I recently went to G Fried to pick out carpet for my bedroom, and the whole experience was wonderful. Sam walked me through the hundreds of different options, helping me select the perfect choice. The process from start to finish was seamless, and everyone in the store couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. Shopping during Covid can be tricky/nerve-wracking, but the owners put plenty of safety protocols in place and I felt comfortable throughout the shopping experience.

I needed carpet for my new condo and G Fried never disappoints. They have such unique and up to date carpet. The owner helped choose my bedroom carpet, which is the softest carpet I have ever felt! They installed on a Saturday, which was so helpful and it all came out beautifully. Thanks again G Fried!

We have used GFried for carpet and recently had our floors done in our home. The floors are beautiful and easy to maintain. The store is gorgeous and the salespeople friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t go anywhere else for your flooring needs.

I have used G. Fried over the decades for multiple homes. Whether it be for wall to wall, area rugs, stair runners or wood flooring, they have IT ALL! The above review could not be more wrong!!! I have to say, they aren't pushy salesmen like other stores, so they let you shop around until you are ready to purchase or ask questions. G. Fried is the best from start to finish. Their installers are top rate professionals.

I visited this store recently by myself, as my partner was still at work. I was looking to have a new wood floor installed in my office. I heard from a freind that G. Freid was slightly more expensive than other stores, but had a great reputation for quality products and installation. The salesperson was an older lady. I can’t remember her name, but at first she was nice and friendly to me. I specifically asked for real hardwood. As we walked to the back corner of the store where they kept the wood samples, she paused at a different product display and started talking about laminate flooring. I stopped her after a short time and said I heard very bad things about the Pergo, that it swells and delaminates in Florida. Apparently she must have thought I could not afford wood. I got off work early that day and changed out of my suit into some comfy shorts and a tee shirt. It was either my appearance or she is told to push the fake stuff because again she went back to pitching me this product. She said there is a new version that is made from Bamboo dust and vinyl and that everybody is buying it. I firmly told her, again, that I wanted the real thing. She begrudgingly said “O.K. follow me then” and walked me to the back. At this point, she asked me what rooms I was putting it in. When I said a small office, it was like I was no longer worthy of her attention. She said look around, I’ll check back with you in a few minutes. Gone, she just turned around without me being able to reply and walked back to her desk. I was already there, so I did look around and saw a few products that I liked. At least 10 minutes went by after she left me alone, at this point I was pissed. She was still at her desk. Not on the phone, not with a customer, not doing paperwork, but talking to another salesperson at a nearby desk. I felt like a putz walking around with nobody to help me. Finally I had enough and headed to the door. I took a quick detour thru the carpet section as we are doing that on the entire second floor after Christmas. I walked right by her desk and she never said a word. As I was close to the door she shouted, thanks for coming in to look around. As I opened the door, I clearly heard her tell the other salesperson “he was just looking, so that’s not an up” I used to be in retail sales many moons ago selling furniture. An “up” is a awful way to refer to a client, it should never be used. My guess is she is a liar and cherry picker and did not want to lose her “rotation” by helping me. What she did is called “brooming” getting rid of me because she wants a better client. She missed out, I went to Carpet One and was treated very well. They helped me and I got exactly what I wanted. It cost around $4,000 and worth every penny. The were very professional and are family owned and operated. Go to Carpet One if you want a complete experience from start to finish.

The salesman was rude and unhelpful. Another lady saw it and came to help.

We were very pleased to use G. Fried for carpet for our steps. All we encountered were top notch and incredibly professional- from the salesman to the carpet installer, all were a pleasure to work with.

Installation generally went well. We found some damage on leather sofa that had to be removed from room during installation. Fried promptly had a leather furniture repair person come to our home and he fixed two problems to our satisfaction. Back office at G. Fried very tuned in to this problem and resolved it quickly.

I just recently had a carpet installed. This is not the first time that I shopped at G Fried. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous . Ron was my installer . He did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to a family or friend.

They are a very professional organization. They gave me a fair price for quality carpet. For installation, they came with a crew of 5 guys and did a fantastic job in a short amount of time. I would definitely use them again for another carpet purchase.

A delightful experience from beginning to end!

Very pleasant shopping experience.

The carpet installers arrived on time and really took their time to install my carpets. The quality of the carpets is second to none. The installers had to remove 6 of my doors because the carpet was rubbing on them and the doors needed to be cut. They carefully placed my doors against the wall with some carpet cushioning them so they won't be damaged. G. Fried is awesome! You really get what you pay for!!

The product provided exceeded our expectaions in all regards and the pricing was fair and as estimated. We are very pleased with their products and services.

Eric and his 3 man crew were extremely professional. They were very careful moving the furniture out and then back into the room. Eric did a great job with the seams. It looks like one continuous roll of carpet. G. Fried's pricing was very competitive and their office staff did a very good job of scheduling an appropriate install date.

This is the 2nd time I have used G. Fried Carpet and I will use them again.
