We had a great session with Charlie, he was kind and approachable and the session was engaging. My four year old was confidentially pedalling by the end.

Charlie was excellent with my 5yr old and oh what a joy it was to see my daughter ride her bike without stabilisers, the session also inspired us how to build her confidence but was also fun for all too :) deffo recommend a session with charlie if youre feeling stuck or even if you want your kid to experience independence on a bike. Thankyou!!

Wow! Was not expecting what I saw. My child was pedalling within 20 minutes of the lesson. Charlie was fabulous and quite clearly enjoys his job.

My 8 year old was riding her bike within 45 minutes after years of stress! Charlie is a true professional and made it fun. He was so great with the kids and you could see the pride and pure joy in their faces when they grasped it! Honestly would recommend if your in a bit of a rut with it. Amazing. Thanks Charlie

My son had a fantastic experience learning to ride here! He had only ever cycled with stabilisers before, but with Charlie’s guidance and encouragement, he gained so much confidence. Charlie was patient, positive, and made the whole process really fun. My son came away feeling proud of himself and excited to ride more. A big thanks to Charlie for helping our 5 year old daughter get cycling! We had a one to one session and Charlie managed to build trust and connection with our daughter straight away. We can't thank Get Pedal Ready enough! My 7-year-old son had been refusing to learn to cycle for a long time -he really struggled with pedals, even on a tricycle, and had completely lost confidence. We were beginning to think it would take months of coaxing to get him back on a bike.

Enter Get Pedal Ready and the brilliant trainer, Charlie. In just one two-hour session, they worked absolute magic. Charlie was fantastic- calm, encouraging, and clearly experienced with kids. He instantly connected with my son and made the entire experience fun and pressure-free.

By the end of the class, my son was riding confidently and, most importantly, with a huge smile on his face! It's honestly more progress than we ever expected in such a short time.

We took our son Franklin (2 years and 11 months) to Get Pedal Ready after they saw a video of him on his balance bike. Even though they officially start from age four, they said to bring him in—he looked ready. The deal was: most kids learn in 45 minutes, and if not, a second lesson is just £20.

He zoomed around the track on his pedal-less bike, and within minutes, Charlie (the instructor) had the pedals back on. What followed was nothing short of magic.

Charlie coached him through the basics—feet down, feet up without looking—then taught him to pedal while the back wheel was lifted so he could feel the motion. Then came the moment: run, run, run, stomp on the pedals… and go!

Our two-year-old was cycling. Not wobbling. Not being held. Just riding.

We were only half an hour into a two-hour session and already picturing him overtaking Lance Armstrong (minus the EPO). Charlie was calm, clear, and brilliant with kids.

Now—before the usual “parents should be teaching this” crowd pipes up: yes, some kids need a little extra help. Some are autistic. Some are dyspraxic. And some, like ours, are inches away from getting it, but just need the right technique at the right moment. This gets them over the line—and it’s worth every penny.

Get Pedal Ready didn’t just teach our boy to ride. They gave him a moment of pride we’ll never forget. Highly recommended.

Charlie had infinite patience with my two grandchildren who are Neurodiverse. They both made more progress than we'd hoped for! Charlie worked with each child in the group individually and the tuition paid off with successful cyclists.

My 10 year old son who has autism learned to ride a bike within 20 minutes by following Charlie's instructions. I couldn't believe how fast he learned and gained the confidence in riding a bike by himself. I couldn't recommend Charlie enough. He taught my son a skill which lasts lifelong.😇

Charlie was great with both our son and daughter. He was very patient, kind, fun and had a great attitude. Both kids learned very fast with his guidance and support. If you need any help with your child(ren) learning to cycle Charlie is your guy.

2 weeks ago my boy was scared of his bike and certainly couldn’t ride it! 2 hours with Get pedal ready and he has mastered it so much we have just spent 4 days a Centerparcs where he rode his bike everywhere we went!

Highly recommend to anybody who is struggling to teach their children to cycle!

Charlie is a great instructor, very patient and full of enthusiasm- we would highly recommend taking your child/children along!

My daughter (nine) has struggled to get to grips with riding her bike properly, no matter how hard I have tried!

In two hours Charlie genuinely pulled off a miracle to get her confident and riding perfectly.

His technique bit by bit brought her on to be able to ride, on her own, and now there is no stopping her!

Charlie, the instructor did a great job teaching my granddaughter to ride. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. She can now ride a 2 wheeler! I would highly recommend.
