I’ve always been a fan of Gisou hair products, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, the lip gloss has been a complete waste of money. From the moment I opened it, the applicator detached, leaving me with a sticky, unusable mess.
Within just two days of purchase, the product had already leaked in my vanity, leaving the tube half empty. This points to a serious issue with the packaging quality.
Beyond that, the formula itself was also disappointing—it left my lips feeling uncomfortably sticky and gave them an unflattering yellow tint.
For a product at this price point, I expected much better in terms of both packaging and performance.

Ik heb een gisou lip oil gekregen voor mijn verjaardag. Hier was ik er blij mij. Heel fijn product, qua texturen en smaak. Nam hem vaak mee in mijn tasje. Echter kwam ik er op een gegeven moment achter dat hij begon te lekken. Zowel als ik hem neerleg als wanneer ik hem recht op zet, de verpakken zit na een paar uur weer helemaal onder aan de buitenkant
 Heel erg zonde, want ik was er in eerste instantie tevreden mee en wilde er wel meer hebben. Maar door dit probleem ga ik er geen meer aanschaffen

Honest review

I used to absolutely love Gisou, but unfortunately my recent experiences have been really disappointing.

The reason I kept buying from this brand is because their old hair mask was genuinely the best mask I’ve ever used. It made my hair incredibly soft, and I would have repurchased it over and over again. I’m still very sad that it was discontinued.

Since then, I’ve tried multiple products, hoping to find something that would give me that same result, but nothing has come close.
• The styling cream and leave-in conditioner spray are, in my opinion, the worst. They actually make my hair feel dry and cause a lot of tangling instead of detangling. I also really don’t like the scent, which makes it even harder to use them.
• The hair serum doesn’t seem to do anything noticeable for my hair.
• The hair oil is okay, but only as a pre-wash treatment. Using it on dry hair just makes it look greasy very quickly.
• The new hair mask is not bad, but it doesn’t give the same softness as the old formula at all.

The only product I still genuinely like is the hair perfume — it smells really good.

Overall, I feel like the brand doesn’t deliver the same quality it used to, especially considering the price point. Most of the products I’ve tried — especially the leave-ins — feel very average and honestly give me “drugstore” results.

Maybe it just doesn’t suit my hair type, but I’m mainly disappointed because I know what this brand used to be capable of. I really wanted to love these products, but they just don’t work for me.

Lip gloss very poor!

Unfortunately, not a good review. I ordered three lip glosses, and all three leak profusely! You absolutely cannot carry them in a bag. So be careful! Because now my nice bag is full of lip gloss. I've never had this problem with other brands. It even leaks when standing upright. I reported this by email on March 4 and asked for advice, but still no response... I won't be ordering them again for this reason! Poor customer service too!

I Terrible customer servicee store on


I am very disappointed with my experience.

On January 20, 2026, I placed an order with Gisou (order number: GI727061). I later returned the items, and according to the tracking information, the return was delivered to their warehouse on February 13, 2026.
It has been 16 days since the delivery, but I still have not received a refund.
I have contacted customer service six times via email, but have not received any response. No updates, no confirmation, nothing.
At this point, Gisou has both the returned items and my money, and the lack of communication is very frustrating. I expected much better customer service from a brand of this caliber. I sincerely hope that this issue will finally be resolved, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend placing orders if you expect timely support in case of problems.

pakket niet ontvangen

Op 16 februari plaatste ik een bestelling van €50. De status staat op geleverd, maar ik heb helemaal niets ontvangen. Ik ben twee keer naar het afhaalpunt gegaan, en beide keren zeiden ze dat er geen enkel pakketje voor mij was. Ik heb contact opgenomen met de klantendienst, maar krijg geen enkel antwoord terug. Dit is een bijzonder slechte ervaring en ik vind het heel jammer dat dit zo moet lopen.

I don't understand how such a large and well-known company can be so messed up. It's been 6 weeks!!! I still haven't received any response from customer support! They sent me damaged, broken products. I sent photo evidence and described in detail what happened that day. I have had health problems because of this situation. Gisou is ignoring me on all social media! Complete silence on their part! They should be held accountable and refund my money, as they didn't send what I paid 200 euros for. DISGRACEFUL!

Delusione!

Una settimana fa mi Ú arrivato l’ordine, contenente vari articoli fra cui il set “GLOW ALL THE WAY”, aprendolo ho notato che l’olio per i capelli era completamente rotto e svuotato, con tutti i frammenti di vetro dispersi all’interno della confezione, situazione anche potenzialmente pericolosa, in più all’interno della Blind box mancava l’applicatore per la maschera labbra, ho provveduto subito ad inviare mail all’assistenza clienti ma ad oggi non ho ancora ricevuto risposta, sono sinceramente molto delusa dell’accaduto e della mancanza di riscontro, considerando la qualità e l’attenzione al cliente che mi aspettavo dal vostro brand.
Chiedo pertanto un riscontro urgente e una soluzione adeguata, come la sostituzione degli articoli danneggiati/mancanti o un rimborso.
Resto in attesa di un vostro cortese e rapido riscontro.

J’étais censé recevoir mon remboursement au plus tard le 9 février (14j aprÚs réception du retour) à ce jour, je n’ai toujours rien. J’ai saisi la répression des fraudes car c’est tout simplement de la fraude. Merci de bien vouloir me rembourser immédiatement. Dommage, les produits sont pas mal mais le service client est juste incompétents. A FUIR
