY ANYTHING from Gear Tech UK!

I purchased a robot vacuum from Gear Tech UK in 2005 for £53. I was fooled by the reassuring information on their website - all of which is nonsense!

The item I received was completely different to the one I ordered. Smaller, a different colour, less substantial, with much shorter battery life.

When I contacted Gear-tech UK customer support, I had to send a picture of the item, and I also shared the original listing - it was clearly for a very different product from the one I received. They refused to issue a refund, saying the package had been opened! When I persevered, pointing out that if I didn't open the package, I wouldn't know that the item wasn't what I ordered, they said it would be very difficult to return the item and that I'd have to pay more than £30 to do so.

After many, many frustrating emails, they finally offered a credit note. Rather than completely waste the money, I ordered a few 'useful' items - a phone-charging cable, an outdoor light, and a bike light. The bike light never arrived. Since then, I have had another lengthy and frustrating email exchange with what I can only assume is an AI bot, as none of the responses from Gear Tech UK customer support relates to the information I am providing.

After 2 weeks and 21 emails, today's reply stated: 'After carefully reviewing the details of your order and the date of delivery, we must kindly inform you that the request has been made outside of our 14-day warranty and coverage period for reporting damaged or defective items. According to our policy, this timeframe is established to ensure that any potential issues with a product can be evaluated and resolved promptly after delivery.'

The item wasn't damaged because it never arrived. The endless loop continues...

Do not purchase anything from this company, I ordered one thing and got another and In worn packaging. When contacted they refused to acknowledge it and kept saying that sometimes you don’t get what you ordered???? Great not, I can’t believe they are allowed to do this . How is it possible to run a business like this, don’t be fooled by great website it’s all show but not deliver. I am in for this kind of businesses to be ended asap, help do not buy.

I agree this company are terrible. The gloves I ordered arrived without all the parts and with no instructions. After buying the parts ourselves, the gloves still don't work. We have been emailing customer services for 3 months but we haven't received a refund. I have tried to leave a bad review on their website but I think this will be deleted. Hope people check here before buying like I wish I had!

Never buy from this company...their business address is England but refused to refund when I wanted to cancel order before shipment . They do not answer emails asking for details of CEO for complaints ...they do not comply with our British laws on refund ....shocking lack of response to complaints...if I could score zero I would

Wish I had checked on here before ordering! Made a mistake in my purchase but told I couldn’t return the product as there was nothing wrong with it. Plus return of even a small item could cost £70! WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN

Not even worth 1 star! I recently purchased an item from this seller, and unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. First, the item I received was not as described. The quality, appearance, and overall condition did not match what was advertised on the listing. It was clear that what I received was not what I paid for, which was frustrating enough on its own. What made the situation worse was the response from customer service. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I was told that if I wanted to return the item, I would have to pay additional money for the return shipping, and the process could take up to 30 business days to complete. On top of that, I was informed that they do not issue quick refunds “as per their policy.” Waiting that long for a refund—especially when the mistake was on their end—is completely unreasonable. As an alternative, they offered me a 20% partial refund, which is simply not acceptable given that the item was not as described. Consumer rights simply not adhered to by this company! Overall, this has been a very poor customer service experience. Buyers should be aware of the return policy and the potential difficulty in getting a fair resolution if something goes wrong. I would not recommend purchasing from this seller based on my experience.

AVOID at all costs! Scammers with a misleading UK email address but based in South America. Electronic boxing toy ordered but wildly differed to the advertised pictures showing it to be big and robust. Turned out to be small plastic piece of crap with tinny sounds and not fit for purpose as something for your hand to hit as a boxing toy. We demanded a refund. Denied. They then offered a 50% refund - as if paying £45 for a piece of useless plastic rubbish was fair? Went through PayPal and was turned down after their labyrinthine process of uploading evidence which cost more of my time than the £85 for the shitty item. AVOID this company or regret it.

I'm only giving one star as there's no option to give zero. I bought a reversing camera for my motorhome, which didn't work with either of the recommended apps, I contacted the company and over a few months they asked me the same questions, back and forth the emails went, until I asked for a new camera or refund and they said I'd bought the camera months ago so they'd give me neither. Cowboys.

Really regret my order. I bought the robot mop and it’s quality is appalling. Refused to accept my return in the first instance and then when they finally did (several emails later and this is when the item was completely unused) you have to pay the postage back to China. Left feeling completely scammed.

If I could choose below one star I would. I bought a dog tracker on behalf of my 89 year-old mother to give her peace of mind when her dog is out with the dog walker. It was advertised as a product that allows you to be worry free as your dog explores. However, it disconnects as soon as you move two metres away from it. I requested a return and refund, and after a number of emails was finally offered a credit note, which is of no use given the item doesn’t do what it was supposed to do. The product was not fit for purpose and the response appalling. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

This company is a disgrace , when this company sends you a different product than the one advertised get in contact with the police fraud office and get a crime number , it is illegal to do this , it is called bait and switch , when you have done this escalate the complaint immediately , I got about a 40% refund from the crap they sent me and tell as many people as possible about these crooked web sites

Do not buy from this company. I ordered the plasma ball which, when it arrived, was an inferior version of a plasma ball which bore no resemblance to the image on the website. The product was also damaged with a loose wire in the base of the product.

Having contacted the "customer service" email address to return the product I was then firstly lied to, saying that I couldn't return the item. They then tried to convince me to accept a much smaller 10% refund. Then strung the process out for weeks and made it as difficult as possible to return the item (no return address is provided until they email the return label to you). After I stuck to my guns and returned the item and they had strung out the process are far as possible, they then advised that the return had been processed however over 6 weeks later the refund was still not received and I had to pursue a refund via Paypal.

I'd recommend not buying from Gear Tech unless you want to be strung along and scammed with inferior products. As far as I can tell from my experience their whole business model is to send cheap inferior products that have been mis-advertised, then hope that people either accept the product or dont know their rights regarding returns/refunds so that they can avoid giving any refunds.
