As an early adopter I am a big fan of what LATE has brought to the table. Previously self hosting my own social media management tool was a big hassle dealing with API key access, this is just such a simple tool to use and I LOVE the web dashboard, honestly I use the dashboard more than the API itself even since it's so convenient!

I still think the killer feature has to be automatic media optimization for per-platform limits. With our previous hosted solution this was the absolute biggest hassle for us and LATE makes this so easy!

Originally I was running into many posting errors, but over time I have found the reliability of the platform continues to improve.

When I saw late on appsumo, I reached out to ask if they had automatic music available for TikTok carousels. Within days I received a message saying they added the option, so I was pleasantly surprised and purchased a plan via appsumo + analytics add-on (both lifetime).

I appreciate that it's a social media tool that doesn't try to shove AI down my throat. However as somewhat a beginner/non-coder I find it incredibly hard to use. The CSV bulk upload does not support all functionalities for all platforms (e.g. you can't set a Pinterest title or link and you can't toggle to automatically add music to image TikTok uploads) with no idea when those will become available. Manually uploading is a possibility, but then I might as well do that to the app directly. Bulk was a huge selling point for me and now I sadly can't use it for most purposes I purchased the tool for.

Support is sometimes quick, other times I waited more than a month for a reply.

I'm extremely unhappy about the inbox add-on being only offered as HEFTY subscription. After offering the lifetime options on Appsumo, to me that seems predatory, and feels like a way to get more money out of Appsumo buyers, and I really don't appreciate it. It also makes me question how much more money they want from their customers in the future, even with the understanding of purchasing a lifetime license which is supposed to include all future plan updates. Yes, I know the inbox is a separate expense for all plans but to me that feels like a workaround on the Appsumo deal.

Priceing are outrageous; you have to pay for expensive add-ons to get basic functionality.

I advise against this product, as you never know what the future holds, what new surprises await you.

It's better to look for other alternatives that don't come with surprising prices.

Best value-for-money third-party social media API on the market right now. The recent feature updates have been impressive — they keep improving at a fast pace. If you need a specific feature, just ask. They actually listen and add it to the system within hours. Highly recommended.

I've been using getlate.dev for a while now, and the experience has been solid. The APIs are reliable, well-documented, and integrated seamlessly into our stack. Whenever I've had a question, the support team has been incredible—fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find a dev tool that nails both the tech and the customer service. Highly recommended.

I've had many problems the my first week using this. At first it posted the same video 4x, then it wasn't posting at all. Had to reconnect all my accounts, then it worked ok for a few days, now again not working. I literally am afraid to pay my VA to schedule things as when Late breaks again (as history will show) I have to go in and reconnect all the accounts on each post on there superrr slow and laggy interface. I think I am giving up and on the prowl for another scheduler sadly.

Despite my bitter experience, I gave it another shot and the tool works pretty well.

Updating to 3 stars. Hopefully 5 stars next if they finally listen to the complaints.

I bought the T4 of Late on Appsumo.

I tried using it for a few days but ran into a bunch of issues with the YouTube quota. They kept saying it wasn't their problem, but it turned out it actually was—they sent an email a few months later saying they'd finally fixed it.

When I originally purchased it, X was included. Then they removed it and made it a separate one-time add-on. They did the same thing with Analytics.

I checked it out at the time and saw both add-ons (X and Analytics) available for purchase. There was no countdown or urgency messaging or anything like that.

Since I wasn't really using the platform because of the quota bugs and the X feature being removed, I decided to just set it aside for a while.

A few months went by and I thought, "Hey, maybe things have improved by now—let me give it another shot." But when I logged back in, I noticed they weren't honoring the original Analytics add-on terms for Appsumo customers. I reached out via email to ask about it, and they just replied with a flat "no."

They are outstanding! Constant updates, top-notch support, and seamless scheduling across all platforms. I have looked into competitors and they are nowhere near when it comes to ease of use, integrations and constant updates. 100/10

nearly impossible to cancel your subscription, predatory of them, they essentially block you from your account if you miss a payment and then you can only cancel it once you 'update payment' meaning you will have to pay for that month to cancel..unbelievable

I'm impressed with Late. Unlike other platforms, I haven't encountered any bugs, and new features are constantly being added. It's impressive how many platforms Late supports and that they all work flawlessly. Overall, I'm very happy with Late.

Late is the best investment I've made through AppSumo. They've nailed a sweet spot by doing one thing really, really well: providing a simple interface to the complexities of cross-platform social posting.

Here's what I've experienced over the last three months of use:
* the API is constantly evolving, and Late capabilities expanding--in my few months of use, they've added collation of analytics and webhooks, for example.
* The company is incredibly responsive to support queries, and patient when those stem from "user errors"
* The API is simple. Task-focused. Developers love to tout the simplicity they create, but they've actually done it.
* The documentation is great, and it keeps improving.

Managing a month of socials has dropped from days to hours. Most of that is research and data wrangling, and the rest automated by short shell scripts hitting the Late API. Quality of my posts have gone up; I can focus on strategy and engagement now that scheduling and posting is managed through Late.

Of all the apps we’ve bought, Late might be the best money we’ve ever spent.

We started using it right when it launched, and the team behind it is incredible; they roll out new features almost every week.

It’s helped us automate our social media across different platforms, and it’s both super stable and fast.

Thanks to their great API, we’ve also connected it to n8n and Make.com to build custom automations, which has made our workflow so much simpler.

If you want to save time and effort managing social media, I’d absolutely recommend Late. The app is well designed, the API docs are clear, and their support is top notch. Zero complaints.👍

Si pudiera pedirle algo, seria que en lugar de tener que gestionar o publicar desde la plataforma, que se autopublicara de la misma forma que lo hace ahora pero directamente desde la red social de preferencia. Por ejemplo en mi caso publicar en otras redes lo que publico en Linkedin (Obviamente aplicando los cambios necesarios para ajustarse a limites y caracteristicas de cada red social) Ahi lo dejo... Ah y que se autoajustaran los medios para las diferentes redes sociales, es un poco pesado tener que ir ajustando imagenes y videos al formato de IG por ejemplo

Real examples from my week:

I dropped a single post that went to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Threads in one shot. No retries. No mystery failures.

I queued a month of client promos with bulk upload, then set an evergreen queue for filler content. All the channels stayed active while I focused on strategy.

For automation, I used the API with an n8n workflow to take approved blog excerpts and push them to a social queue. No manual copy paste.

I tested a simple iOS Shortcut to post from Notes while on location. Hit the shortcut, done.

Two things stood out. First, reliability. I would rather have a steady workhorse than a flashy dashboard that breaks. This has been steady. Second, support. I reported a small edge case and got a helpful reply the same day. Based on other reviews, quick fixes are normal here.

Are there areas to grow. Sure. I would love richer written guides alongside the YouTube walkthroughs, and Instagram Stories need careful handling since they only take one asset per post. None of that blocked me from using it daily.

If you manage multiple brands or locations, Late saves real hours. It is simple, API friendly, and backed by a team that ships. I’m keeping it in my core stack.

I cannot run API posting video on FB,Threads and there are issue with Intagram Make module

Super easy to use and saves me tons of time. I can schedule all my posts in one go and forget about it
