Just received another delivery from the boys at George Street Furnishers, Jacob and Gareth, very polite and curtious, both looked immaculate in GSF uniforms, took the bed upstairs for me, they offered but I had to refuse them assembling the bed due to not having the room ready for it yet. Gave both men a coffee to help them with their day, I have two words, OUTSTANDING SERVICE.... GSF be very proud of this delivery team!!! If only other companies had the same ethos.

The pergola instructions are absolutely rubbish,rudimentary drawings, no actual step by step instructions, we had 3 friends used to diy and have many combined years of experience in assembling multiple items, this almost beat us! We bought a pergola with lights, light installation is not even in the instruction manual, very poor and I mean very poor installation guide, online instructions conflicted with the instructions provided. Come on George st, give some proper instruction manuals, this instruction manual is by far the worst any of us have ever seen!!!!
Sales staff and delivery people were brilliant hence the 3 stars

We came to buy a Pergola, paid half heard nothing chased and chased after 4 weeks to be promised by the manager of the store it would be next in line.
10 weeks later still no communication so asked for our money back , no apology no excuses no nothing. Absolutely appalling , no customer service. Would avoid this shop like the plague

Just finished install of the Saturn Pergola we bought from here. Marcus helped us with design and a great AI image which sealed the deal. He also kept us up to speed with delivery and was always available during the installation. The build quality is outstanding - highly recommend Marcus and the team at George Street Furnishers.

George Street Furnishers went above & beyond, holding stock for me due to an unexpected (and lengthy) delay at my end. The customer service was brilliant from start to finish. My very competitively priced pergola was installed by their specialist installers who were also fantastic, again providing a top notch service, even organising some pre-fabricating so the pergola would fit exactly where I wanted. They tidied up after themselves, were polite and worked hard and one could see that they were experienced as they knew exactly which bits went where.

Visited the store in September 2025.
Furniture on sale is quality and mostly at a good price.
We saw two matching sofas that suited all our needs, selected a colour placed an order and paid 50% deposit.
It’s now mid January 2026 and still no delivery, after many calls, enquiries and unanswered messages we now find out that delivery will be at least another month.using the Christmas two week holiday window is no excuse for the long delay on delivery nor the customer service from the department.

Bought a pergola. The two delivery guys were very friendly and extremely helpful.

The pergola assembly instructions were not the best, but the person I bought it from at George Street, Marcus, and his colleague, Bart, were extremely helpful on the phone talking me through various steps, and they also sent a video.

I don’t often write reviews, but the after sales service was so good that it definitely deserves a mention.

If we could give 10 stars we would ! We purchased a garden pergola from GSF and we are so pleased with it! It’s a fantastic addition to our garden.
From the beginning of our search to the actual purchase, the company have been professional informative and provided first class service. Regrettably we chose an external ‘tradesman’ to install the pergola - big mistake on our part - the man butchered the structure and our property.
We contacted Marcus from GSF and he was immediately reassuring and said they would do what they could to repair the damage. They carried out a thorough inspection of the damage. Dismantled everything and rebuilt from the start - replacing damaged (by so called tradesman) parts as required. We wish we had gone with Marcus from the get go - please do not make the mistake we did and let the professionals set it up for you. Thank you Marcus and the team !!

We recently purchased a garden pagoda and gas bbq from here and opted to have it professionally installed. The service we had during the sale was very easy and professional. The item was delivered on the agreed date and Marcus, who sold us the product also came to install it. The work was completed in a few hours and looks great in our garden. Would highly recommend this company.

Recently purchased a pergola from George street warehouse.
What a transformation this had made to our garden.
Yes. They are not cheap but the quality is exceptional.

We recently bought a pergola from here and we found that the service was exceptional.In the store Marcus was very knowledgeable and friendly which made choosing a pergola and accessories much easier.The pergola was erected by Celtic Installations, they did an amazing job with Marcus in charge. Overall this has been an excellent experience with brilliant service and a special thanks to Marcus for all his help.

Bought a pergola and service was second to none. Very knowledgeable from the guys who explained all information and care before I went ahead. Also recommended fitting from Celtic installations who I must say were fantastic. Worth paying the extra to them to install as the service was exemplary. We paid the fitters after they completed job and it was fantastic service worth the extra money. Thanks for service and great product

I telephoned this Company on two occasions but nobody answered. I left 2 telephone messages and sent an enquiry by email but no one has got back to me. Not only rude but extremely bad for business.

Edit: I've had a reply to my email, so all good.

We purchased a pergola and during the purchase Luke explained fitting was an extra £750. During the sale I asked several times was the final price everything all in, he on several occasion said yes. Taking into consideration we spent £7500 on the pergola and a table which was £1199. The fitters called me yesterday and said the fitting was £1000 not £750. I asked why and the fitter explained because I had sides and sliding panels fitted which were extra. I was not happy saying I thought I had already paid for fitting. However this was not the fitters fault. I called to try and speak to Luke but got through to his boss who to be honest had the customer service if a gnat. He would not let me talk to tell him the story which just agitated things. He then informed me that there were several signs around the shop saying about fitting costs. I find it difficult to understand that you will push your products and get them paid for without explaining the real costs, which may I add were not on my receipt. It’s just stated fitters will be in touch to fit. I explained the table and chairs were part of my budget for the garden and if I new the fitting was not included for the pergola or had been increased then I said I would have left the table and chairs. His reply was send them back then. I said but they have been outside all week in the weather. He said don’t worry they are for outside.
So they are coming to pick them up. I thought maybe as I am head of quality for a major company they would have at least tried to see my side of the issue and possible said sorry and we will learn from it. But no we will come and collect and look at the signs next time.
I really thought the shopping there was great, nice to see physical items rather than on the internet. George street furnishers you get a 1 out of 5 for customer service.

great shop and staff very friendly, Even offered free parking as was in store longer , so impressed and very fast delivery, excellent well worth a visit.

was looking for a new hardwood cabinet sturdy enough for a family of 4. I went inside with my two youngest children. We was probably inside the store for about an hour or so , as my kids were enjoying running around to look. However when I left the store I saw that a note had been GLUED to my windscreen with what appears to be strong adhesive glue!! My husband has tried multiple times to remove this but he seems to get nowhere. On the drive home it was blocking my view and could have gotten me and my kids killed!!! I came here two other occasions prior this week as I found one I particularly liked , and we didn’t seem to have this issue! I did not pay for parking as it free for the first few hours. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

Great selection of quality outdoor furniture. Nice pergolas as well. Really knowledgeable sales staff and great prices. Got everything I wanted for a good price and delivered fast.

Great showroom, great sales staff.. very helpful but not pushy. A real gem!!
