It's ok I guess
It's ok I guess. Not great. It's not good for carving meat or filleting. I prefer a traditional long, straight edge for carving. The edge is sharp, not sure now long it will retain the edge for. I find that it has very limited use. I didn't pay full price, so I can't complain too much. I got what I paid for.

Not a proper chefs knife
The knife looks and feels very nice but I find the angle of the fat blade no good for slicing vegetables. For vegetables I use a proper chefs knife. Today when trying to fit a small lambs leg in my slow cooker, I needed to cut through the bone to make it fit. I then thought of this knife with its heavy fat blade to use like a cleaver. How wrong I was, it just broke big chips out of the blade and now I can’t find one of those the sharp metal chips, thinking it could be in the food.

Very poor edge
Like a lot of these knives, don't fall for big discounts.
You will get what you pay for, and in my case, the edge is far too brittle and chipped beyond repair.
Personally, I'd avoid.....

Avoid, terrible service
The worst customer service I’ve ever came across. Evasive and dishonest from the start.
I have returned their product weeks ago and have proof of delivery with Royal Mail and Klarna and they still are dragging this whole process out by saying they haven’t received it.
I clicked on a photo of a knife and bought it, Huusk rang me shortly after asking me why I’d bought a leather sheath when they haven’t got me as a customer of theirs for a knife.
I said I clicked on a knife image so i thought I had bought a knife, asked if I could swap the order over to a knife and was told no, so I requested they cancel the order and they also said no again.
I then sent an email requesting they cancel the order under the distance selling act, they said they couldn’t do that as it was being processed for dispatch.
I got the dispatch notification 2 days later so they could’ve cancelled it easily.
So I requested to return it, got ignored, emailed again requesting a return, nothing back, so I put a dispute in with Klarna and 20 minutes later they sent me an email with the returns process, I filled it in, they gave me an address, I took the unopened box to the post office, opened the box so the post office staff could see it was in perfect condition, because I just knew there would be a problem.
What they wanted me to do was send it back, and keep my money and pretend they hadn’t received it.
The first problem was Royal Mail couldn’t get access to deliver the order back to them, so I emailed and asked why would Royal Mail have an issue getting access to their address. After 2 weeks, Royal Mail did get access and the parcel was shown as delivered.
At every stage I’ve updated Klarna with the whole rigmarole and they have recorded that the parcel was delivered.
I wait another 2 weeks after delivery confirmation and I asked why have you not told Klarna you have received your parcel back, and they’re now saying they haven’t received the parcel back!
They breach consumer rights and are totally dishonest.
It’s beyond me why you need more details to assist me! You’ve not replied to my last email and you know who I am, but for the sake of Trustpilot, it is order 21892863, a leather matsato sheath, you received it back on the 27th of November from Royal Mails Tracked 24 with signature service.
You have your product back, stop being evasive and dishonest and inform Klarna and end this ridiculous nonsense

But the Huusk is totally different, I mean I tried to slice a super ripe tomato and it just slid right through without any squishing and my wife she could not believe it. We cooked a huge roast last night and the cuts were so clean it really resolve the issue of having ragged meat whenever we serve guests.

Really low quality knife
Really low quality knife. Does have a sharp edge out the box but rapidly blunts. The handle feels cheap and unfinished - certainly not oak.
When you look at the blade the grinding is inconsistent with parts being heavily ground and others being thinly.
In terms of the metal it’s very low quality low carbon steel, certainly not Japanese steel. In fact made in china.
In my opinion save your money and buy a better knife

MISLEADING KNIFE
The advert on the telly makes them look like mini samurai swords. They are supposed to cut through most things fast. What a con. Tried to cut a tomato like they do on the telly. The knife is not very sharp at all. It's not as advertised. Its a pathetic blunt knife. I would not buy this product again.

EINMAL UND NIE WIEDER!!!
Ich habe im September 2022 ein Messer + eine Tasche bestellt. Geliefert wurde mir ein Messer und ZWEI Taschen, berechnet wurden mir entsprechend auch alle 3 Dinge. Weder auf dem Umschlag noch darin fand ich mehr Infos über den Verkäufer, geschweige denn eine Information bzgl. eines Kontaktes, mit dem ich mich wegen der Falschlieferung in Kontakt hätte setzen können (Rückgabeschein). Nur eine Absenderadresse, mit der ich nichts anfangen konnte.
Zur Qualität: Das Messer wackelt im Griff und macht einen billigen Eindruck.
Laut Impressum sitzt das Unternehmen in Litauen. D.h. der deutsche Verbraucherschutz konnte mir nicht helfen. (Vor Jahren gab es auf deren Homepage auch noch einen Link zum Verbraucherschutz, der allerdings ins Nichts führte.)
Daraufhin setzte ich mich das erste Mal mit dem Kundensupport in Verbindung. Ich bekam entweder keine Antwort oder wurde nur vertröstet. Zusätzlich bekam ich fast täglich unseriöse Anrufe von Personen mit stark asiatischem Akzent, die mir einen Schleifstein verkaufen wollten. Ich erzählte ihnen von meinem Problem, man versprach zu helfen, aber nichts passierte. Ich habe im Laufe der Zeit ca. 50 verschiedene Telefonnummern blockiert, bis der Telefonterror endlich aufhörte!
2024 versuchte ich es über den Kunden“support“ nochmals. Dort jedoch stellte man sich dumm/quer und zeigte sich unglaublich unflexibel. Juliana B. von support[at]get-huusk.com bestand auf mehr Informationen und konnte angeblich in ihrem System nichts mehr finden. Zudem bestand sie darauf, dass die 60 Tage Rückgabe bereits verstrichen seien. Ich versuchte ihr mehrmals die Sachlage klar zu machen, was aber NICHTS geholfen hat. Sie bestand außerdem auf eine Bestellnummer, die ich damals nicht mal erhalten hatte. Immerhin wurde eine Sendungsverfolgungsnummer bzw. meine Bestellung im System gefunden... was mir aber auch nichts geholfen hat.
Der Gipfel war folgender Absatz:
„Zu diesem Zeitpunkt haben wir weder eine Rückgabeanfrage noch eine Bestätigung für die Rückgabe des Artikels erhalten. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Bestellung innerhalb der in unseren Rückgabebedingungen angegebenen Frist zurückgegeben werden muss, damit wir eine Rückerstattung durchführen können.“
In der Email danach fragte sie mich dann nach genau der Sendungsverfolgungsnummer, die sie mir in der Nachricht davor selbst geschickt hatte. Sie stellte sich unwissend und war keinem Argument zugänglich. Die blöde bin ich jetzt als Kundin.
Ich hoffe, dass ich mit dieser Bewertung anderen helfen kann, nicht auf diese Betrugsmasche hereinzufallen!
Messer wie das von Huusk gibt es auf anderen Plattformen für einen 5er hinterher geschmissen, was ich bei einer späteren Recherche feststellen musste.
