I booked a stay through Glamping Hub, my wife and I had to cancel due to our grand baby having an emergency surgery, sent emails and texts. My bank was charged and I have been given the run around for months now. They wonât refund my money and wonât answer the phone or email me back to tell me what they are willing to do.
Avoid using this site
I used this site for the first time and never again! I booked a month in advance for my birthday. My reservation was cancelled 4 days prior due to âoverbookingâ. My 2 day booking was cancelled so that a 7 day booking including my dates could be reserved despite being booked after me. The customer service is horrible I should have read these reviews first. Trust the bad reviews and avoid at all costs!!

Agree with former reviewers that pricing is unreliable. Although we had a Confirmed reservation the host (apparently quite greedy) then told us the price would be 10x higher(!) if we wanted to come. Host told us to agree to the new price or cancel. When I attempted to cancel, I got an auto message that we would be charged $315 for the cancellation(!). After receiving insulting email from host suggesting we were trying to sneak in at a lower price (uh, hello, we booked through the system that sets the price!), I had to reach out to Glamping Hub.
Glamping Hub agreed to refund our full price, but not to honor the reservation. Overall a total waste of time. I've never had issues like this with VRBO or AirBNB. Find a more reliable site to book your vacation!

Used Glamping Hub for the first time this weekend and didnât have a single issue. Booking was easy. Didnât have any issues communicating with the host. I would use this platform again.
Glampinghub wasn't reliable for our trip
I attempted to book a cabin for the weekend in Somerset KY. Oddly, Glampinghub.com required us to register on their site and to use a credit card to hold the cabin. However, it didn't immediately confirm. I attempted to contact the host for the cabin, and Glampinghub stripped all my contact information from the email I sent to the host. Gampinghub sent me an email with an "inquiry number," which suggested some notification process was occurring behind the scenes. However, after driving halfway to our cabin, we managed to find a phone number for the rental cabin host on another website. We called and learned they were closed for the season. Further, they said they did not have a business relationship with Glampinghub.com.
Additionally, the information provided on Glampinghub about the rental cabins was incorrect. It stated the location was great for year-round trips, but the cabins are closed in winter. We found accommodations elsewhere via other means. I do not recommend Glampinghub for these reasons.
Terrific Experience with their Support Team
Big shoutout to Emily on the Glamping Hub Customer Success and Support team. While the hub's website and processes are a bit suspect, Emily was very helpful in fixing a gift card issue I had. Basically she escalated my issue for me, and was able to get it fixed for me quickly. I see many of the negative reviews on this site, but for me, the customer support I received was top notch. Thanks Emily!
Glamping Hub Host Katie Biel is deceptive and stole our $$$$
Glamping Hub host - Katie Biel aka Driftwood Hospitality LLC has a place listed as Mill Spring Glamping Yurt. We tried to cancel our reservations for this weekend as I came down with Covid and cannot travel. The host- Katie Biel- not only refused to give us a refund but also refused to offer us any other dates. I did write a scathing email and told her that since she has $1,200.00 of our money we will be there. She then decided to CANCEL our reservation and REFUSED to return our money. Glamping Hub has tried to intervene, but the host _KATIE BIEL is refusing to even work with them. DO NOT EVER USE - MILL SPRING GLAMPING YURT - OR ANY OTHER PLACE THAT KATIE BIEL OFFERS.

I requested a booking and reached out to the host to ask a few questions. I never got a reply for anything. I tried to book another cabin and the same thing happened. No message about request approval or denial. It's a waste of time and they also ask for your c.c. information up front. This site might just be after your c.c. information so I recommend that you don't book here.
No leniency for emergencies
The cancellation policy and leniency, along with the lack of responsiveness, made this a very sad experience. It was my husbandâs birthday, and the hostâs policy is very strict after 24 hours. We werenât able to make it because of an unexpected doctorâs appointment. We of course knew weâd have to pay the base rate, but we were charged with everythingâincluding pet fees and cleaning fees. GlampingHubâs response didnât feel considerate at all; instead, it felt condescending. In all, it was a sad, exhausting experience, especially for my husbandâs birthday. I donât think I would recommend this website.
Horrible service, might be a SCAM
Not just a waste of time, those listing properties are engaging in the illegal practice of bait and switch. I requested a booking which totaled $917, waited days for a response, only to receive the message "Hi, This property is available. The price should be $1,187". Then the updated booking email came which had the price raised to $1,388. I NEVER received a response from Glamping Hub. No support, no control over their platform. STAY AWAY FROM GLAMPING HUB!!!
Waste of time
This site is a joke and they are not very forthcoming about their problems. I requested booking, it was declined for no reason, and when I requested an explanation they wrote me and said âthe owner wrote you about other availability.â They didnât mention the problem, which is that their site was listing dates as available when they were not available and the owner couldnât get them to fix it. I found a better glamping option on Airbnb and had no problems reserving it. I tried to explain this to the owner and they edited out âAirbnbâ from my message. Dude, get together! This site is not ready for prime time.

For me it was a horrible experience to book via this site. The host and I repeatedly tried to change the booking dates and it took a week and a half to get it done (after repeatedly communicating with the customer service). Also I think that the percentage of the total booking price which goes to Glampinghub is absolutely disgusting: A whopping 20 percent! I advice you not to book from this site. There are lots of other options.
Terrible company
Terrible company. In trying to cancel my reservation 28 days out they only return 50% of the money and they also keep the âservice feeâ and tax. Itâs a shady business. Every other site will cancel and return your fee. Do NOT use this site

Glamping.com is a SCAM
This site is a SCAM. I found a Red River, NM house on glamping.com that was MUCH cheaper than it should have been, which was the first red flag. While continuing my search for a vacation rental on other websites, I came across the SAME house on VRBO. When I contacted the owners, they said they ONLY list their house on VRBO. They had no idea their house was even listed for rental on glamping.com and that it must be a total SCAM. So glad I didn't rent through glamping.com. Do yourself a favor and stick with reputable sites like VRBO or Airbnb.

My host needed to cancel due to weather issues which was understandable, but it took me four methods of trying to contact before receiving notice.
Cancellation on the part of the host caused need for me to communicate directly with GlampingHub to receive refund, but did receive. Still stuck with no reservations 2 days before a holiday weekend.

At this point it seemed shady so now my concern was making sure my credit card would not be compromised.. I called Glamping Hub (no answer) first the voice-mail said leave ur booking number and we will call you back or you can email us.. I call the very next day (no answer) Now the voice-mail says due to a situation we are no longer taking calls just email us.. SHADY! Today Sept 1 I get a email that my booking was declined from the Host and my card will not be charged.. So happy for that.. Do not waste ur time with this bougus site..

Do not book through Gamping Hub. I wish we had checked for reviews before booking through this site. We didnât pay enough attention to all the reviews and ended up spoiling our vacation after reaching the site and driving back home the same day as finding a new place for the long weekend was next to impossible. It has misleading photos and multiple shots of the same view with different arrangements and during any dispute Glamping Hub conveniently shows the one with the terrible layout to say âwe told you soâ. We ended up booking up a reservation which was not worth going to for an emergency stay with odor all over and horrible background with the junkyard around the tent, let alone any vacation.It is the most terrible customer experience we have ever had wherein we had to drive back home the same day after seeing the site and got the response from glamping hub after 12 hours. In the middle of all these chaos, glamping hub never returned the service fee and other fees which was around 200 dollars. Please donât waste your vacation time and money with this site and look elsewhere to plan your vacation.
